Our Newest 2024 Property, Welcome to Hack's Lakefront Hideway @ Newton Lake. Located just 15 mins from Elk Mountain Ski Resort, depending on the snow! Enjoy almost 1700sf and your own .29 acre lot with 100’ of waterfront. Take off right from your own personal dock and kayak or paddle board the day away! BBQ on your lakeside deck, read lakeside, take a nap or FISH THE DAY AWAY in the well-stocked PRIVATE 139 acre Newton Lake. Catch large/small-mouth bass, pickerel, trout, walleye, catfish, black bullhead and more. So pack your bags and head to the lake for a dream

This Lakefront Home has EVERYTHING!!! Complete with 4 bedrooms, 2 Full baths, an Open Floor Plan and Amazing views from every window. Pet Friendly as well with a small 100.00 fee per pet, per stay, with prior approval. We ONLY allow Dogs and a limit of 2 per stay. Dogs MUST be crated when left in the home alone.

The First Floor hosts the Main Suite/Bedroom 1 with a King Bed and is complete with Full Private Bathroom inside the Suite with a Tiled Shower, a Large Mirrored Vanity, a 55" Smart TV and Closet Organizer System.

Bedroom 2 is upstairs with GREAT views of Newton Lake and has a Queen Bed, Ceiling Fan, Closet and LED Mirror and Sink for getting ready.

Bedroom 3 and 4 are a Large Split Bedroom upstairs that utilize One Entrance, meaning you walk through Bedroom 3 to get to Bedroom 4. This room boasts a Queen Bed on one side, and a Trundle Bed with 2 Single Beds on the other. This is a perfect Kids room or family room and also has an LED Mirror and Sink, Ceiling Fan and Closet.

Bathroom 2 is a Full Bathroom located just inside the Main Entryway to the house and just off the Kitchen. Bathroom 2 contains an LED Mirrored Vanity and Sink with Tiled Shower.

The Lodge sleeps 8 most comfortably, but we have also had kids sleep on the couches, or in tents in the yard, so please reach out if you have a larger guest count.

You have multiple heating sources with the Gas Fireplace and the Geothermal Heat and Air Conditioner System takes care of the whole house!! You will always be warm and cozy especially with the Coffee Bar located in the Living Room. Another 55" Smart TV is in the living room for you to connect to your Streaming Apps and watch the pre-loaded TV channels.

Newton Lake is a private, well-stocked quiet lake that allows power boats, fishing, swimming, canoeing, etc. There is a small beach with sand at one end of the lake that locals can use as well as any Newton Lake guests.

We currently have 2 Kayaks with paddle, and 2 Inflatable Paddle Boards with paddles at the property for your use. Also available are multiple fishing poles with lures, bobbers, bait bucket, hooks along with 6 life jackets, for kids too. We always recommend bringing your own life jackets sized specifically for your kids. Unfortunately, there is NO public launch for your boat.

There is also Firepit lakeside for you to enjoy Smore's and family time next to the dual docks you can use. We try and supply wood when available, but you can also buy FIREWOOD from locals roadside or grocery/convenient stores.

Many local farms also have roadside stands where you can buy milk and all locally grown organic eggs, vegetables, fruits, honey and more!!

Your Lakeside Patio Deck Is the actual "Heart" of the home as this is where you will spend MOST of your time. Deck has a NEW Gas Propane Grill overlooking the lake! Grill is direct connected to gas, so no tanks needed. There is a sitting area by the lake made out of stone and also a fire pit to sit by the fire lakeside at night.

Save money and Do all your cooking at home in the FULL Kitchen. House has 2 Refrigerators, one in Kitchen and one in the exterior Storage Room if needed.

PARKING - There are 2 spots on the Garage Driveway and a large grass lot on the side of the garage that can hold a couple more cars. Lake properties always have issues with parking.

Winter guests, you need a 4x4 vehicle on some of these unpaved country roads. Enjoy Ice Fishing, SnowMobiling and World Class Skiing is just 15 minutes to Elk Mountain Ski Resort! You cannot beat the location of this cabin if you're looking for time on the slopes or some GREAT Ice Fishing. We do supply fishing poles, lures, tackle, and Bait bucket. Lake is FULL of Pickerel, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass and tons of Perch and Crappie.

If you want to Ice Fish, but dont know how, we have local Fisherman that may come over for a fee.

PA fishing license website is fishandboat dot com. Licenses are required as Game Warden is at the lake weekly to ensure it remains a pristine fishery.

Believe us when we say - Hack's Lakefront Hideaway is a can't miss for a lakefront getaway. We do allow Dogs for a 100.00 fee per dog, and it goes without saying to pick up your dog's mess. If you are going to be out of the property and Dogs left alone, we would want Dogs to be crated. Inquire before booking if you have any questions.

This property does not have an EV charging station. Charging of EVs is not allowed without prior approval and charging fee’s. 4x4 vehicles are a must in Winter!!

Typical minimum night stay is 5, but please contact us if you have a shorter stay as we have cancellations and can accommodate shorter stays. We do accept longer than 30 day rentals which require a Lease to be signed for every 30 day stay, and also Seasonal Rentals 3-4 months long. Inquire with us.
