We highly recommend! Our extended family had a wonderful stay. The house is very well stocked with everything you could need and the host was excellent with communication. We would definitely stay here again.

My family had an awesome time staying here!! We really enjoyed the back deck and spent most of our time out there. Tons of outdoor games and indoor games! The kids loved playing down at the river! The dogs had a blast and enjoyed sunbathing on the deck! Everything you needed was right there. If we needed anything your 5 minutes from town! Our family will be back again!

Good stay with access to river- lots of items provided: kitchen supplies, sports equipment, floats, beach chairs, and sand toys. House is on a busy road with trucks going by all day and night. Beds were comfortable and Elizabeth was very responsive. Fire pit and deck really nice! Close to hiking, restaurants, and downtown Bethel.

We had a wonderful time here! Host is very responsive and helpful. There is a path to the Sunday River, a beautiful yard, lawn toys, a large back deck where we barbecued with extended family. It is just a few miles to Bethel which is a lovely town. House is comfortable and well equipped.

Perfect place for family reunion

Spotless property with every amenity indoors and outdoors. Close to the incredible mining museum,kayaking,miniature golf and ski slopes. A perfect location in beautiful Bethel,Maine.

A great summer getaway!

Our week at this property was wonderful. Elizabeth’s communication was excellent and the house had everything that could be asked for. With Sunday River close by it was a perfect relaxing week away with friends! I would highly recommend it.

Could have been a little cleaner but pets were allowed. Kids absolutely loved the river. All and all a great experience.

I have reached out to the traveler to see what needs to be cleaner, but have not received a response. All rooms are cleaned by 3 cleaners after each rental. Surfaces are dusted and disinfected. Floors and carpets are first swept, then vacuumed and hard surfaces are washed. I shampoo carpets as needed and leave cleaning supplies for emergency pet or person cleanup. I will continue to welcome families and pets without additional fees as pets need to be on vacation with their owners when possible. All guests should feel comfortable contacting me during their stay with any concerns,

Greay Stay!

If you're looking for a quiet place with easy, private access to the Sunday River, this is the place! We shared this place with my husband's family (13 in all) and we had a nice time. The house/kitchens are well equipped with all the little things. And Bette, the homeowner, is amazing!

The guests were amazing as well! They helped me with a malfunctioning air conditioner, left the house so clean. Hard to believe there was such a large group visiting!

Great Vacation Stay

We have a group of 14 that came and went. The pictures do not show the whole house. We had plenty of space on days even when all 14 of us were there at the same time. Lots of outdoor space and games available. Elizabeth was very fast responding with recommendations and questions.

Once again we had a wonderful time

From reserving to the check in process things could nit have gone smoother. The pictures of the property only capture a little bit of the home. Its inviting and comfortable. Once again Puzzle Mountain bakery stand is a great benefitit if you want maine wild blueberry pie with with rhubarb,peach, apple, etc...

Great Vacation Home For The Family!!

The house was great and the area was nice and quiet. We loved the huge backyard which we enjoyed with the family to play volley ball, soccer, badminton, etc. There was enough space in the common area to play board games. We all enjoyed the deck, the river in the back of the property a very short walking distance. The Step Falls are also very closed and a nice place to hike and then refresh. We loved it!! and would definitely go back!!

Weekend wedding

We were in the area to celebrate the wedding of a family member. The place was an excellent fit for us. The owner was very accommodating allowing us to check-in early and to check-out a bit later which was extremely helpful in facing the logistical challenges of the weekend wedding events. Beautiful property with a large field behind the house where kids have plenty of space to burn off energy.

Family getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful property. Everything was just as described and everyone in our group had just right sleeping arrangements. We never used the swimming area with the children because the mosquitoes on the path were pretty awful and we were told by other members of the family that the water was very cold. No problem, we found many areas activities and played lots of games, inside and out. I was amazed at how well stocked the house was with just about everything we needed.

Family Vacation

Every aspect of our annual family vacation was amazing The large property was perfect for our growing family to be together while having our own space. The property was well stocked with the items as listed with more than we anticipated.. The river area was a tranquil spot to just relax, while the kids explored & played. The hostess had the area & property info available for our review.The area had things to do for the family when we wanted to venture out. We would definitely recomend this property & would love to stay again. Thank you

Enjoyable week on the river

The house was perfect for our family with the various areas, 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The huge deck with the fire pit was used daily/nightly and the big dining room table fit all of us comfortably. The river marks the property boundary line and was a great area to hang out. Bette was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The property could use a little maintenance but we will definitely consider staying here again.

We built the house to accommodate large family gatherings, while still providing private and quiet areas throughout the structure. We appreciate it when guests let us know about maintenance issues so they can be addressed in a timely manner.

Nice family location

This home was perfect for 4 generations to get together. The beach area was great for both the grandkids and the dogs. At first worried about the main road but the backyard is so huge it was never an issue. Nice big deck space for us all to gather. Loved all the separate living spaces for people to spread out when needed. Enjoyed being close to Sunday River Brewery and Steam Mill Brewery was awesome. Lots of nice areas to take hikes with young children. Easy and quick communication with the owner. Thank you Elizabeth!

The house was a perfect spot for a large family vacation! The house is larger than it looks in the pictures with tons of space for people to spread out and find privacy if they want it. The river was low because of the drought but the kids still loved splashing and sitting in tubes. The backyard is enormous and allowed us to set up several lawn games at once, for variety. The location offers tons of privacy but is still only 5-7 minutes from restaurants, a grocery store, coffee shops, and more. We had 8 adults, 6 kids and a dog, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The house is very well stocked with much of what we needed for cooking, grilling and entertainment. The owner was very communicative and pleasant to work with. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you for a memorable week!
