Welcome to the Turtle House. This home will make you feel disconnected in your own private tropical oasis. Sleeps 11. Heated Pool. Activities for the entire family. Has its own dock with a boat lift. TRAILER can not be parked in front of house per city rules.Beautiful outdoor fire pit. Perfect for s'mores. The home has a game room to keep your guests entertained at all hours. Children friendly equipped with a high chair and 2 pack n plays. 1set of toiletries per bathroom provided. Extra needed is guestā€™s responsibility. Same goes for garbage bags and kitchen soap.

Bdrm 2. 2 bunk beds. Full at the bottom and twin on top.
Bdrm 3. Queen bed. Pack n play. 1 toddler portal bed.
Living room : 2 sofa beds. 1 queen and 1 full. There will be an extra charge for pool heating service. POOL HEATER charge is $100 for a 1 week stay. $250 for a month stay. These charges are for standard usage. Extra fees will be added for extended use of electricity.

Relaxing stay at Turtle House

The house has most everything you need. The pool is great and sitting on the canal is very relaxing. Good location for lots of Marco activities. Communication with the owner was great, very quick and helpful.

Comfortable and clean house!

Thanks for this amazing house, is very clean and stocked with everything you need for a perfect vacation, i brought my boat and was able to keep it on the lift, that is so convenient, comfortable beds and the sleeping arrangement is just what we needed. 100% reccomended!

Great place!

I picked this property to keep my boat at the dock. The property is a short boat ride away to the Gulf of America. The closest boat ramp is currently closed for construction but there are 2 more nearby, just a slightly longer boat ride to get to the house. The house was clean and my family loved the pool. Overall a great stay!

Fun in the Sun

The property had everything we needed. Our grandkids loved the bunkbeds and the pool. The adults loved the proximity to lots of wonderful food and music options. Veterans Community Park is within walking distance and has farmers market, car show and more. We are excited to be coming back again next year.

Great house, clean and well maintained

House is exactly like the pictures. Kids loved the game room, bonfire pit, and fishing off the dock (caught a couple of big ones). Would highly recommend.

Fantastic get away place in Marco

The home is beautiful and clean and the unit owner is very responsive. I would highly recommend staying at this home in Marco Island as it has a wonderful view of the water in the backyard and it is well appointed. Highly recommend you stay at this home.

Terrific Turtle House!!!

My family and our friends family had an excellent stay at the turtle house! There was 11 of us total with plenty of room for all. Communication with the host was excellent and then we had no issues. The kids had fun fishing off of the dock, swimming in the pool, and playing in the game room when they werenā€™t at the beach! Iā€™d highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying on beautiful Marco Island.

Great Labor Day weekend with the family

We had a great experience staying at the turtle house, property was as expected from the pictures and the information on the site. Very clean and provided all that was needed for a fun weekend with the family. Convenient location if bringing your boat for fishing and cruising. Jessica was very helpful and responsive to any of our questions or request. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good family time in the Marco Island area.

Host was amazing

Check in was quick and easy. Prior guest left a mess and cleaning crew didn't earn their pay. Host was prompt to get pool heater fixed and pool cleaned. Microwave went out and Host had it replaced the next day. House was a great fit for our family vacation. Stingrays and dolphins swam by the dock. Main street by the house got busy during the day but not a huge problem getting in and out of the driveway. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book at this house and this Host again.

Turtle House getaway.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Jessica's "Turtle House." The pictures and descriptions were very accurate and the location was very convenient to all of the shops & restaurants on Marco Island. Although the property is on a main street, the back yard was on one of the canals and was very quiet and peaceful, with docks and a firepit that we enjoyed on cool nights. We had rented the house for 2 couples but my niece & her 2 daughters visited for a 1 night sleepover and they loved the heated pool with the many pool inflatables and the game room with lots of game options. The decor and appointments were so thoughtfully done and jessica provided all of the things needed for a memorable home away from home experience. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great place

We had a great stay. We were able to bring our boat and launch at Calusa harbor marina. They allow trailer parking so that worked out well. The dock is nice and spacious. The living room faces the pool and canal. The kids had a great time. They loved fishing from the dock. The home was well equipped with towels, pool toys, etc. Definitely planning on returning.

Just about perfect for us

We stayed at the turtle house for Christmas with family. There were 4 adults and 4 kids. It was perfect for a group our size. Any more & it would have been on top of each other. We loved to be able to use the dock for our boat. The kids had fun in the pool. There was an unexpected charge to heat the pool, but was worth it so the kids would use the pool. Overall we were very happy with our stay. The things I would change are - providing baking dishes

Special weekend

Beautiful and comfortable house with all the necessary amenities. Super fun game room for children and adults. Very good cleaning. The whole family felt at home. We hope to return soon! We only have one tip: the room where the bunk beds are is very hot, they should air condition it a little more. Greetings and thank you very much!

A great spring break!!

We visited in late March, two families with 9 total guests. We have kids aged 8 and under. The pool was beautiful and got a ton of use! It was worth it to have it heated for the week. The backyard had a beautiful water view, very nice fire pit & a dock for fishing. The house itself came stocked with many essential items such a pool toys, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, fishing poles, etc. Things we would not have wanted to buy ourselves, so we appreciated that! The location was good, road was a little busy out front but that is no fault of the owner. It was walkable to Starbucks, Walgreens and a couple nearby restaurants and bars. Everything else (beach, Snook Inn, grocery) were all a 7 minute or less drive. Check in was easy and the owner was very easy to get ahold of, quick to respond and very helpful! The only downfall we noted was some general cleanliness of the home. For example there were ant traps on many window sills that seemed to have been there a long time, some of the liquid had spilled out and hardened with dead ants in it and was just gross to look at. I would hope the owner knew these were not being removed and replaced regularly by the cleaners. The other thing was just the general disorganization of the kitchen, drawers, etc. There were many random items being left by other renters and it was hard to always find what we needed. The finishes of the kitchen, appliances, etc themselves were beautiful and very nice. Overall we had an amazing week, thank you!

Lesson learned, we will not be back

There are pros and cons to this rental. My family stays in 3-4 rental homes yearly for the past 5 years - this is the first time that I have ever had an issue.On arrival, the kitchen was not cleaned, disorganized, not well stocked for 14 people. There were locks on kitchen cabinet doors that had the owners belongings in them - but were left unlocked. The owner was alerted of these things in addition to other issues, outside of a "thanks for letting me know" there was nothing else done on the owners part. I was surprised that she did not offer to have the cleaning crew come back out.Unfortunately, after leaving we were notified that we would only get a partial security deposit refund due to several damaged items after us leaving - the owner stated that she had photo/video documentation of all of this from her cleaning crew. The things listed that we damaged included the locked cabinets (which she was informed were left open on our arrival) an outdoor pool bench, hinges on a screen door and broken games in the game room. I did discuss this with the owner - discussed that I would pay for the games, but that the other things were not broken by my group. She did provide me with photos of after my group left but not before photos. VRBO was not helpful in disputing this. We felt like we were set up. We will not be back.In the future I will consider purchasing insurance (which we have never needed in the past) and taking my own before/after photos to protect ourselves.
