Hemingway Penthouse South is located conveniently close to the ocean and the heart of the Deerfield Beach entertainment district, only two blocks from the local attractions that have made the city a preferred vacation destination. This beautiful, contemporary condominium penthouse is perfect for up to 4 family or friends to enjoy during any South Florida vacation stay.

2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms are surprisingly roomy, and this delightful condo has attractive upgrades that put a premium on comfort and style. Striking luxury floors are done in hand-picked marble tile from Turkey, and the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout mean you're always within sight of an epic view. The balcony is oversized and dramatically spacious, with the corner building location providing a west facing view that is perfect for taking in an unobstructed look at the inspiring and romantic sunsets.

Master bedroom is stylishly decorated, with a spacious king bed, a designer bathroom, and a flatscreen TV. Second bedroom features a queen bed and a full bath. The living room offers a second, larger flatscreen, comfy seating, and panoramic city views through those floor-to-ceiling windows. Internet is included.

The building dates from 2009, brand new and designed to impress. The modern design demonstrates the quintessential ā€œMiami lookā€ and features several glamor touches, including an ultramodern infinity pool and sheltered patio area, gorgeous landscaping, and of course the unbeatable location.

Deerfield Beach is a preferred vacation destination for a reason: the local beach is a favorite of surfers and boasts excellent water quality and conditions, and some of America's best lifeguards and safety services. Enjoy beach volleyball, water craft rentals, scuba & snorkeling, and more. Try ā€œcable skiingā€ (think surfing + skiing + wakeboarding) at Quiet Waters Park. The area is also a dining and entertainment mecca, with waterfront restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and the Cove Shopping Center.

We were impressed by how spacious the condo was. There was plenty of room for all of us and many different places to relax including the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining areas and outdoor balcony. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the towels plentiful with even beach towels included! The kitchen had everything we needed and was clean with lots of storage available. Having a washer and dryer room was a real plus. The views east and west were beautiful both day and night and the proximity to the beach and restaurants great. Would stay there again and highly recommend.

The only thing was that it was noisy. There was repair work ongoing in the building and it was loud. It had finished by the time we left but it did dampen the experience early on.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the penthouse for 10 days. Lots of windows/natural light/intracostal view and sunset views, while being close by the beach and restaurants (5 min walk). The condo has everything you need to enjoy your family meals indoors and outdoors, and you can even do your laundry. Beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, high chair, pack n play, roll-out bed, etc. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family! Thanks to Lars from iRenta for the warm welcome!

Review of Hemingway

Overall, my family and I enjoyed the Hemingway penthouse, especially the location and size of the unit/views from the unit. Fair warning, the building itself is dated which caused many mechanical issues. The elevators were out of commission several times while staying there and it caused difficulty getting up to the unit. There were also issues when first arriving with overall cleanliness of the unit. The oven had a ton of grease in the bottom which caused it to smoke heavily (as one example). Lars the property manager was very responsive and did do his best to fix issues quickly. The location is great, but the building and unit could use some TLC.

Reviewer Comments: Issues that we incurred while staying at Hemingway Penthouse South Unit#504Unit was very dirty; dirty floors, bathroom and kitchen.Bathroom towels were very dirty; either heavily stained or not cleaned.Extensive mold in both showers and washer/dryer.Outdoor patios off of Master and kitchen where so dirty that you could not even use them.Burned out light bulbs everywhere; hallway, refrigerator, microwave and lamps.Powder room door would not latched, (door broke).Toilet seats in both bathroom where broke and stained.In 2nd bedroom; glass shower door hinges are missing several screws which makes this extremely dangerous. Glass door could possible fall off. And all the screws in the drain in shower are missing.There is a very dangerous exposed outlet (no cover) in 2nd bedroom.Ceiling repair work in hallway (possibly from a water leak) is not complete. Looks terrible!Master bedroom shade on sliding door was replaced with ridiculous looking drapes that do not match the existing drapes and are 2 feet to short.Missing items: no dishtowels, no wash clothes, no laundry detergent, no kitchen or bathroom cleaner and no way to clean existing dirty floors. Vacuum cleaner does not work, it has absolutely no suction.All rugs were covered in sand and dirt. Probably because the cleaning crew was using a broken vacuum cleaner.The pictures shown describing this unit are inaccurate. There is different furniture, (not as nice as shown) and accessories and cheep plastic plants littering the lanai and there is no outdoor drapes as shown.
