Great stay in charming area

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was clean and the location was great. It's right around the corner from the garden of Luxembourg and there are many great restaurants within walking distance.

It’s fine, good space. Beware in summer.

It’s fine, decent amount of space with two bedroom lofts, two rooms, two bathrooms and a small kitchen. Good neighborhood with lots of good food options within a 5 minute walk, literally right next door to a great boulangerie and 5-10 minutes from transit. Even a washer, but no dryer. But if it’s hot in Paris (May-Sept.), it’s going to be hot in the apartment. There’s no AC, three OK fans, you need to open the windows to let it air out. It’s the ground floor, though, so you may not want to leave the windows open while you’re gone or at night. Would be better with stronger fans, clearer instructions on the windows (you can open the top — didn’t realize that til our last day), and maybe a pair of dehumidifiers. Also the towels are cheap and scarce (four plus two hand towels).

Too hot for a Paris summer stay

I failed to note upon booking that this apartment does not have air conditioning, and unfortunately it was very hot in Paris during our stay. It felt like it was 85 degrees inside the unit, and we decided we couldn't sleep there. The beds are in a loft with fans that you can have facing you; however, it wouldn't have been enough to keep us cool. (We could have opted to open the windows at night, but it's a 1st floor unit and there was no breeze to make a significant difference.)I found getting into and out of the beds in the loft to be awkward - having to bend over and crawl into bed. And, the stairs down from the lofts are quite steep for my liking - especially if you're having to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.There is a washing machine on site but it doesn't appear there is a drier unless we didn't understand how to work the machine. There wasn't a binder or any kind of instructions on site. It looked cute how it was decorated... and the location is terrific. We would have stayed there if the weather hadn't been terribly hot.

Love Paris

Great location! Really loved the neighborhood. Mikhail is attentive and helpful. Nice to have the space to relax. Modern and well appointed living space. Great bakery next door. Had some pacing upstairs neighbors that we could have done without. And didn’t love getting in/out of the loft - we’re quite tall!

Great location, not ideal accommodation for our group

While we appreciated that this flat was located in a great location, near great restaurants, Luxembourg Gardens and within walking distance of lots of shops, the accommodations themselves were problematic.Most notably while I did ask about the stairs and indicated I had an elderly person coming with me who could navigate them, it is not clear in the pictures that the bed is on top of a two foot block and then you have to crawl into the beds, which have an incredibly low (too low to comfortably sit up) ceiling. The entire apartment also felt incredibly damp for out whole stay (although it was very clean) even though it was not raining or moist outside.Because of the bed situation, the older person in our group slept on the pullout, which there were no blankets provided for. There was also very limited toilet paper for a 3 night stay and very basic towels and toiletries given what we paid. Some of this is our fault in not asking more questions of the listing but overall we were very disappointed and we would not book this again.

Bliss in Paris

Such a beautiful spot! Stayed here for three nights. Host is very responsive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Property is super charming and in an outstanding location-quiet and safe. Property is super clean and I am obsessed with the green tile in the bathrooms. All three beds are comfortable including the pull out, and the beds were large (maybe king size)? The only important fact to note is that the beds are both in a loft area and you need to go up stairs to get to them. The stairs are not unduly steep but the clearance above the beds might be tight for someone very tall, and the beds might be difficult to get into if you have any limitations on your mobility. It did not bother us at all (we were dead tired every night after so much walking!) but I could see it being tricky for some people. There is a door separating the rooms, so we were able to have our sons in their own area, with their own beds and bathroom; a massive bonus and hard to find in Europe. My husband and I could have coffee in the kitchen and not wake them up. Also, the TV was in their room so they could have it on and not bug us either! This was the perfect property for travel with older teens!The wifi worked well and is strong.This is truly a special little place that made our stay in Paris even more magical than we might have imagined.

Good location

This property is well located. You can walk or take easily accessible bus or metro (subway) to everything. There is a bakery (boulangerie) right next door to get a fresh, inexpensive croissant or pain au chocolat. Kitchen is well stocked. You can sleep six here if you had to with the pull out couch in addition to the two king beds. We were a family of four and it was plenty of space. We didn’t turn the TV on once during the week because we were on the go every day. But the WiFi worked fine.

Lovely stay in Saint Germain

We loved our stay here. Close to the metro, nice little neighborhood, and a great place for our 5 of 5 to stay. The kids enjoyed the loft bed, our teenager took the pullout and my husband and I on the other loft bed. Our hosts were responsive and good communicators. My only regret was that we didn’t have enough time to fully explore the neighborhood nearby. I hope we can come back!

Excellent location and sparkling clean!

Makiel was a wonderful host and his apartment is perfectly located to walk everywhere you want to go from Luxembourg Gardens to d’Orsay to Le Bon Marche. Take your most comfortable shoes and have fun! The lofts are cool and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

Très joili appartement au coeur de Paris

Très bien situé, c'est à dire juste à côté du Jardin de Luxembourg. C'est très propre, très bien agencé. C'est un endroit très calme. Deux espaces sont très bien separées avec les toilettes pour chaque pièce, ce qu'on a bien aimé. A recommander!

Ideal Paris stay

This cute, very clean flat was a perfect spot for my family during a quick trip to Paris. The space is very thoughtful, the lofted beds make a lot of extra space. They could be problematic for anyone with mobility issues, but it worked well for us. The kitchen is thoughtfully outfitted and it is extremely quiet. We found it very easy to walk to most major attractions or catch the metro. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and comfortable flat

We spent 4 nights here in November - my mom and my 10 to daughter. Loved the location. Very quiet. Queen mattresses in lofts are very comfy and we are from the bakery next door in the morning. Wonderful to have a kitchen. I would absolutely stay again. Communication with host was easy and always prompt.

Paris for 2 nighrs

This was a perfect location for my wife, myself and my daughter. The property manager promptly answer any request that I have and was very helpful. We had a late train and he was able to accommodate a little bit later. Check out based on his future reservations, thank you very much for a great day.

First, the location is great. The neighborhood is great, lots of bistros, shops and a small grocer close by. It is around the corner from Notre Dame and walkable to the Louvre, the accompanying park and the Place de la Concorde. The apartment is also near several Metro stations, makes getting to and from other sites much easier. The apartment itself is fantastic, very roomy, the loft beds are fun (two queen size beds) and the there is plenty of space to relax after a lot of touring. The hosts are excellent, they communicate enough to be helpful but not overbearing. Although when I did have direct questions they were immediate with responses. Our stay in Paris was amazing and staying at this apartment was a big reason why.
