Great place for family vacation!

Great location and perfect for our families. We had 8 kids under 8 years old and 6 adults. Easy access to the beach and close to all that Galveston Island has to offer! Would definitely return for another stay.

Nice place, only a couple issues, ice maker never worked (we went and bought ice no big deal) dining table chairs had several loose screws and kinda sketchy to sit in. AC worked great, ceiling fan in main room was awesome. Overall a great stay.

This was a great place to stay. The home was clean and had great access to the beach, we would definitely stay here again. The kids room was great for our 2 year old granddaughter. She loved ā€œher roomā€.

Beautiful!

The location of this home was in a quiet area on the west beach with a short walk to the beach. The house was absolutely beautiful! It had plenty of room, comfortable furniture, a huge deck filled with lounge chairs and a table and chair set with plenty of cushions, spacious areas, a large kitchen with several appliances, plenty of utensils, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, a childā€™s playroom, a propane grill, and a huge relaxing spa! Weā€™re definitely going to rent this gorgrouse home again! Best rental on Galveston island!!

Great Get-A-Way

The house was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities.Outdoor/beach supplies were used daily along with the outdoor living space!The location was a little further from downtown, but totally worth it for essentially a private beach.

4th July Family Vaca 2024

This was by far one of the prettiest and best house we have stayed at. I am not found of public beaches at all, but this one was quick mellow even for it being a holiday. We have been coming out to Galveston for the past 8 years for family vacation get away and this one was the best by far. Definitely recommend the Dunes Delight.

Beautiful property - gorgeous view

Loved the decor! Very spacious. Appreciated all the kitchen supplies and coffee station. The best part were the 2 decks and the views. We def. will be back.

Amazing House

Location was fantastic. Everything was provided for the beach! Kids had a blast in the sub room and loved the PlayStation provided! The swim spa was a nice break from the beach! Mosquito system was much appreciated. Quick replies from management. Already planning next visit.

Amazing house for Family

This is an amazing house that fit all of our needs. We have two grown kiddos that have spouses and the sleeping arrangements were great. Even though it rained most of the weekend, we had a fabulous time. We enjoyed the downstairs space. We used the grill, watched tv, played games and used the swim spa. The house has a wonderful well supplied kitchen, huge tv and plenty of seating for all. The beds are all very comfortable and soft. The beach was so close, not crowded at all and it had some great shells. We loved this house and it's location. Hoping to return annually.

Perfect for friends or family gatherings

We just got family together for three nights and this house was the perfect fit. There were five adults, four kids and one teen with plenty of room to spare. The kids loved their room and itā€™s exactly like it is pictured. Both Master bedrooms had plenty of dressers and big closets. The home has a ton of beach and regular towels. Showers come with shampoo/cond. and soap dispensers. The tv downstairs works great but can start up slow so have patience. The swim spa was a huge hit. My youngest is 42ā€ and the middle came up to her chin. There are multiple settings where you can just relax or make it wild for kids. The ocean is visible from the spa as well. The grill was too dirty to use but the host was so kind and is getting that taken care of asap. If cooking inside I would bring cooking spray. There are plenty of pans, plates cups and everything you need to make coffee. Plenty of restaurants nearby if eating out. Marios pizza is closed Mon. fyi. The house has some games in the living room but not many kids games. Our kids didnā€™t use the PlayStation because they are in their Roblox phase. I recommend this house and we will be back for sure.

DelightFUL!!!

We had a fantastic stay in Galveston, Texas!! This house is so amazing for so many different reasons. My husband loved it because the kitchen has everything you could need and more. Thereā€™s also a grill in the backyard that we used for grilling pork chops and steaks. I loved this house because it was super clean and the beds were heavenly! Thereā€™s also a Kuerig in the kitchen AND in the master bedroom which was perfect. My oldest daughter loved it because not only is it on the beach, but thereā€™s a fantastic hot tub downstairs that was perfect for the cool nights. There also a closet downstairs that has every thing for the beach you would need. My 4-year old loved it because it was decorated so beautifully! She called it the ā€œMermaid House.ā€ And what she really enjoyed was playing with the plastic owls on the patio that she played with like dolls and watching our dogs experience beach life for the first time. They were hilarious. This house is also close to a Dollar General which came in clutch after we left some stuff at home. Thereā€™s also several convenience stores and restaurants close by. One day, we went to Pleasure Pier which was also convenient to a d just added to the family fun. We had a wonderful time and we hope to be back soon!

This house has everything you need from beach wagons, chairs, amazing outside entertaining spaces, to kitchen gadgets. It was by far the best beach house stay we have had. The views are incredible, bedrooms are very comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets to make it comfortable. We had fun as a family swimming in the swim spa on the downstairs patio, our 4 year old very much enjoyed it. Everything was clean and space was inviting. Mark and Liz were quick communicators and ensured the stay was enjoyed. I really loved the little QR codes in the family room that was basically an island travel guide with recommendations and things to do. Pretty sure we found our new favorite spot!
