Pet Friendly Dory A Townhomes-Beachfront-Free Daily Activities!

Dory A, a lovely pet friendly two story townhouse located directly on the Gulf. The 3 bedroom townhome on the East end has a lot of space. It features a garage where you can pull right up to the door. The first story has a laundry area, garage, storage area, and screened-in back porch along with access to the beach. The second story includes the living room with a balcony overlooking the beach, the dining room, bar, kitchen, guest bedroom, and guest bath. The third floor has the other guest bedroom, bathroom, and master bedroom with balcony overlooking the beach. Granite countertops and stainless appliances are included in the fully equipped kitchen which has a multi-cup coffee pot, blender, and k-cup maker, and washer and dryer. There are custom wood stairs and tile throughout. The 3 bedrooms include one king, two queens, and one sofa sleeper. There are 2 full baths with an additional vanity room in the master. The balconies have gorgeous views of the gulf. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and cable Tv in all rooms. The linens and towels are provided along with an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, and trash bags.
This property is nearby to NAS and Corry Field. Shopping areas and restaurants are within just minutes of driving time. While there are no outside amenities at this complex, you do have direct beach access to one of the lower density beaches on the island. If you're looking for a true "home away from home," this is your place!

Charming pet-friendly townhome on the beach!

This was our second year in a row staying at the Dory for spring break. This year we stayed in unit A and last year stayed in unit D, both are perfect accommodations for our family. We especially love having the screened in sunroom with direct access to the beach and balconies on the main level and primary bedroom. The ocean view is fantastic! This was a great place to stay with our small dogs; none of the furniture or flooring smelled like pets. Everything in the condo is light and breezy. Key Property was great to work with and very responsive to my texts. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

Nice vacation

Overall had a nice stay. Cleanliness was adequate but could have been better. Couch had previous dog’s fur and scratches and dust bunnies in a few spots. Beach umbrella was completely broken. Neighbor property put their rental chairs and umbrellas on this property’s beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in the Dory A 3 times and have truly enjoyed the unit. Beautiful views from top floor balcony and plenty of room for your family to spread out. Housekeeping was the only issue: when we arrived in the past everything was very clean. This time it needed improvement. There was hair all in the main floor bathroom shower and tub. The dishes were very dirty. Pans under stove was covered in thick crumbs and stove top was dirty. The living room rug had huge stains and there were not pillow cases on some of the pillows on the beds. We were suprised since our previous stays have been perfect. Overall its a great stay and great location. Provides a pet friendly private option that is quiet and peaceful. Would stay again but housekeeping needs some work.

Property in Disrepair and Rental Company Is Terrible

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in the area for more than 20 years, and Key Concepts is hands-down the worst company we have ever dealt with. We tried to contact them about the single vent in one bedroom not supplying any air conditioning, numerous handles to doors being extremely loose (including the exterior front door), light bulbs out throughout the condo, no working remotes, etc. We called them, replied to their automated text messages, and used their emergency number for the A/C issue. No response until four days later, where they claimed they would come the following day but then didn’t. The property is dingy, and there are numerous things in disrepair. About the only positive I can offer is that the location is good. But we would never come back to this place again.

We're sorry that [in your opinion] you had a less than desirable experience with our company. Fortunately, many other guests(and owners) love all that we do for them, as we strive to go above and beyond what they expect. Hence, the numerous 5 Star reviews we have previously received. To address your claims: You checked in late afternoon on Saturday and were immediately not happy with the lighting in the unit. Therefore, we had maintenance come to the unit shortly after your arrival and change all the changeable lightbulbs to daylight bulbs to satisfy you. On Sunday, you texted (we didn't have any voicemails) and stated there were loose door handles, a BA door that wouldn't lock, and the AC wasn't blowing enough in the BR [that happens to be the farthest room away from the air handler]. Since we are closed on Sunday and none of the items you listed were deemed an emergency, we waited to contact you until the office was open again. We then emailed you stating that we had contacted the AC company to investigate the issues you stated, we also offered to have maintenance come out again and investigate/repair the other issues you listed. Unfortunately, you never responded to our emails or texts, therefore, we were not able to make arrangements to correct any issues you claimed. Furthermore, we have no idea why you say our listing isn't accurate, as it is exactly as it is shown on our website and on other rental sites. As other potential guests read your review and our response, we hope they will consider all of the other 5 star reviews we have received and they are aware that no matter what we do, there will always be at least one person that we will not make happy, regardless of our efforts.

Good location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfect for us, kitchen was well equipped, rooms are good size, and the view from the master bedroom was amazing. However, this is not a place if you are boujee. It is a comfortable lived in condo. There is some maintenance issues. The sliding glass door needs a lock on main floor. The upstairs sliding glass door if you can open it it takes two people to close it. Do not use the iron. (it ruined my shirt). And when it rains a lot, rain comes in the home down the wall at the sliding glass door. Also if you have elderly or babies just walking with you there are lots of step stairs. We will stay here again !!!! But i will bring my own iron. lol

First time at a pet friendly place

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Dory (A) townhouse. When we arrived the place smelled of bug spray. One of our rooms had brown stuff all over the walls and mold around the ac vent. The floors still had sand on them. We could not let our cocker spaniel sit in the sun room alone because the screened door was busted (screens were not in tack and there was no lock latch on it. The garbage can in the laundry area had beer cans and trash in it. The dryer lint catcher was full. There were huge water roaches you had to run from. The last night there ants started crawling out of the upstairs bedroom vent and falling into our bed!!!!!! Will not stay here or at least not in (A) again! O and we were only given 2towels for each of our stay so we had to wash them over and over. It was 5 adults.! Easy walk to the beach, their beach umbrella was held together with duct tape, so we had to buy our least the bed sheets were clean.
