This beautifully decorated 2 story villa has the most amazing Ocean views! You can enjoy breathtaking sunsets from while having cocktails on either the 1st floor or 2nd floor balconies.

The villa opens up to a huge open floor plan with living area, dining area and fully equipped modern kitchen. Kitchen has been recently renovated with a brand new very unique Quartz waterfall effect counter top, brand new electric cook top, wall oven and microwave, brand new coffee area and all soft close hinges for all cabinets and drawers.

1st floor balcony area has 6 burner gas grill, round glass table with seating for 4, 4 brand new leather rocking chairs and ceiling fans for all year round comfort.

The first floor also has 1st guest bedroom with queen size bed, glass door to the outside and a private full bath and brand new 50" flat screen smart TV.

There is a ½ bath in the entryway of the villa.

The 2nd floor has a 2nd living area with brand new 43" flat screen smart TV with glass doors that lead to balcony with 2 loungers and seating for 6.

2nd guest bedroom has a queen bed and private full bath and brand new 50" flat screen smart TV.

The master bedroom with a king size bed is also located on the 2nd floor with a balcony facing the ocean and a private full bath with shower and separate tub also with a brand new 55" flat screen smart TV.

The villa has central air so you are in comfort at all times.

Located just north of the JW Marriott Hotel within walking distance, this villa is the perfect place to stay while vacationing in Costa Rica. The beautiful large swimming pool with under cover sitting area and enclosed air conditioned gym are located just a short walk from the villa.

Enjoy golfing, tennis or pickleball within Hacienda Pinilla, great surfing nearby whether Playa Avellanas or the world renowned surfing of Playa Negra.

You can also enjoy full access to the Beach Club in Hacienda Pinilla which includes their pool, beach access, restaurant, bar, air conditioned gym, spa, volleyball court and bathrooms. As our guest you pay $10 p/p for the Beach Club which is $5 consumable.

We are a short drive to all the wonderful restaurants that Playa Avellanas, Los Pargos, Paraiso, Playa Junquillal and Tamarindo have to offer.

The villa is a 15 minute drive to Tamarindo, and only an hours drive from the International Airport in Liberia.

Full service concierge service provided by property manager who has been living in the area for 15 years. All of your vacation needs are attended to with great care.

Brenda is the best property manager I have encountered, which greatly enhanced the joy and value of our stay. The villa was “as advertised” and perfect for our family of 7!

Very nice option

Very nice place in Pinilla! Location is great and the house is pretty good for 2 families of 4. Very clean and well maintained with basically everything that you need! I recommend to add shampoo at the showers!The ocean view was a plus that we weren’t expecting.

Fabulous sunsets, beaches and accommodations

We loved our stay. Beautiful home with plenty of space for family. Easy access to pool and beaches (5 minute walk). Great golf course. Easy to rent car at Marriott and a real treat to explore delicious local restaurants. Fabulous!

The Best Time Ever

Hacienda Pinilla is the best place to enjoy beach and nature in the Tamarindo area and this villa is the best of the best. Breathtaking sunsets over the ocean, close to the 5 star Marriott, but not too close, howler monkeys bellowing from nearby trees, miles of beach for walking and swimming.

The property itself is fantastic, but Brenda, the property manager, was exceptional in every way. She sends detailed information prior to the stay and responded both by email and in person to requests we had while staying at the property. 100% recommend staying in this lovely villa.

Best Condo Ever!

This is simply the best experience renting a condo. The home was stunning and well equipped. Brenda was ultra helpful and even helped us book excursions. I, literally, cannot say enough good things about our experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Costa Rica fun

This was one of the best vacations ever! Brenda the condo manger if a life saver! She helped us out with car rental when ours fell through! She hooked us up for a fun float down Palo Verde! The condo area is lovely, lots of monkeys out at dusk! Langosta beach wonderful! We will be back!!!

Summer vacation

Great vacation. Traveled to Costa Rica for the first time with 12,13 yrs old kids. Recommend a rental car to get around to all great places. Waze (navigation) and Brenda made for a great vacation. She is very nice and responsive, answering every question we had and more. The excursion Brenda recommended to the waterfall was excellent. The house was clean and kids loved having their own bedroom/bathroom. Highly recommend!

Wonderful villa with gorgeous sunsets

My family had a awesome five day stay at Hacienda Pinilla. Brenda was very responsive and helpful with pre planning information and advice. The location is super convenient to Playa Avellanas using the south entrance. The community pool just outside the villa was a nice place to cool down after a day at the beach. The proximity to the JW Marriott is great if you don’t want to drive off the property for dinner. The villa itself is well kept and very nicely decorated. This was by far our best VRBO experience and highly recommend anyone coming to this area or Costa Rica to stay here.

Amazing!!!

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful this condo is. It is exactly as pictured - huge with beautiful furnishings and views. We loved that the beach was only a 3 minute walk, as well as the JW Marriott for easy restaurant options. We really enjoyed being in the Hacienda Pinilla community, the trails for running and bike riding were amazing. The beach club is phenomenal and shouldn’t be missed. The monkeys out our front door were a huge treat. But by far the best part of this rental was working with Brenda; she was the most helpful property manager we’ve ever dealt with and we can’t thank her enough for all that she did to make our vacation so memorable.

The property was perfect. Our only complaint was that the treadmill in the small gym didn’t work. Not the end of the world at all and more of an issue for the entire property not just the house we rented. But a little disappointing as we wanted to use it. Other than that, no complaints.

Amazing!!

We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about our stay. The house is wonderful, spacious, quiet and perfect. The beach was like a private beach. The monkeys in the tree right outside the front door, as well as on the walk to the beach, were captivating. We had the pool to ourselves and it was beautifully clean and warm. Brenda helped us with every detail! From transportation (airport drivers, drivers to several destinations ) to coordinating a private chef for authentic Costa Rican cuisine (Lila was fabulous- highly recommend) to booking a sunset catamaran cruise for us, we felt she treated us like family. Hacienda Pinilla was fabulous and we can't wait to return. Having this beautiful place and Brenda's help made our trip exponentially better. Thank you, Brenda!!! (FWIW: I had considered the JW Marriott, a few minutes away, but would definitely choose this over that- the accommodations were far superior and you can still walk to their pool bar, etc)

Just wonderful!

This property was a true sanctuary - peaceful, quiet with plenty of room for our family of four. We spent the entire day sitting out on the porches with the view of horses and the ocean with a gentle breeze keeping us cool. Brenda was incredibly helpful, arranging for delivery of some wonderful meals (huge shout-out to La Ventana for delicious meals and ready to make smoothies), helping us arrange transfers and just being there for whatever questions we had. We had most meals in the beautiful condo but it was nice to have the Marriott a five min walk. We also loved having that gorgeous beach to walk down so close. As another reviewer has suggested, I would stop at a grocery as you won't want to leave when you get there. We just loved it!!

Perfect Stay!

My husband and I and our 3 20-something "children" had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this beautiful property. We love to bird watch, and spent the early morning hours on the balcony overlooking the ocean with a cup of coffee and binoculars, and were visited by many gorgeous species. The house is spacious, clean, well-maintained and lovely. During the day we had excursions snorkeling and to the beach, in the evening we enjoyed playing games in the living area. My son enjoyed the gym, Brenda was a wonderful property manager, she was very responsive, and helpful with many suggestions re: driving, places to visit, etc. She also said we did not have to "do anything" for check-out, which helped make the vacation supremely relaxing and pampering as so many vrbo's have an exhausting list of chores for the occupants to do before they can leave. (We did clean up after ourselves, ran the dishwasher and started the laundry for the beach towels anyway.) Highly recommend this lovely property!

Fabulous artwork and a wonderful stay

I stayed at this Villa with 3 of my adult children. My first impression was that is was dark inside. It was so nice and cozy though that the lack of natural light didn't bother me for long. It was very clean and the artwork is incredible (although I would really have liked if there were a picture or mirror above the dresser in the 2nd bedroom upstairs :-). I loved the rural feel of the property. I had expected to be able to walk out of the yard to the ocean, but there is a large field of tall grass between the villa and the ocean. There are 2 walkways that can be taken to 2 different beaches, they are both a bit of a walk. There are also horses in the field next to "our" field which was nice. As far as the ocean views, they are mostly blocked by the trees on the property. You can still see parts of the ocean from both the lower patio and the upstairs balcony. Because the outdoor furniture and the landscaping were so nice, and we went to a beach everyday, I was ok with not having a better view of the ocean. As far as the beds, they are ok, but not great. I need a very soft bed, so I actually ended up using the couch cushions to sleep on and slept very well. I think for "normal" people the beds would be fine, just not great. The master has a king bed. I think the other 2 rooms had double beds. Brenda was excellent. The electricity went out for a while one day while we were gone and she called us to see if we had electricity and air conditioning. When we got home we had electricity (standby generator) and the air came back on shortly thereafter. She also arranged for someone to come to our Villa to do our Covid tests before flying home! Renting this property was by far the easiest and best experience that I have ever had with VRBO. There were not a bunch of dos and don't and endless lists. It was very easy and just felt good. Brenda even told us to leave any food we didn't want in the fridge and the cleaners would take care of it. All 4 of us really liked this Villa. I feel like we liked it more every day that we were there. Two of my other sons and their family had Villas at Hacienda Panilla that were large and had pools, but I really like the coziness of ours. Oh, as far as the pool. It's not a part of your own Villa, but it is very close. We never used it. The Marriott is a very close walk. They have a buffet for breakfast that we really enjoyed. Beach access to the beach by the Marriot is close to the Villa. We really had a great vacation!

Great view and location

Beautiful villa with a view of the ocean and gardens, walking distance to the beach and JW Marriott restaurants. We loved sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee greeting the day and lounging on the balcony watching the sunset. Only tip - go to the grocery store on the way to the villa.

Great family get away!

Great location! Close to the JW and beaches, and has a great private pool around the corner. We enjoyed the quiet nights and beautiful views. Our land lord was always available and a pleasure to work with

Perfect Fam Vaca Before Kiddos Head Off to College

All we can say is WOW! Our family feels like we scored BIG with booking this property as soon as we walked up to the front door! The house is very clean, beyond spacious (2 large family rooms, 3 spacious bedrooms + 3.5 baths makes it perfect for family that has mixed living habits!). The dual-level balconies have beautiful views of the ocean and the sunsets and is so convenient, a quick 3 minute walk to the JW Marriott. On top of it all, the property manager (Brenda) is best-in-class...she was so easy to reach and communicate with and was beyond helpful before/during and even post trip. 100% recommend and we will be back to visit soon. Pura Vida!
