Great place and location! This was our second year staying here, and we had another wonderful experience. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the lakefront setting. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy the lake, and spend time with family. We would definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The host was great with communication before arriving and while we were there. The house was very clean and well stocked. The location was private and quiet yet easily accessible to town and shops/restaurants. It was also located in between Mackinac Island and Glen Arbor if you're looking to venture out a bit further. We rented a boat for a couple days - Lake Bellaire connects to four more lakes so plenty to explore! The long dock was very nice, especially to watch the sunset.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. Everything was perfectly organized, spotless and ready for us to enjoy! It really is the perfect spot - quiet, secluded and with an access to the lake. Great place for families with kids, all ages. Plenty things to do in the area. Perfect location to get to surrounding lakes and little towns. Owner very responsive. This place exceeded our expectations. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you!

This house is well kept and very comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's a beautiful, secluded property and was close enough to everything we wanted to do in the area. Adults and kids alike enjoyed the lake and the kayaks, canoe, and the lilypad! The open floorplan made it easy to be together. The kitchen was well-supplied and spacious. The bedrooms were comfortable. It was just perfect for our family!

Keri was great. She was always available and provided consistent updates during checkin. The entire home is modern, kitchen, laundry, bathrooms. There's plenty of space for a great, private, family vacation. The walk to the lake is about 70 yards down a nice wide path of wood chips. The dock is a great place for sunrises and sunsets. We used the 2 kayaks and 2 'Sup boards a lot. We enjoyed evening fire-pits and eating on the large deck. Plenty of parking and great access to Bellaire for Short's and Torch Lake for Dockside. Access to the Glacial Hills Hiking/Biking trails. Take the kids to Kings Orchards. Truly a hidden gem!

A great getaway

The property was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids, 6 and 9 yo), although it would have comfortably held 8. Keri, the property manager, was wonderful. She was organized, helpful, and responsive. She even made sure we had some extra lifejackets for our kids. We had a great time grilling, hunting for firewood, making bonfires, making s'mores, kayaking and exploring northern Michigan. Its location is wonderful, 5 minutes from Bellaire (and Short’s!) and 5 minutes from Torch lake. It was also easy enough to get to Charlevoix, Traverse City and Petoskey. We’d visit again!

What a beautiful property! Even though it was mid July, we never saw another person while outside or on the pier. We did however, often spot a mother deer and her 3 fawns on the path to the lake on multiple occasions, what a treat! A highlight for my teens was the use of the kayaks and paddle boards. They loved the freedom of getting out on the lake and exploring. The pier itself seemed new and we really loved the carpet-like material placed on the lake floor at the end of the pier. It made the whole experience very pleasant! We are not experienced lakers, so this was an unexpected nice surprise for us.The house had everything we needed. We grilled several times, used the oven to roast some veggies and made coffee every morning. All the kitchen staples were there and didn't need to be purchased. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable, which I always appreciate.Keri was a responsive and accommodating host, we ended up having our jet ski rental cancelled due to the Canadian wildfires and hit up some of her recommended local spots instead. We particularly loved the Mexican food at Providence Organic Farm Cafe. This Hidden Gem was the perfect blend of the relaxation and retreat my husband and I were seeking and the fun and activity my teens craved. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Gem in woods hidden lake

House was immaculate, it was challenging at times with 2 bathrooms for 6 people. No closet space at all, no where to hang nice clothes, nor an iron. Outdoor deck space was amazing, great fire pit. Wildlife galore. It’s a hike to the lake, they provided a much used wagon. We came for the lakes and brought our boat and used the provided mooring anchor, unfortunately it was terribly difficult to get out to the boat due to amount of fallen logs in the water and the water is very mucky. The proximity to the beautiful town of Bellaire was very convenient.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property, I'm sorry to hear that we didn't check all the boxes on your expectations. With this being a new property we are constantly making updates and improvements, unfortunately some of those take time to achieve, as we have a very detailed plan of developing the water front access and are very grateful to be closely located to several public boat launches as well. We had ordered standing closets for the rooms but that hadn't arrived before your check in. The addition of an iron is a great suggestion and we will definitely make that happen.

A Perfect Getaway by Lake Bellaire

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming VRBO property near Lake Bellaire, and it exceeded our expectations in every way’; Property Management: The property manager was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Any questions or concerns were promptly addressed, ensuring a stress-free stay. Renovated A-Frame Cabin: The cabin itself was a cozy haven. Tucked away amidst towering pines, it exuded rustic charm while offering modern comforts. The recent renovations were evident—the kitchen was well-equipped, the bathrooms spotless, and the decor tasteful. We loved the open-concept design and the large windows that allowed natural light to flood in. Lake Access: Just a short walk from the cabin, we found ourselves at the edge of Lake Bellaire. The serene views were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. Easy dock access allowed us to grab a chair or blanket and relax or use the provided kayaks to enjoy some time on the lake! Two single kayaks and life jackets are provided on site. Games: Board games as well as outdoor yard games were provided on site as well adding to the fun! The firepit was a cozy gathering spot. Fresh wood was thoughtfully supplied, making s’mores sessions even more enjoyable. Location: Although the cabin isn’t within walking distance to town, a short 5-minute car ride gets you into Bellaire. There, you’ll find charming cafes, boutique shops, and local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Great location to hang out, but also close to Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Boyne. House is spacious and the deck and fire pit are top notch. Kitchen is well appointed for those looking to cook most of their meals. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards.
