The master bedroom features a king bed with private balcony access and beach views! There are two additional bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate your remaining guests. Every bedroom features flat-screen TVs, making them the perfect places to relax after a day in the sand.

A fantastic setup. We arrived, entered the code, pulled in the private garage and went in the condo. The sight out the sliding glass doors in the living room was stunning. Being a six unit building made it feel like home not a hotel. The master bedroom has a veranda with an unmatched view and with the waves crashing, we enjoyed deep and relaxing sleep. The beach is literally 100 steps from the backdoor. We will be back!!!! Oh yeah and our dog Mookie loved it

We were extremely pleased with our condo's location. The short walk to the beach was a significant plus, and the private beach setting allowed us to position our canopy close to the water without encountering any issues. Nevertheless, we did discover some unwanted kitchen critters, which could probably be prevented with regular pest control treatments. But overall we had a great time and enjoyed staying at this condo.

We had a really nice time at this rental. The location was convenient, and being right on a private beach for the condo made things easy. My wife and I got to relax, and the kids enjoyed themselves too. It was a great spot for a family trip.

It was our annual girls work trip to end the summer and it was fun! Even though it rained we made the best of it!! Awesome property!!

Perfect getaway home

We stayed at Dory condos for a family vacation. It was nicely decorated and exactly as shown in listing. It’s close to everything you need. Restaurants, grocery, short 5 minute drive to Flora-Bama and OB. The beach was steps away from downstairs screened porch which was great for leaving beach gear. There was a water hose on porch to clean your feet! Loved having a garage and never had an issue with parking! Will definitely stay here again. Very quiet to be on the Main Street!

Great Family Stay

We stayed four nights on a family vacation and loved it. There was plenty of room for our family of five and two dogs. Great location and loved being on the beach.

Just what I needed. Down time

The townhouse was what we expected. Close to the beach and we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet and uncrowded it was. We were located just right to visit towns on both sides of us to shop and eat. Put a few small tables on the balconies and it would be great!!

It would be very helpful for some of us to have hard copy info on rules, etc. in condo. Use of Portal only for some of us is very cumbersome. Also checkout by text would be much easier. When unit has already been cleaned, early check in would be helpful.

Great Place!

The unit is very well located. Beautiful view. The unit floor design is great. Good for 2 families. The unit was very clean. One downside was the access to the internet. The network was on and off every night. Should change the provider or equipment. Thank you

Needs some attention

This property is nice and overall clean but it has some drawbacks. The downstairs bedroom is very small with no closet and the adjacent bath is the same. The kitchen area is tiny and as the limited cabinets were full of dishes, there is no where to put food. There were no mixing bowls, no measuring cup and the pans were old and scratched. Definitely plan on bringing your own pizza pan, cookie sheet and other necessities. The condo does allow pets but be aware that there is literally NO where for the dog to potty. The dunes outside are "protected" and the beach is not open to dogs. I tried to take my dog out to the area adjacent to the parking lot and he got horrible sticky thorns in his paws and fur. There is a narrow, winding path that leads to the beach but it is difficult to traverse, especially with a cart. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and nice and the living/dining area is great as well. Bearing these things in mind and bringing dishes to supplement, this condo could be nice for a small family....probably best to leave Fido at home.

Lovely Location on the Gulf

The location of Dory #E could not have been better. Having the dunes just outside the balcony was more than perfect! And very close to restaurants and stores so didn't have to drive far for whatever we needed. We could see that good changes are being made to the condo. The new paint was obvious and gave it a fresh feel. The beds were VERY comfortable and the rooms each had individual style. The upgrades, like the screened in porch, will add space and lots of charm. It seemed a bit small, though, for sleeping 10 people. We had 6 adults so seemed tight. Family with young kids, though, it would be great. The kitchen was not super....it was Thanksgiving so we did A LOT of cooking. But it definitely would be a location we would go back to. Location. Location. Location. Couldn't have been better. Thank you!!

My stay

There was no light in the sunroom which made it difficult to sit out there in the evening. The thermostat was confusing to figure out and the furnace wouldn’t turn on when it was very cold at night. There’s a lot of stairs at the condo so it may not be good for anyone who has arthritis or pain.

Great Unit / Poor Management

We absolutely loved this condo. It’s in a great location with awesome beach access. The unit was spacious and very clean. On the day of our arrival after driving for 8 hours and having 2 dogs we were ready to relax. The door code that we were sent by Southern Vacation Rentals was incorrect. I understand things happen. So we called the number we were given, no answer. We called the 24 hour number we were given, no answer. We texted the texting number we were given, no answer. We drove to the location of the office, no answer. Luckily the people in the condo beside us said hello and asked us if we were having trouble. Long story short they lived there and knew the owners of our condo. So the neighbor called the owner and she gave him her code for us to use. By the time we got into the condo we had been outside trying to contact someone at southern vacation rentals for over 2 hours. Thank goodness for the amazing neighbors. Once inside we got ready and went to dinner. 4.5 hours later I got a text back from southern vacation rentals that said “we are sorry for the inconvenience are you sure you entered the code correctly?” You have no idea how irritated I was with southern vacation. However this is a management issue, not a owner/condo issue. The condo and owner were amazing!!! So I just say if you stay here you’ll definitely love the condo. Beware of Southern Vacation Rentals and their glacial pace at responding.

Wonderful

The stay was great. Awesome for me and my family. The stairs were fun get your exercise in. Place was clean and tidy. We did brought some of our own trash bags, soap, hair blower dryer, dish soap as advise. The stay exceeded our expectations. Walking distance right off to the beach and not crowded. Excellent communication. We did have hiccups with the main door entrance where the lock would unlock but the door frame was the issue (wouldn’t let us in). Quick response and resolution. Thank you for a pleasant stay. We would stay again.

Great Location, but issues with property

Been to Dory several times before, but stayed in this unit only once. Main door key code didn’t work and finally got in after code was reset multiple times. Door never worked properly. Reported but not fixed. Air conditioning was not working properly & maintenance came and fixed. Dryer didn’t work, knob was stripped. Great location and overall nice place to stay. Southern Vacation was hard to contact for issues. Be mindful of beach goers from condos across the street - they take over Dory beach access, so setup early.
