Three block walk to beach, private pool, designer home

Thank you so much for your review Tom. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location of our home to Crescent Beach and our beautiful pool and lanai area! We regret that we were not able to address your concerns as we were not made aware of them during our welcome and check in conversation with you nor during the remainder of your stay. We have the lighting deliberately on the subdued side for the kitchen area because that’s the atmosphere that we created for the room. There is a bright light over the newly installed stove for those who require more light. When we were last at the house in January, there were no issues with the remote fan controls. They may likely need batteries and we will be attending to that as well as the smoke detector that is seemingly missing in the twin bedroom. The shower door will also be addressed immediately. Our more recent guests have not noted the same problem that you have described when asked. As far as the travertine pool decking, the nature of travertine is that it can be slightly off-balance. The decking was recently reset and there were no visible pieces that were a tripping hazard during our stay in January. Travertine is popular for the aesthetics and the comfortable feeling under foot as you walk around the pool but in some areas there is a small amount of unevenness. Thank you for your feedback.
