This guest is requesting a refund after abandoning the property without notice and without reporting any issues during their stay. After walking her through how to use a smart thermostat and informing her that WIFI was provided but no cable was included in the amenities, she felt it unacceptable to spend her vacation without Fox or CNN. Two days later she left the property without allowing us an opportunity to resolve any legitimate issues. Property Condition Verified Before and After Stay - The home was professionally cleaned and inspected prior to the guest’s arrival. - The guests staying immediately before and immediately after this reservation left positive reviews confirming the property was clean, accurately described, and well‑maintained. - The township has inspected the property within recent months, and it passed without issue. Claims Made in the Review Are Factually Incorrect The guest’s review contains multiple statements that do not reflect the actual property: - No above‑ground pool exists on the property nor are there weeds of the nature described. - The yard is professionally maintained weekly and includes a deck, fire pit area, and fenced yard. - Furniture is new, purchased from reputable retailers, and in excellent condition. - Motorized window shades are installed throughout the home and fully functional. - The listing clearly states Free Wi-Fi and four smart TVs, not cable channels. Cable news networks are not listed as amenities. - Trash service is weekly; containers may contain bags prior to pickup, which is normal and consistent with the service schedule. Trash pickup is Wednesday the day after the guest exited the property. We maintain: - Professional cleaning records - Video evidence from the cleaning crew showing the property’s condition before and after the stay. Guest Left the Property in Poor Condition The cleaning crew documented damaged and missing linens. These issues resulted on additional costs. Conclusion The guest abandoned the property without notice, did not request assistance, and made claims inconsistent with the actual condition of the home.
