Cozy beach retreat with in ground pool just 7 minutes from seaside heights

This cozy little home is perfect for your next vacation! Just 7 minutes from seaside heights you can go to the board walk for the day and come back and relax by the pool. Large out side patio with dining table under the retractable awning. Sectional couch is positioned under the pergola with a gas fire place for night time comfort. House might not be very large but can sleep up to 7. Bed room one has a full bed and tv and bedroom two has a bunk bed full on bottom with a single over head. Finally the living room has a pull out couch. Lots of off road parking around the house. House comes with all appliances and cooking utensils pots and pans you could need. Disclose I do have a dog that comes down to the house in the winter house is thoroughly cleaned before rental season. UPDATE for any new or prior renters I just finished installing central air in the house so this summer it will be icy cold

Great clean house. AC was terrific. Comfy. And the yard is awesome. Pool w solar cover. Lights at night. Firepit. Lounge chairs. Very nice home close to the ocean. Would recommend this !!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in Toms River. The interior was as pictured and was comfortable and perfect for our needs. The out door space was even nicer in person and we spent the majority of our time relaxing, cooking and swimming out there. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the location was great for easy commute to the beach and local restaurants and markets. Communication with Sean was quick and easy and he was able to accommodate all our requests. Would recommend to anyone considering.

This is such a cozy 2 bedroom with an amazing pool. So much ease working with Sean, he keeps his property clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works so well and the pool is great! This was a wonderful second stay for us, and will most likely be back next year!

Beach weekend trip- Moms & Teens

The house was clean and cozy, with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook. The pool was clean and we enjoyed it fully. The backyard was perfect during the day & into the evening. We loved that the beach & boardwalk were both just 10 minutes away. Thank you for offering such a great place to stay.

Stayed at this fantastic home with my family while making a short trip back to Jersey for my daughter’s Bridal Shower. The house is bigger than it appears in the pictures, we had plenty of room. There were 6 of us, 4 adults, as well as, my two grandchildren, plenty of sleeping spots for everyone. The pool area outside was the highlight. Loved having our own private place to go swimming, especially since it was so hot out. My 4 year old granddaughter really loved the pool. The owner, Sean Powers, was extremely accommodating and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Next trip up to Jersey to visit family, I definitely know where we will be staying.

PERFECT

2 families/friends in town for a softball tournament. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway, so close to all popular attractions and amenities. 7 minutes from seaside heights boardwalk. 40 minutes from great adventure. If you forgot something and it isn’t already provided by the host, shopping is also only 15-35 minutes away. The pool/patio is fantastic. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. 4 adults and 2 teen guests.

My famiily had a memorable stay at the Cozy Beach Retreat. The house itself is very clean & comfortable. The highlight of course was the swimming pool. We also enjoyed being close to the beaches at Island Beach State Park and Ocean Gate. We would definitely stay again!

We were there for my granddaughters HS graduation and usually stay at my daughter's house but couldn't this time and found this. The house was very cozy with the owner being very helpful before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Pool was a great added feature. Again 5 STARS

Cute cottage in Toms River with all the amenities we needed. Great yard and pool. Location for the property was just what we needed, and it was easy to get to the shore attractions close by. I definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Nice Small VRBO

It is a cozy nice home. There was a nice outdoor patio, but it was too cold to use. The home was a little dirtier than expected with lots of stuff in the closets and the kitchen wasn't well cleaned. The owner was very responsive which was much appreciated.

Perfect for Family!

This house was great for us, and our friends. Not far from the beach and a pool to relax when your done with beach. I would recommend for a family of 4 and there grandparents anytime!

Perfect little getaway

The house was clean and cozy, the perfect size for my family. Having our own private pool was the best part. We enjoyed playing music through the outdoor speakers while swimming and having a BBQ during the day. We went for a swim in the lit up pool and made smores by the fire pit at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay so much and made many fun memories. Thank you again!

Vacation at the Vallhalla Cottage

All I can say is WOW! From the ease of booking, to the quick responses from Sean, this was an absolute pleasure. The house was cozy and quaint. The decor is beachy with a touch of humor (aka: bathroom pic and royal pup). The house slept 6 comfortably for our all adult family (21+). However, the best part, the outdoor area. The salt water pool was outstanding, plenty of outdoor seating, and a sectional with a gas fire pit. So close to the beaches, and seconds from any shopping you may need to do. All appliances are updated, and the keyless entry was a dream. We will DEFINITELY be return guests to the cozy cottage. Thanks Sean!!!

Great beach house close to everything

Thank you for opening your house to us and to a wonderful stay! The house was great for us, many places to sleep. 3 beds in the bunk bed room, one bed in the other room (softer mattress) and the pull out couch in the living room. The house has all the utensils and cookware you might need, microwave, air fryer and coffee maker. The highlight of course is the backyard and pool, we spent a lot of our time out there as well as being so close to the boardwalk and all the beaches. Couple of things to think about adding, bug zapper by the back door for the flys at night. More towels, in and out of the pool so much you can always use more towels. Lastly, a couple of throw blankets would be good for who ever might be sleeping on the pull out couch. We loved the house and will keep it in mind when we plan another trip down the shore next year. Thank you again!

Perfect getaway with backyard oasis

The photos do not do this listing justice. The house is the perfect summer getaway, Warm and inviting, efficient and charming. Outside, there’s a luxurious backyard oasis complete with an inground pool, a relaxing outdoor sectional and fire pit. My husband barbecued while my daughters and I worked on our tans by the pool. We enjoyed our meals at the outdoor dinning table before taking a swim. Even the water temperature was perfect. We ended the nights playing cards and making s'mores by the firepit. The beach is a short drive away and the sunsets on the bay are breathtaking. Restaurants are everywhere. The house has a fully stocked kitchen and all the necessities are pretty much there. We ordered groceries from ShopRite through fresh direct to be delivered with no issues. All of the Beds were very comfortable. Shower was good. The only issue is that it gets hot in the bunk bed room. There is one large AC unit in the living room and the master bedroom has a ceiling fan. We had car trouble and had to leave our car at the garage, (which was conveniently less than a mile from the house). And this was the perfect vacation home to be “stuck at” without a car. Sean Powers was the perfect host. Easy to contact and very accommodating. 10/10

Charming home with fantastic pool and patio!

If you put a high value on family time and enjoy the privacy of your own personal pool, this is the place for you! The house has all of the essentials and the backyard pool and patio offer a great place to relax, cool off, and hang out with family and friends, morning, noon and night.

Family Vacation

Overall our stay was awesome! Everything went so smooth and easy. My goal was to have family altogether for a mini vacation and to celebrate my son's 21st and without this location, price and having payment options I dont think it would have been possible. I had family come from PA, MS, and GA. For my Dad this was his fist time experiencing the shore.

Softball tournament stay

Overall it was amazing and perfect for our stay. Host was great!! Quick with responses and easy to reach for questions. We did find a dirty sock under the dresser when checking to make sure our kids didn’t stuff things any where before we left. There is dog hair on one of couches which typically no big deal but our 4 year old has allergies. It was kind of a bummer that the house is set up for entertaining, but you’re not able to have anyone there while you stay. However, the house was fully stocked with whatever was needed throughout our stay!
