Winter beach adventures

Our family had an amazing time at this property. Loved the direct beach access! The location and setup is amazing and we were able to observe dolphins from the living room.

Weekend at the Beach

We really enjoyed our weekend at the beach in this house! Our favorite part about the house was the large deck that was great for enjoying our meals and taking in the views. We hope to be back for another stay soon.

Great location. There were great restaurants within just a few steps of house. The beach was lively but not crowded at all. The owner gave great details on everything that was needed to know about the property and surrounding area. Will definitely stay here again!

Family weekend in Omaha

This property was a perfect choice . Had family gathering in town and the property had everything as listed . Plenty of room , updated, great deck , and garage for cars . Would stay again .

Beautiful Beach House!

Loved just sitting and watching the water. We visited antique malls, Chrysler Museum, Norfolk Botanical Garden, plus had two great meals out — Backyard Deck and Saltine. We also had food from the pizza place at the end of the driveway. Very convenient. Owner Hedi was a great host.

Labor Day weekend Home. 2023

Properly was clean and modern. Couldn’t ask for more from it. Beach access a little rough, but perfect once on the beach. Neighborhood seemed to be right on th edge of good and not so good. Still we really enjoyed our stay and would probably visit it again.

GIRLS WEEKEND

If it hadn't been snowing, it would have been perfect. Just hard to maneuver bags with snow in the street. Couldn't be helped. The house was cozy and we played dominoes and watched TV while deciding where we could eat out. Many laughs until we cried and and memories made for sure!!

Stop searching, THIS is what you are looking for. We can’t stop talking about what a fantastic stay we had at this beach house! The private beach access was awesome and the perfect blend of serene privacy and ability to stroll down to the water whenever we wanted.From the moment we booked, the owner was incredibly attentive, every question or request got a thoughtful, speedy reply. You could tell she genuinely cares about making guests happy, which made the whole experience feel so welcoming and effortless.The location couldn’t be more convenient. Right across the street, there’s a great pizza spot and a lively Mexican restaurant, ideal for those nights when you just want something quick and delicious. And for breakfast? There’s an excellent diner literally next door with great food, right when you wake up. Everything you need is practically right outside your door.Inside, the place is bright, modern, and impeccably clean. The living space is open and airy, with beautiful decor that blends comfort and style in all the best ways. We especially loved the balconies and deck, perfect for sipping our morning coffee with a view (and the soothing sound of waves in the background!).This house isn’t just a place to crash, it’s a whole experience. Whether we were lounging down by the beach, grabbing tacos across the street, or sipping coffee on the deck, we felt bliss and full of joy. We can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely book again... and so will you.

Relaxing vacation!

We were one of the first summer guests. Hostess shipped us more beach games than she already had and a cooler for us to use on the beach. We also had a power outage first night that was due to a car wreck....not her fault at all; however, she offered us breakfast and arranged for us to eat at Karlas for the inconvenience. She was very responsive from the day we made the reservation to the day we left. She was more than helpful!! We played board games and enjoyed the projector she has. She told me exactly how many towels, wash cloths and beach towels she had in advance. I should have packed a few wash cloths of my own just bc we are always needing one.....so if u are a family of 4 to 6 i would suggest that. Another review said you cannot see water from 2nd floor master which is true due to the sand dune. But u can hear the waves and it is still a nice deck and peaceful. The gorgeous view is certainly the 3rd floor living area and deck which is where we spent most of our time if we were inside. Perfect location as we did not want the typical beach scene with all the people and umbrellas. Just close enough to VA Beach to the south and Williamsburg and Hampton to the North. I would definitely recommend this home! Beautiful home and wonderful home owner! We had a great time!

Unforgettable Summer in Virginia!

The place was everything we could have asked for. Let’s talk about the house! What a beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you may need during your stay property. The refreshments and the wonderful welcome gift were such a wonderful surprise. The kids loved using the body surf boards. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful with detergent already there as we decided to hit the beach as soon as we got there. I had a full itinerary planned out for the week and everything was within a 30 minute drive from where the property was located. We got to explore so much with enough time to get back and enjoy the beach every single day. The host was extremely attentive and ready to meet our needs from making sure the dune was in great shape, appliances working and local recommendations for food and specific apps to download that helped with traffic, especially when it came to the Hampton Beltway. Thank you for the memories Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Chesapeake! We had a blast!

Absolutely stay here!

So we have stayed in a few rentals in the omaha area and by far this is the best. The home was not only beautiful but also very clean. All the bedding was extremely comfortable, it truly felt like a home away from home for us while we stayed. Carol was very quick responding to my emails and really went above and beyond to make this stay so easy for us. She was so accommodating and easy to work with when our check out dates needed to continually extended. If I ever need to return to omaha, her place will absolutely be where we stay. Also great location to UNMC, just a few minute drive.

Great week!

Nice home and excellent communication with owner. She went over and beyond. We were her first summer guests so she was quick to ship additional beach items and made sure we had what we needed. Excellent selection of board games and cards which we played several times. We had a great time.

Beautiful Bay View

This home is beautiful. Very bright with an open concept. We enjoyed sitting by the gas fireplace and watching football on giant screen. The Bay view was amazig. We even saw Dolphins one morning. Great communication with owner. We had a wonderful Christmas with our family. Would love to come back in warmer weather.

Weekend Girls Trip

This was a girls trip for me, my sisters, mother, and daughter! We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer! There is direct beach access, however the drop off the dune can be tricky, other than that everything was as the pictures and description described.

Beautiful view!

Excellent house and beautiful view, short walk to the beach just over the dune. It was just what we wanted! House was clean and easy check in. Only negative was somethings were not there that was in listing; bikes, high hair, toiletries, but we appreciated the chairs, beach towels and toys. Would definitely come back!

Perfect for out of town wedding base

This property is roomy, clean, charming, quiet neighborhood. We were in town for my son’s wedding at the Field House Country Club, great location. We were unable to get our password to work for entrance but the resource personnel was very receptive. I’m thankful my 90 year parents didn’t come, didn’t realize there were steep stairs on the lawn to get to the house. But otherwise I would definitely stay at this location again if I found myself in Omaha! Thank you!
