This huge Family Fun cabin is great for retreats, reunions, family fun and has 7 bedrooms including a den and loft. sleeping 20, with 2 baths, 2 fridges, 4 levels and room for everyone. At an elevation of 5600ft, close to Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest Lake. Full kithen, microwave, range, 2 fridges, dishwasher, washer, dryer. Fireplace/wood stove, wood provided, parking for 4, foosball, air hockey tables in game room, bbq and decks. AIR CONDITIONING! WIFI!
We have smoke detectors, CO detectors, fire extinguishers.

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
* We provide cleaning service after your departure for a fee so you do not have to clean on your vacation. We follow covid protocols and procedures, per vrbo listing information for California no contact entry.
CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners,disinfectant sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. Our crews wear protective masks and gloves. We have always taken great care to protect our guests! You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest. Thanks Darlene
* Our cabin sleeps up to 20-22 and provides great lodging for family retreats.
* Pets are NOT allowed and No Smoking, No Parties.

The cabin was perfect for five families with many young children to enjoy a summer weekend mountain lake trip. The place was spacious, with lots of different areas to gather and make memories; didn't feel cramped at all.Kitchen had full set of pots, pans, serving platters, cooking utensils, knives/cutting boards, and more than enough silverware/dishware to serve the wonderful BBQ and snacks through our trip. Two fridges help to store food, but bring your own ice if you anticipate needing it.Backyard was roomy enough to fit all of us for an evening BBQ after the lake.Bedrooms had ample supplies for towels and blankets for our large group, and each room had fans/coolers to keep the space cool at night.Parking is cozy, but it did fit a Sienna, Highlander, Prius, Rav4, and an RDX. There is enough space to allow all vehicles to back in to make leaving easier and not be on the driveway incline.Distance to Pinecrest lake was perfect at 10 minutes to help getting to the lake early, and Darlene was great at answering questions.

It was a big cabin the rooms are a nice size but only 2 restrooms was hard for our group with it being a cabin for up to 22. The Cabin was nice but very outdated also down stairs TV was very old. When we arrived one of the futons on the top floor was broken so we couldn’t use it. The kitchen did not have a blender which was a big thing for us or an iron. It was horrible to space out showers and laundry as water was leaking and we were very limited on washing. There was also a lot of big spiders found throughout the cabin. Some of the chairs outside were not sturdy or comfortable specifically the white ones and some were damaged. The cabin is in a great location, very short drive to the lake and a chevron. Communication was awesome very fast response.

I'm sort of not surprised. This cabin is loved by many families return guests every year for 20yrs. It's not outdated with new laminate flooring, tile counter tops, etc. Your group didnt read any rules,or information or even the description or look at photos. The cabin accommodated your group of 22 and you deffinately had a great time, that was evident. You broke the futon, took home cables for tvs, dvds etc because the kids hooked up game stations. The cabin description, welcome guide and information give you plenty of instructions, you didnt bring items you needed, you didn't respect the septic rules and tried to have an outside fire in the forest. The forestry dept has signs, warnings posted about fires all the way up hwy 108 on the route to the cabin. I'm glad you had a good time but maybe use the information shared with you for having a better stay. Yes we did a great job cleaning, maintenance arrived within minutes of your call when you overfilled the washer. We did our best!

Hi, I'm so glad you had an awesome time! The cabin is a great big wonderful place. The Tuolumne County Stanislaus National forest is a great place to vacation. We have wonderful seasons and many adventures! Families love to come and explore. Great property for a large group and located nicely to Pinecrest Lake. We hiked around the lake and went back for the movies under the stars at the lake, plus rented a boat!On the property, it does say to bring your own trash bags but not the size for the kitchen…I brought a normal 13gal kitchen size and it was too small to line the kitchen trash can. Fortunately my daughter had two large black trash bags in her truck. The kitchen is well stocked. The air hockey doesn’t work with the “air” part cause there is a missing piece…the tv’s don’t work with all the VCR movies…again missing cable so you can’t use it for the wide selection of movies they have…don’t know if we could’ve brought a Fire Stick cause it wasn’t mentioned to do that in cabin description…very fuzzy pictures on regular tv except for 3 stations. No instructions for this at all in binder. We did enjoy our visit and am glad we brought games to play( many cabins have some there but this one didn’t).

Great house in the mountains

We spent a great weekend in Cold Springs and the house was spacious and clean with all amenities listed. Snow was just a bonus.

Cold Springs Birthday Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our 12 group of family and friends. Plenty of room for everyone. Lovely quiet street. Well stocked cabin with a great location. Close to Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest.

Family get away

The house was just perfect size for our family. The kids enjoyed the VHS Disney movies. It was quiet and secluded but perfect distance to the hiking trail and lake. We would love to come back every year! Thank you for plenty of towels and bed linens.

the cabin is large enough for a large family gathering. cabin is dated, stove probably needs to be updated. but overall it's a good cabin.

The wood stove is older but huge and it will heat the house along with the forced air heat. The crew could tell you had a good time! The cabin always gets great reviews. Great access to the lake

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin. Was a little warm and had to deal with too many yellow jackets but we had a great time. The grandkids loved the lower level of the cabin with the air hockey. Not a far drive to the lake. Was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

No snow trip

Was hoping for snow but no snow. Would definitely stay in this cabin again. It was perfect for our family. Very cozy living room with the wood burning stove next to kitchen. Very spacious with 3 levels. Loved it.

It's a great place for vacation.

We were not having much plans for outing. The lake is just a 10 minutes drive. Most of the time at home enjoying food and company with friends and family. Even we are group of 13 didn't much really realised we have only two bathrooms.

Best stay

The moment we turned into the street we fell in love with the view. The house was cleaned and organized. No problems whatsoever. We really enjoyed our time there, there was no wifi, but we didnt lose cell reception, a little slow but we could manage, not an issue. Thank you for everything.

Perfect cabin for a larger group

We had a great stay at Pinecrest Area Rentals #16. We had 15 people are were very comfortable. We loved the porches, it had a great living room area and game room along with lots of bedrooms so people could all have a place to sleep. Plus there were lots of Disney movies on VHS so we enjoyed that as well. =) The place was clean, and the descriptions were all accurate. Darlene was great to work with. We would definitely rent this cabin again in the future.

I'm very sorry you couldn't make it. Sincerely, Darlene Here's some other vrbo guest comments. *The cabin was wonderful, but what truly stood out was Darlene’s team. They went above and beyond to help my family and I as we were not prepared for the weather. They treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of at checkout. Would definitely visit again! Reviewer location - San Jose Date of arrival - February 21, 2023 We are still amazed by the host and her attention to notify us of the difficulties of clearing out the prior week's blizzard and more than 9' of snow. We are skiers so we wanted to get some of the new snow. Host Darlene's crew moved mountains of snow and even had to deal with a pipe issue up to the last minute. We arrived and the cabin was pre-warmed. Pictures and listings are spot on. We would stay again at this cabin. Reviewer location - West Marin County Date of arrival - March 2, 2023 We loved the cozy cabin, amazing location… it was v clean and convenient. The host was v responsive as well. We truly appreciate the “no WiFi” feature…. We played scrabble, foozball, chess, read books, chatted around the table, lots of fun and laughter. Very nice and very large place. Perfect for a group getaway.

My family and I shared this house with 3 other families. There was a ton of room for everyone to sleep. The kids really enjoyed the game room/loft. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you could ever need. It snowed over a foot on our final night and after digging out we had an awesome time skiing at Dodge Ridge. There is no internet or cell service in this location, which I love. The children quickly forgot about devices and actually played with each other, in the gameroom and out in the snow. This is the best house I've found in the Pinecrest area for a large group. We'll be back!

Nice size place

We had a great time at this place. Plenty of room for the number of people we had. Only two small problems one we could not use the oven due to it not cleaned properly and when we turned it on and it started smoking at the house. No big deal we barbecued all weekend. Other small issue was a limited bathrooms only two and taking showers was difficult especially with the size water tank that is there needed to space out showers 15 minutes apart to try and keep water warm. With the amount of people taking showers you had to save a lot of time before planning your day and going out. But overall nice quiet area peaceful place definitely would stay there again. PS maybe upsize the TV in the living room to a flat screen

Hi, thank you for the nice review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. As we discussed the guests before you burnt up something in the oven and they ran the self clean, which unfortunately just made a burnt sacrifice out of it. There's a flat screen TV upstairs in the game room... We do remind on our rental agreement and in the cabin binder to space out showers. It is a very cool big cabin. Great for family with kids

This was our second year renting this cabin and it is perfect for a large group with kids!! The kids absolutely love the loft area to play and sleep. Having their own space makes it so much more fun for them. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils for a full house. Also, Darlene is an AMAZING host and after 4 years we have had zero issues. She is always informative, timely in responses and accomodating!!

Thank you once again for being great return guests after 2 yrs at this cabin and 4 years of return visits, it's always a wonderful feeling to know you take good care of the cabins. We have so many return guests after 36 yrs of thousands of vacationers, we grateful in giving guests wonderful cabins to enjoy. We keep our prices competitive but high. We don't charge extra fees for things guests can safely bring from home. The cabin is close to all that the Pinecrest area has for adventures. It's a great space! We have been serving renters for 42 years and over half a million guests, with cabins of all sizes and from Pinecrest, Strawberry and Leland Meadows. From 1-7 bedrooms, sleeping 2-30, 1-4 baths. Great family fun vacation rentals. When we started 35 years ago the cabins didn't have TV, vcrs were new but we thought people would want the rest and relaxation of the great outdoors. The cabins had books and board games! There was no such thing as WiFi or cell phones. I still remember car phones in a bag in the 90's. Things have really changed since then. Now there's Verizon cell coverage. Originally I did it myself, booked, cleaned, hauled wood, shoveled snow. Then it became a family thing! My 7 kids grew up with the business. It's still very much a family business we all do our very best!
