Maui Kai, perched at the water's edge, is among the closest to the ocean. Recent regulations prohibit future constructions from being this oceanfront, ensuring an immersive experience of the soothing ocean waves as soon as you open your window.
Maui Kai, once featured as prize vacation stay on the show, is a quiet, uncrowded place situated directly on the oceanfront at the north end of world famous Kaanapali beach, West Maui coast. It boasts a friendly resort atmosphere with lots of Aloha, very well-appointed pool and jacuzzi areas, gas BBQ and a nice game room with TV/ping pong and a full kitchen for the guests that wish to entertain. Maui Kai is minutes away from Maui Kapalua Airport and Kapalua beach. Both Kaanapali and Kapalua offer world-class golf courses. It's located across the street from shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, activities and of course, North Kaanapali Beach.

Our penthouse is on the 10th floor with an enclosed lanai. The open floor plan flows beautifully towards the crystal-clear Pacific lapping up below your gracious lanais. Enjoying unobstructed views of both islands of Lanai on the left and Molokai on the right, year-round dreamy sunsets, coffee on the lanais in the morning and the whales you want to see in whale season, is priceless.
The essence of our penthouse getaway lies in its epic ocean views and seasonal whale watching. Open the expansive lanai windows to embrace the wonderful breezes while easily spotting turtles and parrotfish below. While others gather around the seawall for sunset views, relish the serenity from your private lanai.

Our condo penthouse is right next to all the large resorts where you can get easy access to resort amenities. 5 mins drive to other WORLD-CLASS beaches such as Napili, and Kapalua. Short walking-distance to restaurants, bars, cafes and water gear shops.

Maui is a tropical island and does tend to have bugs and ants during certain times of the year. Although the exterior of the building is routinely treated to help combat this issue and the condo is thoroughly cleaned between each guest, it greatly helps if you leave the screens shut and don't leave any food out to avoid unwanted creatures.

While our setting isn't a traditional resort, it's essential to note that certain conveniences provided by larger resorts, such as daily changes of sheets and towels, aren't available here. If you prefer these amenities, we recommend opting for a resort-style lodging. However, if you're seeking a unique and immersive experience beyond typical resort living, our place offers a tranquil escape amidst Maui's beauty.
