There was bird poop all over the master balcony. The coffee maker was broken. A roach in the master bathroom. I must give them credit, When I called on the problems, management took care of it.

We booked this stay after reading the reviews online—and honestly, we found ourselves laughing at the few negative ones, since they were about things completely outside the owner’s control (like the weather and stairs).The property itself is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The balcony sits right on the beach, which made for an incredible experience. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow.Thank you for hosting us—we had a wonderful time!

Excellent stay!

Great property with great ocean and beach views from all three levels. Easy beach access. Beautiful home, plenty of room with great amenities.

This place could be great and maybe once was but it is currently in need of TLC. It has some redeeming qualities: convenient to beach and nice view, great pool and decks, and layout that works pretty well for a couple of families.However, first impressions were not good. The home has a strong musty odor, and the carpet and walls were extremely dingy. There many little things that need repair, like loose toilet paper holders.We did contact management about a plumbing issue which was repaired the next day. My suggestion would be for the owner to take a few weeks to replace the carpet, paint, do a deep clean, and figure out the humidity issue.

Awesome setting with the ocean right below your balcony

Beautiful view of the ocean right off your balcony with the option of a beautiful pool as well. We were able to listen to the waves crashing all night. Interior decorated with ocean themes, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds.

Perfect location and layout

We rented this condo for two nights. The location right on the beach was amazing. The condo itself was clean and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay.

The condo is very spacious and extremely clean. Having three floors with the master suite at the top was a great arrangement for our family of four adults and a teen. We never felt crowded. The kitchen is huge so we cooked some of our meals. What I enjoyed most was the magnificent views from the balconies overlooking the ocean! Just steps to the beach and we could listen to the waves as we fell asleep. Our host was very responsive throughout the process with quick answers and recommendations. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Relaxing Girls’ Beach Weekend

This was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. The property was as described. It was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Access to the beach was super easy and the view was amazing. The host was very communicative and check in and out was a breeze.

Perfect getaway

We were here for a military homecoming. The house was perfect for our family & some great memories were made. The host was incredibly accommodating & responsive. We will definitely rent this beach house again!

Fun Family Stay

Great location right on the beach. Clean house and comfortable beds. Close to nice restaurants, if you enjoy eating out. Only 2 negative comments, though it would not affect overall rating. More towels in the main bathrooms would have been nice, and the Keurig did not work right. Otherwise, great stay.

Just what we needed!!!

The property matched the description EXACTLY! The home is right on the beach so the views are stunning and there is plenty of living space! The house has everything you need, whether you are cooking at home or just hanging out! There were just 4 of us, but the home could easily accommodate plenty more comfortably. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place!

Unfortunately, this guest left a 3 star review due to their own mobility issues and is not in the spirit of leaving reviews. They communicated how wonderful they thought the property to be however, because it is 3 stories, they complained they were too old to handle the stairs. We make it clear in the listing that there are 3 stories, no elevator access and it is unfortunate to have received a 3 star review due to this guest's misunderstanding of the review system.

Great experience . Place is the best location closet to the water you will get to .. place is clean and host is very responsive Nice pool facility, looking to It’s a townhome, so connected units. one improvement the appliances are an old and can be upgraded. ( Dishwasher, washer / dryer) and main doors needs some adjustment is dragging.

Year 2 even better than Year 1

This was our second year staying at Osprey's Nest. It is truly the best spot for a family vacation. We have children ranging from 6 months to 16 years and there is something for everyone! Direct beach access which was NEVER crowded even during peak summer. Could sit on balcony and watch my husband/big kids in the water and sand. Awesome CLEAN pool in the community 30 steps from the home. The home is clean and well appointed. It is not childproofed so be cognizant of tall dressers, breakable items, and there are no baby gates. All kitchen needs are present. Grocery and other immediate needs are within 10 minutes and Food Lion does offer grocery pickup to make it easier on you. Fun things we did with our family for your planning purposes: Chinese food at Golden China (10min) for pickup/takeout on night 1. who wants to cook after a long drive?? Lo-Re-Lie pub and grill (10 min)-- family friendly bar with pool, darts, jenga, jutebox, live music Surf City (20 min)-- so many great beach-front restaurants and ice cream shops Surf City Aquarium (20min)-- great spot for little kids to touch starfish, stingrays, snakes and see other animals and insects up close with the CUTEST pretend play space upstairs Wilmington Historical Boat Ferry ride (1hr drive)-- 1 hour tour, grab a soda or cocktail at Anne Bonnie's bar before your tour and pick any awesome restaurant downtown after Epic Excursions out of Wrightsville Beach (50min drive)-- 3 hour private boat charters to private beaches/sandbars equipped with beach games, float pad, etc. Truly a gem.

Overall our stay was fantastic!Location to the beach, beach access and pool was phenomenal. In my opinion the properly sleeps 6 comfortably- there is a pull out bed in the living room but it’s not ideal for a family of our size as it hinders the ability to relax comfortably in the living room area. We would definitely stay here again with less people.

3rd year here, still amazing!

This is our 3rd summer staying at Osprey's Nest. Even though our family has outgrown the 3 bedroom setup, the amenities and views cannot be beat. You are the closest to the beach of any rental in N. Top Sail. I have 4 teenagers and can sit on the balcony and shout at them on the beach, and even better, my husband can toss me down a hard seltzer so I don't have to walk back! :) The beach access is about 20 steps away and the pool is about 40 steps. There is a 2ft and 3ft area at the pool so perfect for toddlers, and goes down to 6ft. House is well stocked with kitchen items. Bring extra paper products like toilet paper and paper towels and beach towels and counter cleaner. I do wish the owners would update the look of the home a bit like the house next door but it definitely suits our needs!
