Breathtaking Sunsets & Water Views in Egg Harbor - Minutes to Town/Winery/Beach!

Welcome to the Kelley home on Kelley Lane in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, the southern-most coastal town on the Door County Peninsula. Stop your search, we are conveniently located near everything you will want to see or do while here - shopping, wine tasting, numerous restaurants favorites, lots of outdoor dining options, hiking, multiple beach options (closest is Frank Murphy Beach, a minute away), kayaking, zip lining, farm, petting zoo, kids activities, all a close drive. The vicinity surrounding Egg Harbor has THE MOST to offer travelers in the area as opposed to other towns in the Door. Plus it is the closest first major town from wherever you are coming from (as driving all the way up the Peninsula can add an hour extra drive time.) As soon as you hit Sturgeon Bay, just another 15 min until you can start unpacking :-)

The 3 bedroom 2 full bath home is perched on a lofty ridge and boasts an incredible view of Green Bay. You'll look forward to sitting on the deck every night watching the beautiful sunsets or a storm rolling in! Spring blooms, summer winds, and fall colors are just spectacular here. Bring your binoculars and enjoy some boat and bird watching from the deck too. Set on 2.5 heavily wooded acres, the property is extremely private, with only a few neighbors on the lane. In addition, it is connected to 25 acres of forest also owned by the Kelleys – perfect for the tranquil, natural setting you’re looking for. Please note, if you are coming here to work on Zoom meetings all day, this may not be the place for you. Internet in Door County is not stellar. Get off the screens and get outside! :-)

Location, location! We are located centrally in Egg Harbor, in between the downtown area and everything else the area has to offer. Everything you could possibly need is within a 15 min drive. Schartners Farmers Market is just a quick trip up the road about a mile so it is super easy to grab more of that milk you just ran out of or desserts you're craving! For anything else you need (that the downtown market may not have) Walmart is just 15 min away. The house is a 3-minute drive down the bluff to a wonderful beach at Horseshoe Bay's Murphy Park. Another beach option, Egg Harbor beach is about 5 minutes away. For the golfers, Horseshoe Bay Golf Club is across the street from Kelley Ln. Alpine Golf is also another close option. Plenty of shopping, antiquing, wine tasting, and great restaurants in Egg Harbor (less than a 10-minute drive away) and the neighboring towns. Lots of activities for younger kids within minutes - animal farms, kids parks, kid-friendly restaurants. Also, almost every imaginable outdoor activity is available in the local area.

Updates for the 2018 season: All new mattresses have been put in for a more comfortable night's sleep. An additional patio set was also added for the front deck. The old grill was replaced with a new one. A washer and dryer has been added for your convenience. The interior has been freshly repainted. New Marvin sliding doors and windows installed facing the bay. Also, now providing linens and towels for guests!

Updates for the 2019 season: New furniture pieces have arrived! There is a new couch with pull out bed in the living room, along with an adorable, comfy sitting chair. A new dishwasher was also just installed. The shared full bathroom now sports a new counter.

Updates for the 2020/2021 season: Cleaning protocols include wiping down all hard surfaces with Lysol disinfectant and spraying furniture etc. with Lysol spray. We also just had the carpets all professionally cleaned. During the fall season, there will more than likely be a day, to multiple days, between guests booking. We are continually making improvements to the house, for a more enjoyable stay. From lovely homeownership duties like restaining the exterior, repainting the garage door, to more fun stuff like adding outdoor rugs to the decks to make it cozier! Also, we just put in a new refrigerator and have started updating some of the interior and exterior lighting. For now, the once very cool 70's linoleum stays :-)

Updates for the 2022/2023 Season: We have a new cleaning service! They have been very dependable, we are so grateful. The mattress in the ensuite main bedroom has been upgraded to a comfortable king! We've moved the extra queen bed to one of the bedrooms. New dishwasher and glass top stove have also been replaced. Any old blinds have now been replaced. New curtains have also been added to one of the bedrooms. We now have a pretty good DVD movie library going for those end-of-the-day movie nights. Movies range from kid-friendly to not kid-friendly lol! We have a little library as well that includes adult and kid books. We now have a 65" smart TV for easy viewing from the living room and dining space. You can access Netflix etc. from here but keep in mind sometimes the streaming can lag, hence the DVD movies that are available if you lose patience. There is also cable available of course which doesn't seem to have slowness issues. We also put up a security cam on the driveway to help add a level of safety. The exterior garage lights also now have a dusk-to-dawn sensor allowing visitors arriving late to be able to see more easily.
