We offer wet mooring dock access (located about a mile away) for those guest who would like to bring a boat. Kim was amazing! We were planning a trip from South Carolina to coincide with the birth of our second grandchild. The timing was unpredictable, as births can be. Kim was so flexible with us. We were able to give her updates and get a response in a very short amount of time. The house was perfect, thoughtfully-decorated, with comfort in mind. So many short-term rentals have furniture that looks trendy but is not comfy! This house is truly comfortable. The location was convenient to everything we needed, included the neighborhood park within walking distance! We enjoyed walking our dogs in the neighborhood too! This will be our go-to place to stay when visiting our kids and grandchildren!

The Shore House felt like “home away from home” the minute we walked in the door! The house was above and beyond expectations! From the thoughtfully provided amenities to the beautifully decorated and comfortable home. Our hosts responded quickly to any questions. We will definitely return the next time we vacation in the Swansboro-Emerald Isle area! (It’s only a 15 minute drive to Emerald Isle.) We highly recommend vacationing at The Shore House!

This is a wonderful place to stay! The house is perfect—clean, well-decorated, new appliances, and well-furnished. We loved the layout of the house, the screened-in front porch, and the deck. Beds were so comfortable! We would definitely stay here again, and we just might. The neighborhood was quiet and we took walks each day. The nearby playground was also a favorite!

Perfect!

This little house was the perfect house for my sister and myself. It is a beautiful, well-equipped house in a quiet neighborhood. The hostess, Kim, was very welcoming and quick to respond if we had any questions. The house is a short walk to the Swansboro water-front, and a short drive to Hammock's Beach state Park or to the Point in Emerald Isle. Many restaurants and shops are also withing walking distance. Absolutely loved our stay here!

Short Vacation

The property was perfect. Close to Emerald Isle as well as Onslow Beach on Camp Lejuene. We walked to breakfast and Dinner the restaurants in the area were excellent. The home was the cleanest property we have ever visited and anything we needed was in the home. We hope to visit again soon. Excellent!

Great for family vaca

We had a fantastic time at the shore house. It was perfect for our family visit, close to so many family activities, parks, restaurants. Property was so cute and extremely clean/organized. We would absolutely stay at the shore house again

The Perfect Stay in Swansboro

The house on Shore Dr was perfect for our family and dog. The house was very organized and clean. It was very cute. The bedding was excellent and very comfortable. The amenities and location of the house to downtown Swansboro was ideal for walking to dinner or the waterfront where we had access to kayaks/SUP and place to keep our boat. Kim and Jerry were great hosts. We would recommend this place to anyone. John & Lori

Lovely very dog friendly home

We stayed at this VRBO for a week as we celebrated our son’s 20 year military retirement. I was especially impressed with the awesome dog friendly accommodations from the wooden fenced yard area to the doggie bowls and pads supplied. This VRBO is close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would choose this place again if needed. Thanks sooo much for the hospitality!

The Shore House

We did enjoy staying at the Shore House!! We loved the remodeling! You had it well supplied! In fact, I found the iron & used it. Couldn’t find iron board till last day!! We did have unexpected guest. My brother & his son joined us for 2 days, thus I owe you more money! I didn’t get to take the sheet off their beds. My only suggestion for you is in bathroom. I would add a rail to hold on to when getting out of the tub. The towel rack should never be used as rail. We are 75. We are coming Sept 26 for niece’s wedding!! We will probably book it! Thank you! Comfortable family vist

This was the perfect place for a weekend visit with family. Very clean home with everything in its place. Renovated home conveniently located to everything. There is a public park within eyeshot of the driveway. The fenced in back yard is perfect for pets if you have them. The owners were welcoming and flexible with our potentially changing plans.
