Now ready to host larger groups, this amazing 7 bedroom ocean view property is surrounded by jungle with monkeys visiting daily.Enjoy a dip in your private pool, head to the beach or an hike around our renowned national park.

With 150mg WIFI you can even work poolside with the iguanas, monkeys, butterflies and the oodles of other wildlife surrounding you. This superb property is very secluded and quiet allowing you to relax in Paradise.

Located in a private development that backs on to our renowned National Park, Casa del Sol is a Nature Lovers Dream! With a superb upper ocean view deck and a wonderful outdoor kitchen, living and dining areas pool side, this wonderfully equipped villa offers a peaceful, animal filled get-away for a group of friends or family.

Casa del Sol is located in the private development of Colina Monitos, tucked away in the jungles of Manuel Antonio, this villa is extremely safe.

On the main level of the villa there are 5 bedrooms:

Master Suite 1, King bed with private bathroom
Master Suite 2, Queen bed with private bathroom
Master Suite 3, Queen bed with private bathroom
Bedrooms 4 & 5 with shared bathroom


Head down to the lower level via the large internal stairwell and you'll find your cozy kitchen, dining area and large living area, complete with 60" smart TV. A perfect space for gathering to retell stories of the day's explorations.

Also on this level there is a laundry room with pool bathroom and bedrooms 6 & 7 with a shared bathroom. These rooms have private entrances but also have a connecting door. The shared bathroom is accessible via bedroom 6.

Disconnect and unwind by the pool with the sounds of nature. Enjoy the quiet and peaceful tranquility as you completely unplug in nature's paradise.

COVID CLEANING POLICY
We operate special protocols during the pandemic and the villa is closed for 24 hours prior to check in and post check out. All surfaces and equipment - tv remotes etc - are cleaned with organic sanitizer and all floors cleaned with bleach then alcohol. All staff wear masks at all times.

Animal lovers!

The stay went great, the house is spacious for family and friends traveling together. The best part in my opinion is the backyard. We saw 2 types of monkey families, iguanas, lizards, and even toucans! so much wildlife in the morning. my daughter got to see her favorite monkeys from the comfort of the pool! communication with the concierge was great.

Great Property

I have stayed in Manuel Antonio 5 times now over the last 10 years and this home is one of the best. We prefer to stay on Colina Monito as there is always an abundance of wildlife to view. This home provides exceptional views with plenty of room for family and friends without feeling crowded. What makes this home even better is the staff in charge with your stay, the concierge is top notch as well as the cleaning staff. They go above and beyond! You wont be disappointed.

An Absolute Gem for Our Group of 7

This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we've ever stayed in. It was perfect for our group of seven adults. Everyone was able to have their own room. The property is simply gorgeous, perfectly perched on the edge of Manuel Antonio park and convenient to all the restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The views are fantastic. Air conditioning provided throughout is a nice perk. The housekeeping staff were wonderful. Seriously we enjoyed every minute of our stay here.We highly recommend this property!

Amazing house, staff, and location

Only had 3 nights at this beautiful house and so wish we could have stayed longer. Quiet neighborhood with an amazing view and we couldn’t beat all the wildlife we saw right outside our door. The chef service was incredible and the food was so tasty. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, ready to book an excursion Or day trip at the drop of a hat. Would love to come back one day!

Amazing host, place is newly upgraded with all amenities, great for large party... Especially friends and family with kids. Place is little but difficult to drive to- it's on a narrow steep hill. Host and concierge are available to help you.

Nature Lovers Paradise

We absolutely loved everything about this home. It was clean, had a great flow, a well-equipped kitchen, great beds and modern bathrooms, a lovely pool, and a great view. Every day we saw a new animal. We saw monkeys, toucans, iguanas, hummingbirds a cute racoon and another costrrican animal that looked like a racoon and ant eater. The night sky was amazing and we saw shooting stars and could hear the ocean when it was quiet. The concierge was very helpful and the cleaning people were trustworthy and very consistent in tidying up which was a real joy. The house is located centrally so all of the best Quepos has to offer is only a short drive. We also enjoyed Mt. Park and the small grocery store and neighborhood Soda the Happy Pig up the Road, which was within walking distance. Lots of space and plenty of beds. I highly recommend it for a family or group of friends who are looking for a nice home to rent and enjoy the area. We will be back!

Great Option for Big Groups

We just returned from our 6th trip to Costa Rica, it never fails to disappoint. Casa del Sol was a great option for our group of 8(2 families of 4 with 2 16 yo & 2-20 yo. The house was spacious enough for everyone to have their own rooms & each bedroom had air. The main rooms did not have air conditioning, but had ceiling fans everywhere & even on the hottest days, we were comfortable. The driveway was a bit steep,but the local taxis had no issue making their way to the house. For larger tour buses, we walked down to meet. The House manager (Amy) and the Concierge (Debby) were extremely responsive and helped us organize a wonderful week. The maintenance man was available to address any issue that we had in the house while we were there. The housekeeper kept the house tidy while we were there and was helpful in making sure we had beach towels. We had a Chef for the week who came to prepare Dinner daily and prepared us local Tico meals - each dinner was better than the last and the desserts were absolutely amazing. Debby helped us with tours - such as Whitewater Rafting, ATV and a Catamaran tour. She also helped us organize a mother/daughter spa afternoon & with taxis to get us wherever we needed to go. The house is centrally located so the drive time to tours,beaches and town were quick and there were tons of markets close by. We spent time in the late afternoons floating in pool and were treated to visits by Toucans, Iguanas, Monkeys and even a Coati one evening.

Nice House. Attentive Host. Steep Driveway and road

I booked this for a stay with family and friends. There were 9 of us. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. As in many areas around there, the roads are steep and narrow, so not fun for those who aren't used to driving in these areas. Luckily several of our tours would pick up from the villa.Pros:* Plenty of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms* Host was nice and responsive* Air Conditioners in bedrooms worked well* Cleaning staff was good * Good water pressure* Plenty of towels* Large refrigerator, plenty of dishes, and glasses* Blender, Coffee Maker, Toaster all nice* Good water pressure and hot water* The have a large bottled water dispenserCons:* Pool was much smaller than photos indicated.* Living spaces smaller than expected. I think they used wide-angle lens for making spaces look larger* Tricky drive and road to get there. Host was helpful.* No conditioner. Only head and shoulders shampoo* No spices (except Salt and pepper shaker on table)* No coffee or oil (as the listing stated)* Nails and weeds in the outside area by the pool* Some bedrooms had lack of privacy with weird wrap-around interior windows that you could see in to even with the shades down. Weird to have windows in bedrooms going into interior spaces.* Some of the remodel made for weird situations, like the outlet situated directly behind the faucet in one of the bathrooms.Overall, not a bad place to stay, but I think I had different expectations based on the photos.

Best place we could have asked for

This was an amazing property. We were so close to everything, but also had some great privacy! Though we didn’t see any, we could hear monkeys every morning. We bird watched in the mornings and got to see toucans, macaws, and several other birds! The pool was clean and such a great break each day. Having the kitchen downstairs made this paradise to host our family/friend group. Our concierge Esteban was amazing! One of our teens broke a bed on accident, Esteban had someone out to fix it quickly! We hired the chef for a few meals, which was an amazing experience with wonderful food. The bed situation is helpful, and all of the rooms have AC. Overall, this was the best experience we could have had! We would absolutely go back, and stay here again! Thanks!

Perfect location for Costa Rican vacation!

I'm a vacation rental owner and let's just say this is not only the perfect spot for a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica but Amy is absolutely the best property manager ever!! The pool was gorgeous, Amy arranged the most wonderful private chef to cook for our family as well as several other excursions. Just a wonderful place to be!! It's my third time to visit Costa Rica and things have changed in the 20 plus years I've traveled there but one thing has not and that is the hospitality from the Costa Ricans and the lovely people that live there. Cheers Amy and we hope to see you again someday!

Beautiful property near Manual Antonio

The property was very clean and slept all six of us comfortably. The grounds were amazing with tropical plants and trees all around. We seen monkeys almost every day and many birds. Toucans and Macaw flyovers were common also.. A little difficult to find but once there it’s a very pleasant place to stay close to everything you need. Would definitely stay there again.

Great house for 2 families that want to see monkeys!

Casa del Sol is a perfect villa for families with kids. The pool was fun for early morning and late swims. The concierge service was wonderful! She was so helpful with making arrangements and was so responsive. The neighborhood and road to driveway was very narrow so we utilized taxis at night instead of our rental car. Lots of sounds of nature and the opportunity to see it right from the Villa.

Beautiful house with nice ocean view

The house was very nice, very comfortable and well located to travel (car) to nearby beaches, specially the National park (must go: Its Paradise) wich is not far from the house. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean from the pool and the upper floor. Service from staff that in our case included a concierge and cleaning was excellent. One of it's best features. I will definitely recommend the house for a vacation in the area.

Home away from home

This was my first time in Costa Rica and this rental was just about perfect for our family of 10. Mariana, our host/concierge, was so accommodating. If we had any questions or concerns from booking trips to helping us around the rental she was there to help. She was the cherry on top that made our stay so great! The house was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the rainforest. We saw plenty of wildlife such as monkeys in the early morning and various birds throughout the day. The grocery store and some restaurants are about a 10-15 min walk away from the house. The pool was a great way to cool down. Although the kitchen and the living room was set up outside, it was a great set up from keeping the inside clean. Overall, the stay was great.

Nice spacious home, beautiful scenery, loved the pool, need mosquito nets outside

We loved our visit to Costa Rica. Stayed at the house for our entire 9 day trip. The bedrooms were very spacious and worked well for the 9 of us on the trip (we actually had one extra bedroom free downstairs). The kitchen is outside and downstairs and needs to be locked up anytime you leave and at night which was kind of a pain but not a deal breaker. There is no common sitting area in the house except for outside on the deck next to the kitchen. This would have been fine but we got eaten alive by the mosquitos and whatever other bugs there were in the evenings. I highly suggest the owners put up some mosquito nets on the perimeter of the deck so that people can enjoy the sitting area in the evening. Nuria was very helpful, and the maid service was great. The bus is about a 15 or so minute walk from the house. We ended up cabbing it most of the time because it was so hot and we had small kids with us. Speaking of the heat, the house was always so much cooler than the rest of the neighborhood and there was usually a nice breeze. And cooling off in the pool was the best! The pool water was hazy when we got there but Nuria had the water cleaned the next day and it was much better after that!! The zip lining, surf instructors and guided tour through Manuel Antonio Natl Park were all great. We saw a tribe of monkeys in the trees one morning, toucans and other birds, and definitely heard howler monkeys screaming in the early early morning hours on several mornings (so be prepared)! All in all, despite the bugs, we loved our stay and were very happy with the house and would definitely stay here again in the future.
