Amazing Stay

My family and I were completely ecstatic as soon as we walked in the home. Everything was clean and well kept. The instructions for checking in and out were very simple and the host was very responsive, as well as helpful throughout. This is a home we would choose to stay in again.

Awesome place

It is a very nice home and we enjoyed it. It will be our go to for that area. Owner responds very quickly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend.

Nice Place TONS of Parking!

Group of 6 came down for a few days of fishing. The biggest headache is normally parking while towing boats. This house has enough parking for 100 trucks and boats! It was great. The house had plenty of room and we have no complaints. Location was good for us. We would definitely come back and recommend it!

Wedding spot

Overall the property was nice. It provided the accommodations we needed. Definitely a different layout but we made it work. Very Spacious. Only negative, I wished the grass had been mowed.

Good location, but cleanliness was lacking

The location was great and there was plenty of room for our large family, but the cleanliness was poor. There were stains on the chair in the dinning area, dirt and dust in the floors, an awful smell in the kitchen (I think it was a dead mouse under the refrigerator). A few suggestions would be to have seating outside (as there is currently non at all), some putside lights coming in off the highway because it is hard to see at night driving in. Also, there is a huge wasp nest in the kitchen door going outside that needs to be taken care of and removed. If the cleanliness and other issues were addressed, we would be glad to stay again as the space available and the games (ping pong, darts and pool) were a great touch! or somethin

Thanks for your review. We will look into getting more outdoor space and lighting on the drive. The stain on the chair is foam insulation and won’t remove. I found the source of the smell. The water heater was leaking and caused the flooring to smell. This has been addressed and taken care of. Hope we can accommodate you in the future.

good space, location

The location and space of this rental were perfect for our family and the beds were comfy. When we walked in there was a strong air freshner smell. We found plug ins in almost every room. Since our family deals with allergies & asthma, we unplugged all of them. Then we knew why they used plug ins, there was a lingering cigarette smoke smell in the house. The linens and towels seemed to be clean, but many other parts of the house were not.....floors were dirty, food left in air fryer, spill left un wiped on dining.chair, lots of fruits flies, air filter was incredibly overdue to be changed. I did not receive check in info until I asked for it. This house had some neat updates, the upstairs room was nice, but then other areas that looked like a rush job.

Sorry that you had any inconvenience with your stay. We have been a smoke free accommodation since opening the house for stays. The spill on the dining chair is actually permanent spray foam, not anything that can be cleaned. I usually send the door code at noon of the check in day, since check in is at 3:00. You sent the message for the code at 9:30 am. This just ensures that we don’t have people showing up with cleaning crew still there. We’ll look at your suggestions and try to make changes to better serve guest in the future.

I've been coming to Guntersville fishing for several years and by far this has been the nicest place I've stayed. Parking 3 boats was no trouble and close to several boat ramps. They were 6 of us and had room for more to stay. We all so enjoyed the pool table to unwind after dinner. I would recommend this place to any one that is looking to stay at Guntersville, and the host was very through and I hope to rent this place again. Awesome stay!!
