WELCOME TO YOUR BEACHFRONT LUXURY RETREAT IN LAS CONCHAS
Experience unparalleled beachfront living in this expansive two-story home located in the exclusive gated community of Las Conchas. This privately gated property offers four spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms, ensuring both comfort and privacy for your group.

ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN
The home features stunning artistic brick domes in the dining and master bedrooms, along with floor-to-ceiling tinted glass that showcases breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez. The great room is crowned with a 22-foot high cathedral brick dome ceiling topped by a gold cupola, allowing natural light to flood the space. The home is furnished with imported pieces from the Philippines, including a unique whale’s tail coffee table, grand white pillars, an automatic gas fireplace, and a Bose stereo system.

KITCHEN AND DINING
The large fully equipped kitchen includes a side-by-side refrigerator, high-speed halogen cooking center, dishwasher, microwave, drinking water system, and satellite HDTV. The dining area is surrounded by tinted glass walls, offering stunning ocean views as you dine.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The master bedroom features floor-to-ceiling ocean views, a king-size bed, and a cathedral brick dome ceiling. The master bath includes glass block walls, custom cabinetry, and granite countertops.
The second main floor bedroom offers two queen beds with hand-carved headboards and a private custom bathroom.
The downstairs Whale bedroom includes a hand-carved king-size bed and a large custom bathroom.
There is also large TV center, with a memory foam queen-size sofa bed and a private bathroom that can be used as a fourth bedroom

OUTDOOR LIVING
Enjoy a large private upstairs veranda with a gas barbecue, perfect for relaxing afternoons or stargazing. The property also features a covered porch, beautiful whale mosaic, hot and cold water beach shower, and easy beach access.

AMENITIES
Central air and heat, fans in every room, WiFi, satellite HDTV, and a drinking water system are included for your convenience.

HOUSE RULES
No smoking inside the home. This home is pet friendly with prior approval; the pet fee is $75 per pet. The maximum occupancy is 8 adults. Exceeding this limit without authorization will result in a $1500 penalty. Sheets and towels are provided.

Owner should have house better preoared

Architecturally beautiful great beach location. Oceano, the management company was outstanding at responding to issues. A/C worked great. Cons: lots of ants on cabinets, mouse dropping in every lower cabinet, no umbrella on deck, micro and oven not functional (manager got fixed), TVs did not work (management fixed small tv), not so much as a broom for cleaning(I.e. a broken glass, or if someone got sick), mouse ran across kitchen 2x while cooking (we elected to eat out every night after), no access to a washer and dryer. House is for sale and in need of updating. None of this was managements fault..I would rent again from them but probably not this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love going to Rockey Point and wanted to give this property a second chance. Nothing had been fixed from our last trip. Wind comes thru the doors, water came in from the rain in the master, the grill was dirty and needs to be replaced, chipped plates, pull out couch didn't work (would flip closed when you lay down on it). Had to ask to get clean sheets and towels (stayed 10 days). TV is downstairs and there was spiders, cob webs, and very dirty. Not what you expect when paying this much for a property. Will not go back to this property!

Great trip with some disappointments

We stayed in the house with our children and grandson for a total of 6 nights. The house is beautiful, kitchen is decently stocked with most things that you need for meal prep. The balconies, sitting room and kitchen areas were the most used, missing the beautiful beach views. On the first day that we checked in we arrived after the office had closed but our keys and a map were left and we had no issues finding the house. A maintenance guy even stopped by and made sure we had his number should the need arise. Everyone was nice and accommodating. On day 5 we lost water in the house. we called the maintenance guy and the rental office, leaving several messages with no response. A repair person from the leasing office showed up and was going to take care of the water issue. it took 6 hours for us to get water again with no follow ups or updates what so ever. water went out again the following day with a better response time. Customer service is severely lacking, even when brought to their attention that customer service needs improvement still no improvement. no one from the leasing office apologized for the inconvenience- first step in customer service. I asked several questions and most were ignored and never responded to. there was no compensation or further follow up regarding the issue. I was informed that the leasing company was going to see what they could do for us regarding some sort of compensation and a week after we checked out we continue to be ignored.

Disappointing stay

Given the price point for this property we were extremely disappointed. No working TV, house was dirty upon arrival, no measuring cups, no hand mixer, fans were loud and not in good condition (unusable), bottom floor smelled of cat urine, no working lights in the master bedroom, dishes were chiped, cups, utensils, and plates were dirty in the cabinet, 4th bedroom isn't a bedroom-it has 2 pullout sofas, and no way to lock the house when going to the beach unless you went out the front door and walked all the way around! We love going down and we do go down every few months-this house will not be chosen!

Beachfront and Ahhhhmazing!

This house is right off the beach, setback for privacy, has a great secluded patio, huge open area with fireplace, and large bedrooms with large bathrooms. Everything is updated, but remains an iconic, Las Conchas beach house, with Mexican flair, and simple vibes. Great pace for family or groups. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful property

This home it’s a very beautiful property! It was super clean and really well maintained. We had no problems whatsoever during our stay. It is directly on the water although there are some sand dunes with shrubs right between the property and the waterfront so it’s set back just a bit from the beach. But not much and we had direct access and unlimited views of the sea. The fourth bedroom is actually a sofa bed in a family room, but it was downstairs with its own bathroom and a door that closed so privacy wasn’t a problem. I do wish the property provided bottled water since most rentals do that. The filtered water at the sink and refrigerator was a mere trickle and not functional. 100% I would stay here again!

Whale of a Tale

Whale of a Tale is a beautiful house, right on the beach. We have stayed here before and loved this house, so we returned this year, even though we were charged a full five day payment when the owner's strict cancellation policy would not let us postpone a visit to Rocky Point during the pandemic. We enjoyed our return visit this year, with a few caveats. There was only one trash bag in the kitchen, no paper towels, and no broom. Oceano, the local management company, did provide us with a broom and a few trash bags. The other problem we had was that one of the refrigerator door shelves was not fastened properly when we arrived, so we lost a bottle of wine and two bottles of salad dressing when the shelf fell out of the refrigerator. On the other hand, it is a lovely home, and generally well maintained.

great house and location but could have been cleaner

House is awesome, views from patio are wonderful, location on beach could not have been better. Bring your own bottled water because the filtered water in kitchen and fridge do not work. downstairs and bedrooms windows were dirty inside and out, all window shades were filthy, loads of dust everywhere.

October Getaway

This was our second visit here. We very much enjoy this home and its proximity to the water and the fish market shopping and dining area. We lost power for a few hours but spent the time on the deck with a full moon for light. It was beautiful! We are already planning another trip next month.

Boyfriends 40th bday stay

The pictures do no justice! When we first walked in we were amazed at the size and the view of this property. It had a relaxing energy and loved how beautifully they designed the place. The ceilings with the dome light and bricks were a great touch. It was literally steps to the beach. The A/C and ceiling fans worked great and all kitchen amenities were included so it was very convenient. Each bedroom has its own huge bathroom and there was an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after the beach! The driveway was gated so we felt secure leaving our cars on the property. We were all very happy with this property! We will definitely book here again when we’re back in Puerto Penasco.

Good review

Everything was good. Only thing was they wanted all of us to have rist bands and they charged me an additional $75 a night for the 9th person which was my 5 year old son.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you fart to loud here you will probably get a call from Oceano threatening to charge you $1500. TONS of things made this place my worst vacation to RP in the HUNDREDS of times I have been there. Yes, hundreds. I think what chapped me the most was the micromanage and cameras everywhere. I have nothing to hide, no one partying or drinking, But when they want to put a bracelet on you to monitor you through cameras to make sure no extra people are there and you are acting properly. . We had 6 adults and 3 kids. Huge place can accommodate 10-12 easily. Got harassed and threatened our whole trip for ONE EXTRA KID! REALLY ? spend $2000 for 3 days to have them call you multiple times a day, stopping by telling you what you can do, where you can and can't park your things, and have not one extra person there. We had other family staying at a house a few blocks away. They never even saw the inside of the house for fear we would be overcharged for people staying there. I get it . They probably have a lot of party people that abuse the rules. But to try to cherry pick and LOOK for a way to charge you an extra buck is just not right. Not sure if it is more the oceano rental company or the owners but either way HORRIBLE way to manage and treat a customer.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful. Quiet, private, and right on the beach. Our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and so much fun.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home and location are amazing. The house is well kept and clean. When we checked in we were informed that we could not have any company and they have cameras installed. If I would have known this ahead of time I would not have stayed there. The reason for our 3-4 trips to Rocky Point a year is because I have family there and the fact that I could not have them over was very disappointing. They said they tried calling me ahead of time to inform me but I never received a call and if they did they should have left a message for something so important. By the time we arrived we could not change our mind the rental was paid and there was no where to go. This information should be posted on the webpage before you make a payment or arrive.
