It’s not just about where you sleep, it’s about having a place that works for your entire weekend.

The Space:
Perfectly situated on 10 acres of picturesque countryside tucked into the Palo Pinto mountains, this private 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath barndo-style home offers a comfortable place to recharge after a long day. The setting here allows you to step away from the crowds while still staying close to what brought you.

All bedrooms are located downstairs for easy access:

Each bedroom is designed with simplicity and functionality in mind, featuring a closet nook, dresser, lamp, and ceiling fan for year-round comfort. The layout includes two bedrooms on each side of the home, with identical bathrooms in between, each with a walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet.
Upstairs, a 500sqft loft offers additional space for kids to unwind, complete with a small TV.

Living & Gathering Space:
The heart of the home is an open-concept kitchen and living space designed for easy gathering.

Whether you're sharing meals, playing games, or simply relaxing, the layout gives everyone room to be together. Board games, card games, DVDs, and puzzles are available for downtime between activities.

Outdoor Experience:
This is where the property really comes to life. Let the kids be kids, explore the outdoor climbing dome, swing on the tire swing, or spend time in the river.

Evenings are just as easy: fire up the Weber gas grill, gather under the covered patio or sit around the fire pit under the stars. For cooler nights, cozy up inside by the wood-burning fireplace.

Location Notes:
Our home is accessed by a 15min stretch of gravel road. While not paved the entire way, it’s easily manageable and part of what keeps the setting peaceful, private, and removed from busier areas. For many guests, it’s a welcome trade-off. It takes approximately 25 minutes to get to Rocker B Ranch or Rochelle's Canoe Rental, offering a convenient home base while still providing a quieter, more private setting.

This home works best for one or two families traveling together, especially those looking for a comfortable, practical place to relax between activities.
It’s not a luxury resort, but it is a well-kept, thoughtfully laid-out home where you can settle in, spread out, and enjoy time together.
