Beautiful property, very clean, felt very safe. only negative was that hot tub did not heat for the entirety of our three night stay. I communicated this to the host and response was that maintenance would be contacted. I never received a follow up so I don’t know if it ever got looked at during our stay. the main road to this house was shutdown during our stay and the secondary road is extremely rough and long

Thank you for your review and for your kind comments about the property. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and felt comfortable and safe. We apologize for the inconvenience with the jacuzzi. Our maintenance team visited the property and adjusted the thermostat on August 9th, although it's possible you didn't see them during their visit. We also apologize for not following up with you afterward. Regarding the road, the construction project has now been completed, and the main road is open again with a brand-new paved surface in excellent condition. Dream Vacation

Hello Team Vida Pinilla, Thank you for making our stay easy and smooth. The house was amazing. Janet the housekeeper is such an asset to the home and really has such an eye for detail. The only thing that did not work in the home during our stay was the Hot Tub. As for things that could use improvement there was really only one thing, the pool deck (dangerously slippery) even for adults.

Wonderful stay at Casa Ola Aloha

The pictures don’t do the house justice. If you are looking for a bit of tranquility near the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo, this is the place for you!

Everything about our stay at Casa Ola Aolha was outstanding!! The home was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The communication from Vida Pinilla made everything easy for our stay. We did the grocery pre-stock and breakfast service which was a great touch to maximize our stay. The Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club was easily accessible and we enjoyed the combination of beach and pool time. When looking for a place to visit we needed a safe property that runners could get their miles in and this was all of that with the many miles of trails and paths within secure gates. All of the recommendations from concierge for transportation, surf lessons, golf cart, etc were super easy. We can't wait to come back!! Pura Vida!

Amazing Property, Great for familles

This was our second year in a row to stay at Casa Ola Aloha. We made so many great memories here. The house is perfect for entertaining both adults and kiddos and the management staff is wonderful and responsive. Our kids said they loved waking up to Jeanettes yummy breakfast and swimming in the pool the most.

Absolutely wonderful!

The house had everything we needed to enjoy our 10 day stay! Janet, our housekeeper was fantastic who always went above and beyond and was so kind! Pool was perfect! Beds were comfy and outdoor showers were magnificent!

Pre-Christmas Vacation

Our stay was fantastic!!! House was perfect for our group of 10 and everything was exactly as in the picture. Janette was the best and took great care of us. Highly recommended and we can't wait to come back. Only issue we had was problems with the WiFi the last few days of our stay.

beautiful property in hacienda pinilla

communication with property managers was FANTASTIC! traveling to a foreign country can be tricky to navigate at times so having a team to let us know the options, field questions, and be in frequent communication was great!! it made the vacation much more relaxing and fun.

AMAZING

This house was absolutely perfect!!! We had 2 families of 4 and had plenty of room. Walking distance from the beach and 5 min drive to the beach club. Staff was amazing as well.

Incredible Stay at Casa Ola Aloha

My family and friends and I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Casa Ola Aloha. The home is beautiful (even better than shown in pictures) and had anything you could have ever wanted or needed (example, on the outside patio they had a whole separate silverware and pool cup selection, games and toys and books for kids, etc). The proximity to the beach, beach club, and JW was awesome and allowed us to split our time between the pool and other areas, and it was quiet and serene anywhere we went. 10/10 will stay out of here again.

Amazing property

Had a great time staying here! Place was amazing and outdoor space is spectacular! Just a 3-5 minute walk to private beach. Quiet neighborhood and very safe. Booked private chef from pura vida catering Garrett Hurley and he was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend doing that. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful House

The house was wonderful and exactly as pictured. My kids loved to come back to the warm pool after a long day at the beach. We loved the shade in the back of the house in the afternoons to get a break from the sun but still enjoy the outdoors. The beach that's within walking distance to the house is great for walking on and exploring tide pools. We however spent most of our time at Playa Avellanas as it was better for swimming and surfing.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay in this impeccable home! Our hosts at Vida Pinilla were extremely attentive, checking in several times with us both before & after our arrival. We have rented many homes over the years and this is definitely one of our favourites! Super well equipped kitchen, luxurious bedding & amenities, spotless & all around comfortable! Walking to sunsets on the beach is a wonderful perk! We hope to be back next year! Pura Vida!

Exceptional Stay at Casa Ola Aloha

We had an exceptional stay at Casa Ola Aloha in Costa Rica. Our group of eight had more than enough space, and the home could easily accommodate an even larger group comfortably. The pool and hot tub were a standout—truly a highlight of the stay. The location was ideal, and the overall setting made it easy to fully relax and enjoy time together. Bonus: you are truly a two min walk to the beach. The housekeeper was incredibly kind and a wonderful cook taking care of breakfast every day, which added a special layer to the experience. The home felt clean, comfortable and well cared for. What really set this stay apart was the management through Vida Pinilla. Their responsiveness and attention to detail were extraordinary. We mentioned that the motion-activated lights were being triggered at night by nearby trees, and by the next morning, they had already sent someone out to fix it. It was clear that no detail was too small or too big. For any family or group looking for a relaxing, well-managed getaway, I would highly recommend Casa Ola Aloha and the Vida Pinilla team.

Extraordinary Family Experience

Family of 9 gathered for a celebration of life. Our patriarch passed in January. He was a great adventurer and lover of photography. The house, location and country all added to our time together. Very professional team members, super communication, and service. All of our needs were met and more! The property is gorgeous and extremely well taken care of. What a treat to live there for the week!

Superb experience at Casa Ola Aloha!

We enjoyed everyday of our stay! Great house with most every amenity you could want for a family. The location is perfect… in a gated community with nice neighbors and proximity to a private beach. The house came with spices and seasonings, so don’t buy those at the store. The communication was up to par and their advice was always spot on. Know there is a garage that is full of the owner’s toys/gear, and is tight, so don’t plan on using the garage for your car. We weren’t too bothered by it, even though we used the garage for our main access to the house.
