Property was good. Would be great for a weekend or shorter stay. A lot of the items were in small quantities toilet paper, paper towels, and soaps so you run out in a couple days and the rest is on you so if you go for a week you need to bring or buy. Everything else was great. View of the ocean was awesome as you see the ocean without all the beach goers. The pool was also very convenient and nice. Location has a lot to do around it while still seeming quiet.

Family Beach Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was clean and very accommodating. We had everything needed to stay comfortably. Very close to the beach and several good restaurants within walking distance. There was plenty of parking. The pool was also great!

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at the Ocean Shores. You had always stayed at another property which was recently sold, and i know you liked the Ocean Drive area. I had hoped that this condo would work for you and your family!! We would love to have you come back next year. Let us know if you want to rebook!! The owners here did an amazing job with renovations here!! Beautiful and relaxing- just want a vacation is meant to be!!

Perfect!

This may have been the cleanest condo I’ve ever stayed in! It was newly renovated and so bright. The listing was spot on and being in a smaller complex, the beach wasn’t as crowded as other areas. 9.5/10 (the only complaint is that the washer/ dryer are way too small for even a small load of towels. But everything else made up for it.

Great Location

Stayed with our family of 5 with youngest being 14 years old. Condo was just as pictured and described. Managing host was friendly, very proactive and easy to work with. Location was within walking to convenience stores, souvenirs, restaurants and SC's best ice cream! We drove to Myrtle Beach 4 times during the week, twice for a dance competition and 2 other times for entertainment. It is a quick and easy drive, but definitely not necessary to leave condo with pool and beach right outside your door!We like the smaller condo buildings due to less crowding. We had the pool mostly to ourselves and sometimes shared with just a few others. Met a couple of owners of a couple of units....very nice and welcoming. Would stay here again.

Great Beachfront Location

You can walk to all the shops, dining and live music Main Street has to offer but are just short drive to Barefoot Landing, outlets & more.The unit is nicely stocked, very clean and cozy. Balcony overlooks the pool which is great for watching the kids while swimming. The sand dunes prevent you from seeing the beach directly in front of you; however it doesn't prevent the breeze nor the roar of the ocean.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book again.

Easter weekend 2025

The place was exactly as advertised. Great location. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Good value. I was surprised that this was a corporate listing. I use VRBO because I like renting from local owners and enjoy the personal touches that come with it. Instead I had to go to a rental office and pick up a key. And the paperwork was more about restrictions and no exceptions than fun things to do in the area. Only one roll of toilet paper and one garbage bag. A couple of K-Cups would have been nice. We were reminded of the commercial highlighting the benefits of staying in a hotel where you’re taken care of throughout your stay. I guess we just missed the personal touches we are accustomed to at other VRBO rentals.

Thank you for the review. We are very sorry to not have met more of your expectations. There is some degree of truth that private owners are likely to have K-Cups and pantry items. We do have some owners that provide them as part of their rental. All in all seems as if you liked the condo but bottom line is we like to please our guests and are sorry if we let you down. The unit inside is accurately described and met our expectations. However, the oceanfront view is deceiving as it is on the first floor and looks directly at the pool and dunes. You cannot see the ocean.

Beach and pool access was perfect from our room, just steps away! Would have been a perfect stay if chairs were accessible for the beach. With traveling it’s hard to bring any we did not want to purchase anything extra. Great stay! Great location. Very clean! We would definitely consider booking again. Lots of shells on the beach! I was surprised!

Overall we were happy with our stay, the kitchen lack a few every use items, but overall happy with the stay. I am hoping they do update the mattress in the master bedroom. It had a coil that poked out when you sat on the edge of the bed and the mattress was also very soft.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the stay was nice. There were too many steps to get to and from the beach. I didn’t care to be directly over the pool, too many people coming off the beach to swim, that were not staying at the condo’s. Also there was was no view of the ocean due to the dunes.
