Wonderful property! Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Easy check in. Our family loved the backyard and all the space the house has to offer. We will definitely stay again.

Thanksgiving week stay at Legacy Green

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very enjoyable. Almost seemed to be better than the description said. Loved the layout, plenty of room. And the kitchen was one of the nicest I've ever had the pleasure to be in. Also enjoyed the backyard putting green area. My only suggestion would be to provide a leaf blower to clear it off as the debris that comes from the trees in the Fall is quite a bit of work to try and clear with just a broom.

Great Home, But Poor Communication About Recording Cameras

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this home before and had a great experience, which is why we chose to book it again for our annual family vacation.Our biggest concern was discovering that there were recording cameras on the property that had not been clearly disclosed to us before booking or prior to check-in. Had we been informed in advance, this would have been our decision to make. Instead, we only became aware of the cameras after arriving, which made our family feel uncomfortable and as though our privacy had not been respected. Transparency about recording devices is something we believe every guest deserves before deciding to stay at a property.Parking was also a challenge. There is not sufficient parking for a larger group, and when we parked on the grass to accommodate everyone's vehicles, the owner contacted us after seeing it on the cameras and asked that we move the cars. While we understand wanting to protect the property, there were no practical parking alternatives available.Although we enjoyed the home itself, the lack of transparency regarding the recording cameras overshadowed our stay. Because this was not clearly communicated before our arrival, we will not be booking this property again. Future guests should be fully informed about any recording devices before booking so they can make an informed decision about whether the property is the right fit for them.

May 2024 Stay

Three friends met on Jekyll for our annual visit to our favorite place! Legacy Green is a wonderful and spacious house with the perfect location for our activities. We love the riverside of Jekyll! The sunsets are breathtaking! We will be back next year and will definitely look into renting Legacy Green again!
