The location was excellent- close to the beach and restaurants. The pool is right outside the door and was great. The outdoor space is perfect for hanging out, rinsing off all your gear, and laying out towels and beach toys. The golf cart turned out to be a huge luxury-no sand in your own vehicle, beach parking pass already paid for, super convenient and fun. Would definitely stay here again.

amazing place, if available book it. Location is amazing 1.5 minute golf ride to the beach, store around the corner, the house is furnished with everything you need ,Golf cart upon arrival is the best no need in looking or turning in a day early. Only 1.5 minute ride to the beach.We love the neighborhood. having the pool right next to you is awesome all well, overall a great place already recommending to friends family,anyone really lol.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is amazing and made getting around Port Aransas so easy. The house is decorated beautifully, the beds are comfortable, and the outdoor area is definitely a 10/10. Having the golf cart included was also a huge plus and made the stay even better.A few little things to know before you go: they do charge for early check-in. We thought we might arrive about three hours early, and in our experience, most VRBOs will usually let you come a little early if the property is already ready. Since this home is already on the pricier side, it would have been a nice courtesy.Also, the listing says two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, but we only had one in each, so definitely bring some extra. I had seen another review mention the same thing, so it seems like that may be pretty standard here.The pillows are a little thin, especially in the bunk room, and there weren’t any extra blankets. If you like a heavier blanket, bring one because the A/C works really well! There were plenty of bath towels, but no beach towels, so be sure to pack those too.Overall though, we had a great stay and none of these things would keep us from renting this home again. The location, outdoor space, comfortable beds, and golf cart made it a really great Port Aransas rental!

House was great! So close to the beach, pool, and in town restaurants and beach shops. The whole family slept comfortably, ate great dinners, and enjoyed the beach cart rides. Will definitely book again! Thanks for the memories papakeekos!

Great stay for a family!

Great location! We had an issue with the lock and they sent a maintenance man over very quickly. I would recommend this stay.

The house was exactly as described...literally less than a hundred feet from the pool....maybe a 5 minute golf cart drive to the beach, and the addition of the gold cart was AWESOME

Labor Day Weekend

This property was the perfect getaway for our family of 6. It is conveniently located close to town and the beach. Two of the many perks you will enjoy while renting this house are plenty of parking and having a golf cart included. Looking forward to staying here again!

Rainy days stay

The property was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Having the golf cart included was a tremendous advantage! We had a great time even though the weather did not cooperate!

Overall a great area and place to stay. However, floors did not seem to be cleaned very well (hair found on the bathroom floor when we arrived). Seat belts were rusted on the golf cart so you could not use. Propane fire pit would not stay lit.

Review

Good location and property was clean. Did have several roaches and was unable to use the golf cart due to no key and a flat. We had to rent a golf cart, so unexpected expense.

Thank you for staying with us. Unfortunately, the golf cart did have a flat tire and we did call the golf cart mechanic and left a voice message. We also did refund you the full amount for golf cart rental VRBO and like any other when doing a refund unfortunately it does take a few days to get it back on your card. But we did take care of you the best we could

Week beach getaway

I have to say for starters, the house is beautiful! Really spacious and accommodating for my family. Bed are super comfy and that AC is ice cold in this Texas heat! The only complaint I would say is that the seatbelts on the golf cart were super rusted and couldn’t be used.. we made up for that by using bungee cords for our kids to ride in the back. Location is right around the corner from the pool. Also being able to sit outside on the couches was a plus. Along with playin darts it made this trip one to remember. We will definitely be coming back!

Acceptable switcharoo

Property owners cancelled on us but property managers switched us to another place they manage (Feelin Tip Sea) for same price. So we got extra bedroom and small “game room.” Living room couch had broken recliner, they left us extra toilet paper but just a couple drops of dish soap, one big stove burner did not work, the previous renter’s trash filled half of the one small outside garbage bin, they brought us oven mitt and hot pad when I told them there were none, but they could not find correct TV remote for living room TV and ghosted me about that after my 2nd request.otherwise the place was very clean and most items were as expected. We had an acceptable stay. I guess the extra bedroom made up for some small imperfections.

The house was perfect for our group with space for all of us. The golf cart was a great bonus and we used it daily for our trips to the beach and back. The only issue was with the community pool, it was extremely dirty and not adequate for swimming in. Our teenagers wouldn’t even go near it!

Very good place to stay! If one were to do a pros and cons list, the pros would significantly outnumber the cons. Pros-comfortable beds, great AC, great tv/entertainment choices in every bedroom and the living room, attractive, comfortable, and clean furniture, plenty of hot water and towels, LOVED having the golf cart, pool was good, lots of beach toys and chairs, well-equipped kitchen, and I could go on about the pros, but honestly the location was our favorite part. Con’s-it’s a tad pricy but comparable to other places this size around this area. Before I list the cons I do want to say I never contacted them about any of these things so they had no chance to remedy anything. The floors are a bit worn and slightly warped in places, and the dryer only dries on one setting (it’s written in marker on the top of the machine) and the lint trap won’t go in all the way so clothes get stuck and twisted on it. The dishwasher works well but the start button is worn out and tricky to make work. We had four rolls of toilet paper for five days with eight people, so we had to buy our own, which is a first for us at an air B&B. Despite all this, I would stay here again and I do recommend Papakeeko’s.
