The views can't be beat
We loved our stay at Morning Glory. We spent a lot of time just staring at the water. The beach was amazing and we rarely saw other people. It's hard to tell from the pics but there are rocks in the entry to the water, they are smooth enough to walk on but boogie boarding is a no go. We snorkeled and saw lots of great fish behind the house. There is plenty of snorkel gear and everything you need for the beach. House is well equipped and had everything we needed. It was quite hot and humid during our stay and the main part of the house never cooled down much, but the bedrooms were comfy with the fans and in room AC (they are a little noisy so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper). We had a glitch with the generator not turning on during the power outages. Local property managers were helpful and I understand host is working on getting it repaired. That was really the only bummer of our stay. Eleuthera is so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of options at grocery stores nearby. Eleuthera Farms was our favorite for produce and other food items. Restaurants definitely run on island time and were hit or miss, but everywhere we ate was very tasty. Most places took card, but a few were cash only (like the pizza place). Eleuthera has a saying that "it's not for everyone" and that is so true. If you are looking for a super developed place built for tourists, this is not it. But for an amazingly peaceful, tranquil, beautiful place, go!
