You'll get a nicely decorated, well maintained condo at one of the most enjoyable places on earth - the Sands Ocean Club Resort

We have several years of experience renting our condos to Myrtle Beach vacationers.

Whether you have stayed at Sands Ocean Club before or it is your first time, give us a try. We take care of our guests and they often choose to come back year after year.

The resort is conveniently located near everything great in Myrtle Beach. While many of our guests don't leave the property at all during their stays, those who want to explore all of the attractions that Myrtle Beach offers will find that we're not far from Barefoot Landing or Broadway at the Beach.

At the resort, you'll find and indoor pool, an outdoor pool, 2 large community hot tubs, a lazy river, an indoor lounge, 2 restaurants, a Spa, a convenience store, and a gift shop. Across the street you'll also find an other small shops including an ice cream stand and beach bicycle rental. Further up the street (Less than a mile) you'll find additional restaurants shops, and a grocery store.

On the beach, you'll have a short walk to the Apache Pier, said to be the longest pier on the East coast. The Pier is home to its own seafood restaurant, an arcade, gift shop, ice cream, and outstanding fishing opportunities.

Myrtle Beach Vacation

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Sands Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach. The unit was on the second floor and the view was amazing of the beach. The room was clean and perfect for what we were willing to spend. We will definitely be back again next summer.

Nice for the price

Nice, well located condo with good ocean view. Cold AC and everything worked. Just needs upgraded bathroom vanities and sinks as they are pretty rough, some paint, and new carpet. With a little sprucing up, this condo will be even better! Had a great time at the beach. Would recommend.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

Loved our stay at the Sands Ocean Club! From the time we arrived we were impressed... the men at the front door even unloaded our luggage and took it to the room! The owners of unit 524 were very pleasant and provided great customer service. The room was exactly as described and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. River City Cafe has the best burgers ever and Ocean Annie's provided great nightime entertainment! Elevators were fast, plenty of parking available, and the staff was super! Will be staying at Sands Ocean Club again for sure.

Great place for families of all ages!!

We had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Myrtle Beach. The owners of the condo were were very easy and pleasant to work with. The condo was clean and a good size for our family. The location was great and our view was beautiful (we stayed in the 2 bed ocean front). I have a young son and a teenage daughter, there was plenty to do at the resort for all of us as well as being centrally located to all of MB's hot spots. Ocean Annie's was great for the adults, and my son loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi when he done at the beach. We loved being right on the beach and watching the fireworks right from our balcony. We will definitely be back next year and are planning on more families joining us!! Thanks again!!!

Great property

These condos are great for a fun, relaxing beach vacation. This condo particularly was very clean, nice, and the owner's communicated wonderfully. Absolutely no issues. I have stayed at Sands Ocean Club for many years and simply love it; it is not a stuffy and uptight atmosphere, but casual and laid back; and people are friendly. In the past, I always booked direct. This year, the property started a 5-night minimum which did not work for my family. I found this one with VRBO; and booked last minute; I have had issues with VRBO rentals previously, so I was hesitant, but the owner's made this one a wonderful experience. I do like the burger bucks at this hotel, and a few amenities like soap, coffee, shampoo & conditioner that you get through direct booking, but not if the property adds restrictions that do not meet my needs. I would definitely stay in this condo again. The Tufts seem like great, family-oriented people!!!!

Really Beatiful Vacations

I recently stayed at Sands Ocean Club Resort. I was a little skeptical about the Unit Conditions based on other people feedback. But The unit I got was really clean. Very comfortable beds, sofa, clean kitchen and everything was at my expectations level or better. And Trust me, I started traveling twice a year to Myrtle Beach in last 5 years and I didn't repeat any of the Hotels I have stayed as non of them was good enough for the price I paid. In this case... I got more based on my expectations. So, Really want to congratulate the Hotel management and Condo's Owners to keep the hotel units so clean and in working conditions. By the way, the have a Beach Bar, 1 outdoor swimming pool, 1 indoor, and 1 lazy river. I got a condo in the Executive tower but the same administration told me they have Rooms in the other tower with same maintenance conditions. They also have a big shaded parking lot.

Myrtle Beach condo

The stay was fine but for the money not worth it- there was mold on the shower curtain, the tub and toilet were dirty on arrival, and several pieces or items of furniture were broken and marked up. On arrival there were several bags of trash left in front of the door blocking the entrance into the condo just left there for us to take care of.

Not for families

Overall, the condo was fine. It was a bit beat up. The microwave light and vent fan did not work. The door on the master closet was resting behind the entry door to the bedroom. Nothing major just got the sense that it was left as is for a while. The balcony furniture was plastic chairs and a side table that were stained. The rest of the condo was fine including the beds, linens, kitchen and living area. The resort common area was not family friendly. It would be way more appropriate for couples/singles who want to drink and smoke by the pool. The check in process was not described correctly and could have been much easier if we had known that we did not have to wait at the resort check in for parking keys cards and could get them from any bell boy. Our location and area of the beach was great. View from balcony was nice too! We had a great vacation, but I would not recommend for families or people who want a quiet getaway.

This place wasnā€™t great..

The rooms were entirely too small. The kitchen was tiny, and the bedroom with 2 small beds was even tinier. TV in the second bedroom did not work. The sofa bed has a huge bulge in the middle and was impossible to sleep on. (Ended up having to buy a blowup mattress) Nothing to do close by without having to drive 20 minutes. Only 1 outdoor pool so it was very crowded. Only 1 indoor pool and it was also very crowded. Very outdated rooms and building. The lobby smelled of old cigarette smoke. None of the bellhops would help us carry our luggage or even tried to get us a cart. Parking is a nightmare. The beach was pretty nice though. Overall, the room was just bad with wear and tear on all the furniture and extremely cramped.

Accommodating Condo

We found this place to be very acceptable for our beach vacation. We were a little hesitant due to some previous reviews but when arrived found no issues. The condo was as described and the resort was clean, pleasant and friendly family atmosphere. I guess if youā€™re expecting a top-of-the-line condo with all leather furniture and a staff to pamper you 24/7 then this is not your place like most rentals in the South Carolina area. But if you want a clean well kept up place to relax and enjoy your vacation this one works great. The owners communicated above expectation and was just a call away if needed although we had no issues. As for my family and I we plan on returning to the same unit again

Vacation Bust

upon arrival found multiple issues with unit, notified owner via test and his response was, if this is going to prevent your enjoyment I will refund you your money and you can rent another condo. We just drove 4 hours and find the unit dirty, floors filthy condo in dire need of repairs and its the weekend, REALLY, find another place. We tried until 0130 and found nothing. Paid for housekeeping and we had to make the beds. Had to put a clean sheet on furniture due to the condition. Wore socks/shoes for the 2 nights we stayed. Left early. Unit was supposed to be non smoking, dingy walls and smell show otherwise. It was so bad our 15 year old grandson said after he got a shower he still felt dirty. In over 25 years of traveling to Myrtle Beach this is by far the worst place I / we have ever experienced and we have stayed with Sands before. Unit was grossly mis represented and this unit should be completely renovated. Both Bathroom vanities falling apart due to age and lack of up keep. The mattress's and furniture need a good cleaning at the least if not replaced. Good thing is we did not find bed bugs. The owners should take time to come stay a night in their unit. Bet they wont., We will visit MB again because we love the area but we will not be staying with these owners. Oh lets not forget the Housekeeping fee that we paid for 3 nights and it is clear housekeeping had not been there in a while. I guess that is just for clean sheets and towels wrapped in plastic.

The condo could definitely use some work three things broken when we got there. No supplies ie:toilet paper. Asked to run dishwasher no soap. Had to buy supplies that should have been provided. View was good though had to clean balcony and chairs. Overall not a great experience would not rebook. The building amenities were older also.

A bargain with a nice view

The condo itself is not fancy but has a nice layout and view. Beach access could not be easier and parking is convenient and close by. The unit interior could provide use a face-lift, but for the convenience of location and the price, I thought we got a good deal. It was quiet and suited our needs well. I would probably stay here again.

Very comfortable stay

I have stayed at other units at Sands Ocean Club. Comparatively speaking, this property had nice upgraded appliances in the kitchen, the mattresses are comfortable and the balcony is large. All units in this building are dated, but the owner of this one has done a good job of upkeep compared to other units in which I have stayed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would look to rent this property again.

Great location! Nice property!

We enjoyed Ocean Annies a lot. Our rental was awesome. One thing we didnā€™t like was the pool was open to the public. Sometimes we couldnā€™t get a seat at the pool because outsiders had reserved benches, which is against hotel rules, but not enforced. The restaurants and gift shops were all very nice. It was neat to be able to buy alcohol right on the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, but the unit needs quite a bit of updating.

Location to the beach and local restaurants and attractions was great. The pools and facilities were also very nice. Many things within the unit that we stayed either need to be fixed or updated.
