Although the location was breathtaking, the apartment itself was not the best. Unfortunately for me, the fake air freshener scent caused me to become quite ill forcing us to leave. Even without the scent issue I would have given the rating a 3 due to the paper thin walls and generally worn down look of the place both inside and out. The owners refunded us the unused nights but this experience left me realizing that I can never stay in a VRBO again because they are too unpredictable.

Sea Village is a fantastic spot to stay! Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Very clean, well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we come to the Big Island! Great communication with host also!

Great little oceanfront condo close to downtown Kona. 1 bed/1 bath with kitchen, sitting area and great amenities like beach gear. Comfy bed, AC unit in the bedroom for warm nights. Quiet neighbors. Awesome views.

Fully enjoyed our stay. The property and unit are beautiful. Great location. Close to the happenings. Well stocked. My only complaints were that the bed is very firm and we had to buy our own toilet paper because what was provided was 1 ply.

Sleeping to the sounds of wavesš
OMG view to die for! As comfy as home, clean, organized & so comfortable for sleeping to lounging. Great spot to travel anywhere on island, or just stay put. Felt spacious even when family visited. Wonderful pool & recycle were a bonus. Happy from arranging to leaving. Mgt team responded quickly and let us check in early, fixed any problems immediately.

10th Anniversary
Great location, quiet yet close to downtown. Wonderful views and plenty of room with everything you could possibly need for your trip to the island. Just bring food and drink. One opportunity for improvement would be to improve the AC in the bedroom, (Reqās draining in middle of night) understanding AC is rare on the Island. Overall wonderful stay and we would definitely love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Village 4-104. Being on the ground floor, right on the bay without viewing anything between was our criteria and it was met. The Condo is pleasantly decorated and very comfortable. We would certainly choose this unit again. Thank you for the beach gear availability. We thought lack of air conditioning might be a problem but it wasn't. Able to cool off the bedroom to sleep was all that was needed. The area was very quiet. I want to go back...NOW š

Being right on the water, it does lend beauty and natural sea spray smells. Everything in the condo including furniture and cabinetry is less than a year old, so it's unlikely to be all musty. I am sorry for your experience, and hope you enjoyed the place beyond the salt air.

The Turtle House
This was potentially a challenging trip for us to Hawaii because we traveled with our four year old grandson. The condo was perfect with plenty of space for the three of us. Kitchen was well stocked. The fold out bed for our grandson was perfect. Lots of gear for the beach was available for snorkeling, chairs, beach toysā¦.The bed was comfortable. The tiled floors with fish and turtles brightened up the rooms. The lanai was nice with the ocean only yards away. We enjoyed the sound of the wavesā¦.The view across the bay to town was very nice.
Location was great. Just slightly out of town and away from the busyness. We could hear neighbors but all was quiet during quiet hours.

Perfect Kona location!
My wife and I stayed in this beautiful unit for six days in early February. The views are exactly as shown in the photos and are stunning. The walk to Huggoās is just under a mile. They donāt take reservations and the food is great. Itās worth it to wait for a table at the railing. If youāre going for dinner bring a flashlight to be seen in the dark as you walk back.Island LavaJava is also close and is great for breakfast and lunch. For a fabulous dinner try Jackie Reyās Ohana Grill Kona which is just a couple of miles away.
Sea Village is very quiet and has plenty of parking spots. Sitting on the deck with our breakfast or in the evening with our wine we watched whales, snorkelers, paddle boarders, and paragliders.
You MUST visit the National Park at Puāukohola Heiau to see the excellent video depicting how Kamehameha the Great took over all the islands and then take the 45 minute tour inside Huliheāe Palace right in Kona to learn even more fascinating history.
We definitely plan to return to this unit in Sea Village.

It was okay
The location was great, and the view was great. However, there is WHITE carpet in the living, dining and bed rooms. Because of the humidity, the carpet constantly feels a little damp. The two beds in the smaller room were more like a toddler bed than a single and we're horribly uncomfortable. There is also an ant problem that they are aware of, and provide ant spray in the condo. We used it all. The ants were in the bedroom, kitchen and living room.
The complex itself is a bit unwelcoming. LOTS of rules and restrictions on facilities (pool, bbq area etc) and parking. Like asking you to limit your time in the pool and limit your use of the bbq.

I am sorry for your experience but We manage 4-104 at Sea Village and this does not sound like our unit. Our unit is a one bedroom with all tile and no carpet. Please reach out to the management company you rented from or VRBO to leave a review on their site.
