Charming 3BR, 1.5BA beachfront cottage with multi-level decks

Enjoy spectacular sunsets and private beach access from this waterfront cottage overlooking Casco Bay. This charming cottage is full of character and offers a comfortable living space, kitchen with all the necessities, three bedrooms, and washer/dryer. Enjoy expansive water views while sipping on your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail from the upper and lower decks. The pebbly beach below is ideal for sunning, swimming, exploring tide pools and canoeing/kayaking.

Inside the cottage, you'll find a galley kitchen with all you need to cook a delicious Maine meal, a dining room table for 6, and a living room with cable TV that opens to the multi-level decks. Upstairs you'll find a full bathroom with shower/tub combo and a single sink, a bedroom with a queen, a bedroom with a queen and twin bunkbed, and a master bedroom with a king and ocean views. The washer and dryer are located in the basement area.

Use this lovely, comfortable cottage as your home base while you discover the peace and quiet of Casco Bay's rocky shoreline, picturesque coves and nature at its most glorious. Then come back to spend relaxing evenings, starting with spectacular sunsets from your own little slice of Maine's coastal heaven!

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very cute and the view is gorgeous. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we needed a place in the area.

The views are incredible and our kids loved going down to the water at low tide. We have been coming to Harpswell for years - it is such a magical place! We had an issue where the washing machine ruined some of our clothes and would have liked a heads up that it could have happened, but other than that we had no issues.

Excellent location, home was nicely decorated.the decking could use some updateing and the 2 smaller bedrooms had mattresses that were terrible,way to soft and no box spring.

relaxing ocean cottage

My family and I enjoyed exploring Harpswell and getting to know Maine's beautiful mid-coast. The cottage has stairs that lead directly to a quiet, protected beach, where we found sand dollars and hermit crabs. The house is clean and comfortable.

Beautiful view

We had a good time wonderful views of the ocean. Harder to access the ocean than what I thought and living room couches not comfortable . Overall we had a good time ,clean and well furnished litchen

Good stay nice property.

This place is comfy and has a great view. Fees were very high, almost doubling the rental fee. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay.

The home was in a nice quiet area and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was friendly with rental agency, very accommodating. The home does not have a/c, temps were good for our week, it did get a little warm which could be a issue for some during hotter days. We enjoyed our trip to Maine and look forward to visiting again.

Very relaxing with great biews

What a wonderful location with great views. Very peaceful and relaxing. The house is perfect for any size family. You are far enough away from everything to feel secluded, but close enough to everything in Brunswick. Plenty of food options all around on the islands or in town. The views from the deck and beach are amazing. We love Maine, and this has been one of our favorite locations so far. - Brandon, Lauren, and Brooks-Myrtle Beach,SC

Cove Side Vaccination

My family and I loved the cottage and the decks overlooking the water. My grandson really enjoyed swimming in the ocean. The layout of the house was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook and eat with. The views from the living room and master bedroom were amazing! My husband was happy there was an outdoor grill. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting Harpswell again next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has the most picturesque setting. We woke up in the mornings and went kayaking almost every day (kayaks ours). Even though it was a rainy week, we loved sitting inside and watching the ocean and then outside on the deck whenever possible. The grill works great and make the nights we wanted to cook easy. The kitchen is very well stocked for a rental. A lovely week! Do be sure to bring your own water as the listing says. That's the only downside but it's really not a big deal and there is always a little water at the house to start you off.

Property needs an overall update. Best part of the property was the view. No firepit, curb appeal was nonexistent, washer/dryer down treacherous stairs in the basement, couches need replaced/cleaned. The whole thing needs some huge TLC

We observed the hermit crabs and enjoyed the water. We were disappointed that the Adirondack chairs were all broken, but made do with the chairs on the level above.One point though: beware of the step going into the back bedroom. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Thanks for another great stay.

Maine Waterfront Getaway

We would rent here again. The property has fabulous vistas from MBR and LR, and has a beach on this inlet cove. Bring water shoes since it is a little rocky. During our early July stay the nights were cool and there was no need for AC, which is missing in a lot of Maine rentals including this one, but they've got fans which we did not need to use. The kitchen is very well appointed, everything that you need to cook, two coffee pots, regular drip and pods, lobster steamer. (But easier to go to Erikas which is a few miles down the road). Plenty of decks to sit out and enjoy the sun and ocean breezes. The cove is shallow and protected. The property is cozy and well maintained. Master KIng Bed was very comfortable and great views and sunsets from bed!! TVs upstairs and downstairs. Location is great, about 20 minutes to Brunswick. The Vrbo listing does not show how close the neighbors' homes are, do not expect isolation. This rental would be great for family with kids since water is shallow until you get out pretty far. Watch for ants. Couch needs to be recovered. Otherwise no issues. It has washer and dryer which we did not need to use. Internet service was great. Highly recommend the linen service-came with plenty of towels and uber crisp clean linens. Wish we had a longer stay - I did not want to leave!!! --Catherine from Maryland

Found lacking.

The house itself is a nice house. What I found unsatisfactory was the fact that after I made the final payment and in the instructions for staying was the fact that we would have to buy our own paper products if needed. What was left at the house was 1-ply - that’s gross - this house is renting out at a decent rate where the owner could have a supply of decent paper products. Also, we may need to buy drinking water?- we did, but honestly pay for a Culligan service so that’s ready to go - we shouldn’t need to check any website everyday to see if the water is ok to drink. We had to make our own beds when we got there, no towels in the bathroom, that should have been ready to go. Then I went down to do laundry and there were two dead mice in front of the dryer. One was under the basket, I left him under the basket and moved the other one to the side on top of a paper towel that I hoped you would spot. Used dryer sheets on the floor and shelf. The cleaner should have noticed that stuff and cleaned it up. I think the paper products and water issue, should be divulged in the initial description, so we can have a choice in whether we want to do that or not. I didn’t appreciate not knowing that until the time I was given the address.

Upstairs bathroom smelled, found the tub mat thrown in the closet two days later which was the problem of the stench. Also queen size bed in room next to bathroom was found to have a broken frame.
