This one of a kind private 5 acre resort is waiting for you in Rancho Santa Fe. This resort-style atmosphere & the beautiful boho decor make up this masterpiece villa location. All 5 bedrooms are equipped with A/C and 4.5 bathrooms. It's a wonderful place to relax & have some privacy. In addition, the villa's guest suite located with an incredible view of the pool & jacuzzi- provides the perfect getaway feel.

Really beautiful spot and lovely place to stay with so many fun things to do. Though there were a couple of things missing, like reading lamps in the bedrooms we contacted the hosts, and literally all that we needed were overnighted and arrived the next morning. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks for a great stay!

The home is beautifully set for large families/groups to spread out. We cooked every day & loved the kitchen. The kitchen is also well stocked. Outside the kids were never bored & enjoyed ALL the amenities. Any issues we had were addressed promptly & handled. The reason for only 4 stars on cleanliness isn't as much as not being clean, but, the upholstery on all the dining chairs & some other furniture is very stained. All in all, everyone enjoyed the house, property & amenities. We would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely property. Lots of places to relax, the den/tv room is big enough for the family to enjoy together. The host is committed to providing a good experience. For example, I mentioned there were no oven mitts in the kitchen, she ordered them and they were delivered that day!It is as advertised, everything is 20 minutes away (unless you're caught in the rush hour coming back, then it's closer to 35-40 minutes back to the ranch). Overall very pleasant accommodations.

Perfect for our needs

This property worked perfectly for our large group of young adults who were attending a family wedding. Check-in was easy. There was ample space for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the layout of the home provided enough space for people to engage in separate activities. We especially appreciated the large outdoor table that was big enough for us all to sit together during meals. As a family that enjoys cooking together, we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and BBQ area. , The host provided excellent directions for the use of the pool and spa area. - which we used often.

The best property!

We had such an amazing time at this house! There was so much to do there. The kids were outside playing all day and the adults got to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside. The house was very spacious. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Fantastic vacation home!

This was an amazing vacation home - beautiful home and great amenities. Our extended family had a great experience. Everything was absolutely immaculate and exactly as the pictures showed on the VRBO website. We would definitely stay here again. 5 stars!

Wonderful Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this ranch resort! It was the perfect setting for our large family gathering. The property amenities were outstanding — the backyard had everything we could ask for, including a pool, outdoor kitchen, basketball court, putting green, playground, and trampoline. Inside, we loved the ping-pong table, foosball, air hockey, and other games, which kept both our young kids and teens entertained. The kitchen was impressively stocked with all the pots, pans, bowls, and utensils we needed, making it easy to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner. The home is in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again!

Family Vacation

This property was actually better than advertised. Our family loved the home. There were 11 of us, and we were able to sleep everyone comfortably. The home is beautiful and very accommodating for a large group. The activities available made the stay incredible - the pool is outstanding, and there were so many other things to do - shooting pool, putting green, trampoline, bean bags and a whole rec room full of games that we didn't even get to! The kitchen is terrific, and the outdoor kitchen area and bar is awesome. We did have to contact the owner on a few minor issues, but he responded quickly, and all was good. We highly recommend this property.

Better Than The Photos

This house is exactly how it looks in the listing and more...usually not the case with rentals! They had everything you could want during your stay, anticipating your every need. The house is so comfortable and accommodating. It's really quiet; we were very relaxed! There was also so much to do on the property, even in bad weather. This was the best experience I've had in a rental house, and I've rented at least 20. The hosts are also very kind. It's a beautiful area of California. Highly recommend this home!

Dream house - no Barbies

This property looked so incredible online I was a little bit nervous. But it was everything they advertised and more! Absolutely beautiful! So many things to do without leaving the property. We had 8 adults and 7 children, aged 6 months to 9 years and every one of us loved it! We have rented quite a view VRBOs and have never found one so well stocked. Paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, soaps, all the basics were provided. I cannot recommend this highly enough!

Nice House, but Not as Nice as it is described

We enjoyed our time at this home. Located in a quiet, small community, we felt secluded enough that we could play music, and the kids could be kids without feeling like we were disturbing anyone. We knew going into the stay that we were compromising on some of the more resort-like aesthetics and amenities available at other properties for a similar price because there appeared to be a number of kid-friendly activities. With this balanced acceptance of this property’s benefits and lacking in mind, I would say that it mostly met expectations. Yes, there were a lot of options for the kids – game room, trampoline, putting green, swing set, and pool. However, the photos are a little deceptive in that the game room is very much a basic garage and the trampoline is on the tired side. The swing set and putting green are in fine condition. In our four-day stay, the pool was in wonderful working condition for two of the days and we very much enjoyed the size and functionality. When we first arrived, there was some confusion or there may have been something not working properly, either way, it was cold the first day and struggled to achieve a temperature acceptable for adults on the second day (fortunately, the children were undeterred by the chilly temps!)  The host was very responsive and at the start of the second day had someone out early in the morning to take a look and show us how to get the most out of the system. Family Thanksgiving 2023

Our extended family came together to spend a few days over the Thanksgiving holiday spent at this property. Overall, we were pleased with our stay as it accommodated most of our needs - with some caveat. When we arrived during our check-in time, it quickly became clear that the online listing details were not accurate: small things that quickly become big things like connecting Wi-Fi - especially in an area where service is spotty. A big reason our family picked this property was for the kitchen which would provide ample space for us to prepare Thanksgiving meal - only for us to find out the oven was nonfunctional. Also, the property listing called out the availability of an extra fridge in the garage - which was not the case. Communication with the host/property manager was a one-way street - multiple attempts to get a hold of them with no luck. This is unacceptable when you're in the service/hospitality business. It's funny that they were very proactive in reminding me when payments were due for our stay. Again, for the most part, we had a pleasant stay making memories and the best of what we had to work with. But, when you spend upwards of $8K for a 3-night stay, service, communication, and most expectations should be met. And if we didn't want an oven that worked, we could've stayed at a local Residence Inn.

Activities for the whole family

The property included many activities for our family to enjoy. The property provides plenty of space between the living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and especially outdoors. Unfortunately, the internet was down for the majority of our trip. Typically, this would not be an issue for us, but the location has little to no cell service for Verizon. We were unable to watch any TV or movies since all of their TVs require internet connection. Instructions were provided to heat the jacuzzi ahead of check-in, but again, internet was required so the pool system was completely offline. The property manager did not offer an apology and was not proactive about these issues. There was no warning that we would not have wifi/internet or any compensation offered to us for the issues. We weren’t able to use our baby monitor since it requires internet and if we had known ahead of time, we could have brought a different monitor. When I asked the property manager how to turn on the jacuzzi on site, he provided the pool guy’s phone number instead of figuring it out for us. Of course, the pool guy did not answer because he was busy. Once we told the property manager the pool guy did not answer, he texted us the instructions. The property manager showed up unannounced within 30 minutes of our check out time. It was alarming and we have not encountered anything like this with vacation rentals. It was just odd behavior since we were cleaning up and going to leave prior to 10am.

Family reunion

Beautiful home with plenty of outdoor fun. We enjoyed the pool, putting green, cabana and numerous games. The owner even purchased a high chair for my niece!

A Rare Gem

The perfect place for a multigenerational family reunion. Our family of 17 felt relaxed from the moment we stepped through the door. From the pool to the hot tub, the trampoline to the pool table, the basketball court to the putting green, we never even had to leave the property to stay entertained. We feel lucky to have discovered such a wonderful place to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Large and homey

A family of 16 from San Diego and Hawaii felt completely at home. The kids that ranged from 3 to 10 were never bored - from the pool, the playground, the trampoline, and basketball park. We were greeted with a welcome sign and some treats. The entire property was cleaned well. We loved our stay and appreciated Matt’s quick responses to all our inquiries prior to our arrival. Upon our departure, we all agreed our stay would be hard to beat. Thank you for allowing my family come together. We’ve made such great memories.

Just as described. Exceeded all expectations

The property was beyond what we were expecting. Sometimes on-line pictures look better than what you fine when you arrive, not this property. Our family comprised of 2 seniors, 6 additional adults, 2 young men in their early 20's and 3 small children 6-9 years old. One of the primary objectives in finding a family vacation home was to be able to enjoy the on-site recreational amenities, this home exceeded that objective for all members of our family; pool, spa, slide, diving board, putting green, inground trampoline, cornhole, pool table and numerous quiet outdoor and indoor locations to sit read or nap. The other objective was to be close to activites available in the San Diego area. This property was perfect for access to the beach, zoo, wild animal park, sea world, and inter-city resturants and bars. We were close to everything that San Diego provides without being to close to the crowds. The home was very nice and provided everything we needed to feel at home. Matthew was very helpful from the time I booked the home to even communicating with me on our last day. Matthew is the type of person that understand how to deliver exceptional service. I would stay at this home again. Thanks Matthew.

Awesome Family Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed this property where we spent 4 days with kids and grandkids. It really has everything needed for a great family get together. The pool area really sets it apart with a diving board, slide, hot tub, top quality furniture and a great covered bar/outdoor kitchen. This is truly a 5 star property and one of the best we have rented.

Fabulous family vacation home

Our family of 6 adults and 5 children, ages 8-15, had one of the best reunions ever. The amenities were even better than expected especially the pool with diving board, slide, and spa, and the trampoline. Add some friendly basketball or miniature golf We recommend excursions to Elfin park and Del Mar Beach and then returning to dinner together on the outside patio dining table.. Matthew is an attentive host and responded to a glitch we had with the dishwasher and some missing soap.. He also checked in on us from time to time. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the layout of the house encouraged both large and small groups to get together. The pool table had almost constant use. We ended the vacation with a photo shoot just outside the front door with the palm trees in the background. We all have special memories of the Spring Break of the ages. I hope we can return.
