**PLEASE NOTE** In the event of inclement weather, an all-wheel drive (AWD) or 4x4 vehicle is required, so please plan accordingly. While snow chains may be necessary, we strongly recommend an AWD vehicle for snowy conditions. There is a flashing light at the base of the mountain that will alert you to use caution! We recommend Raysweather.com for the most accurate weather in the area.

perfect!

We went during winter break to snowboard at Beech, and boy were we NOT disappointed with this property. The location is fantastic, a quick 6 minute drive to the slopes. Roads always plowed and treated. Ample space inside, more than enough beds and rooms. My wife loved the comforters so much she looked up the brand and bought some for our home. Sherrie was great as well, no complaints. Hopefully we can come back in the near future

Great location but not what we expected

-Location was great and quiet-As soon as we checked in my daughter walked up super steep stairs to the master loft (that has no shower/tub) and immediately slipped on the 2nd step because the front of the step was loose/falling off. I immediately (4:30pm) messaged the host to let them know. The next morning I received a reply that they were sending a handyman. Then another message that their brother in law would fix it. We checked out, 3 days later, and the step was still not fixed. -The spiral staircase down to the bottom floor was so small it felt dangerous to walk down for my entire family. There’s a bedroom, full bathroom and the washer and dryer are down there. -Had I known about the 2 sets of unsafe stairs beforehand I wouldn’t have stayed and will choose another home next time

Amazing if you want to be close to the slopes!!!

Loved the stay here. Will definitely return to this property for skiing or to escape and relax! Only complaint is the steep stairs to loft, okay for a younger crowd to stay up there! Everything you need is on main level besides laundry room! Overall great experience 5/5!

Perfect Mountaintop Cabin!

We came in for a quick 2 night stay and some skiing at Beech Mtn. The home was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids are practically grown (22-19-17) and none of them had any complaints. The loft master bedroom was cozy. The kitchen was stocked really well. The gas fireplace was great on a snowy afternoon for my wife and daughter to read by while the guys hit the slopes. We will definitely try and book again.

Deceptive and possible scam

Beware! “Sherri” or “Jessica”- the property host is listed as “Sherri” however “Jessica” will communicate- or lack- there of with you. This person will send you a message stating they will send you the arrival information 2 days prior. In fact, I did not receive it until 36 minutes after my booking time had begun. It only becomes more apparent that this is a money- grab. My husband and I did our due diligence in researching properties to ensure we did not book something requiring a AWD or 4WD Vehicle, as our family cannot afford a vehicle large enough for the 6 of us with this option. We saved for this trip, only to be messaged at 4:36EST (confirmed through my email of this requirement due to Vrbo messages not being time stamped- again, after our scheduled arrival time began) that this property requires AWD or 4WD to access the property during inclement weather (that was currently occurring). They refused cancellation after the misleading (intentional or not) advertisement and left our family having to search for a new place to stay in the middle of the mountain- at a less than desirable gas station in the night hours for quite some time. We were essentially homeless with our special needs 5 year old, and having to find excuses as this for a something our children thought Santa brought them. We found a place another hour away from the gas station only to pay another 6 hundred dollars that now places us in a financial situation with our bills this month. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!
