Luxury 3BR Cabin 5 min Drive to Okemo and on Ski Shuttle Route

This contemporary and upscale cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6 people, and offers comfort, privacy, complete amenities, easy access, and all the beauty of the Okemo Valley. It’s an ideal accommodation choice for a family or a group of close friends looking for the ultimate mountain experience throughout the year.

The interior of the cabin boasts open living space with dark hardwood floors, illuminated by a skylight and glass patio doors. An airy living room features a wood burning fireplace that adds a touch of coziness to the space, inviting guests to lounge in front of a roaring fire (firewood is provided if needed). Specious rooms make it easy for small groups to stay together, while still feeling like there is room to breathe. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen-size beds, and Bedroom 3 has a pop-up trundle bed with 2 twin-size mattresses. Each bedroom has a large closet and a dresser.

Recently upgraded bathrooms include toiletries and create a spa like experience at home. A fully stocked kitchen is outfitted with high-end appliances and has everything guests need to prepare homemade meals. Just off a kitchen is a casual dining area with a picture window overlooking the backyard and Jewel Brook. This welcoming cabin also features a large patio with ample space for sunbathing and lounging, and a well-kept green lawn in the summer. Wireless internet access, a 43” flat-screen SMART TV (no cable TV) , and a collection of board games sure to satisfy entertainment needs during a vacation.

The cabin is located in Ludlow within a 15 minute walk to town shops, Shaw’s supermarket and restaurants, so if you need to head into town for groceries it’s less than a 5 minute drive. A free shuttle bus stops 3-4 min walk from the cabin, in front of the Mt. Laurel Ski Club Lodge. It operates on weekends and holidays, and takes passengers to the Okemo Clock Tower base area located 1.5 miles away. The road leading to the cabin is maintained and plowed on a regular basis so it’s easily accessible even when the snow falls.

Our guests would be pleased to discover that there is more to this area than Okemo’s slopes. For those who don’t ski downhill or ride mountain bicycles, you can fill your days with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, hiking, kayaking and swimming in nearby lakes, picnicking, antiquing and relaxing on a porch. The Okemo Valley offers scenic beauty year round and an escape from extreme heat in the summer, and if it gets too hot, the cabin has 2 air conditioners and ceiling fans in most rooms. You can also take advantage of the cabin’s ideal location during southern Vermont’s fall foliage season with some picturesque views within a short drive. Get your camera ready!
