Lovely house located on Lake Rescue home beautifully cared for. Has 3 bedrooms, 1 .5 bathrooms and a loft. Property is ideal for 6 people but can sleep up to 8.

It as a 55 ft of lake frontage with a dock, fire pit which is also used for BBQ.

The home is tastefully decorated updated furnishings and new wood floors. Enjoy a 12 x 25 foot deck seating area located outside of the living/dining area while looking over the beautiful lake. Main floor with vestibule entrance, open dining room and cozy living room with expansive windows. There is the with fireplace and half bath located on this floor.

Stairs lead to the 2nd floor with three bedrooms, full bath including walk in shower and back patio which also has stairs leading to the front and ground level. Another set of stairs which lead to the ā€œLoft Areaā€ 25x15 open space comfortable lounge area with a pull out queen sofa bed, TV, and breathtaking views of the lake.

The house is a great place to entertain after a day on the lake or out on the slopes.
Just a short drive to Okemo/Jackson Gore (2 miles), Golf Course and cross country skiing (2 .5 Miles ) and town of Ludlow is just 3 miles away. This is a fantastic location and an ideal home for all seasons.

Lakefront property has grassed front to the lake, fire pit, dinning table and lounge chairs, a dock with water toys, canons, and kayaks.

Great lake house stay

We had a great stay here with our 4 year old son. The house is rustic but comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The lake is serene and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Host is awesome! Very responsive and kind. House is super well stocked so you can just pack and arrive without having to hit the store and buy everything under the sun that you will never take back home with you. Location excellent. Cozy fireplace, games -- my teenage kids LOVED it!

Great place, love the frozen lake

Would stay again. David was very responsive and the frozen lake was fantastic to play with the kids. Saw a deer family and an eagle from the house and kids loved that.

Ski weekend

Stayed here for a long MLK ski weekend. Comfortable clean all as described. Proximity to okemo was best feature. On the lake, beautiful location.

Perfect house for a ski weekend

The cabin was a perfect home for a getaway ski weekend to Okemo. It was clean, cozy and David was so welcoming! It was an easy check in with the heat set and ready when we arrived! Already interested in coming back to try it out in the summer months and take advantage of the lake! Definitely recommend visiting the Cabin!

Family Ski Trip

This beautiful and cozy home was the perfect spot for our weekend get away and Ski trip. Host was excellent at communicating and assisting us. FYIā€”You must have 4-wheel drive vehicle during winter storm and weather to access the home and neighborhood. We hope to be back!!!!

Beautiful place on the lake

We absolutely loved our stay at this house on the lake. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The bedrooms have central air which is nice on a hot night! The lake was perfect for swimming. There are also canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards to use. The house was clean. The kitchen is well outfitted. The furniture is comfortable. Good communication from the owner. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely accommodations!!! Cozy and warm

Excellent time spent in the home and the area!! Okemo was the perfect mountain to introduce VT to our kids 13-18. Ludlow is a cute town with some good places to checkout. The location of the home was perfect. Nestled in the woods next to a beautiful lake. 10 min from Okemo and Ludlow. The home is warm, welcoming and cozy. The fireplace was thoroughly enjoyed. Perfect Ludlow Experience

We have been coming to Ludlow every fall since 1968. This property has all of the charm of the perfect Ludlow stay. The house is peaceful with space to relax (two separate lounge areas) and take it all in The house has the true VT built into the landscape feeling with sweeping views of the lake and the mountains. It is close to town and the area is perfect for heading out for long peaceful walks. The sleeping spaces were comfortable and had great views of the lake. We cooked, boated, walked, and relaxed. Catching a bald eagle scoping out the lake on the morning of our departure was the perfect ending to a great vacation! Rent this property with total confidence!

Perfect lake cabin for ski weekend at Okemo

Couldnā€™t ask for a better rental property. Located within 5 minutes from Jackson Gore parking lot, the cabin was clean and kitchen fully stocked for a quick getaway. Plenty of space for multiple familyā€™s and the fireplace set the mood for apres ski. David checked in to see what time we were arriving so he could crank up the heat and make sure it was nice and warm when we arrived late on Friday night. I highly recommend this rental for anyone coming up to Okemo for a ski trip. Great value for your money compared to other rentals in town. The view of the frozen lake was beautiful and quiet, canā€™t imagine how much nicer it would be in the summer.

Quirky Cottage with Stunning View

A gorgeous view on a beautiful lake. Lake Rescue is clean, refreshing, and just steps away from the cottage. We took advantage of the quality paddle boards and stable kayaks to explore Lake Rescue and the smaller, surrounding lakes. The location is premium in the summer for its view and lake, and in the winter, skiing is a only a few miles away. The cottage is rustic and that adds to the fun. Stunning views from the deck make- up for an average summer rental. Itā€™s a clean cottage with all youā€™ll need for a comfortable stay. Note: the beds are truly Full Size and mattresses are hard, but the linens were crisp. This is prime real estate and renters are paying for the view rather than the accommodations. So get ready for a nice cottage that smells as suchā€¦ a little damp and musty, some wet dog smell, with narrow, uneven stairs, a bathroom under the stairwell aā€™la Harry Potter, a cute side bedroom with a trundle bed, and a spacious loft. Itā€™s a mix of old and new, true of all real cottages. On a cottage wishlist would be a gas grill for effortless summer cooking. Enjoy your stay!

Beautiful lake, rustic house

Lake Rescue is a lovely, small lake with lots of homes and boats. Saw loons and a bald eagle perched in the trees several days of the week. Friendly neighbors. Access to paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe was perfect. A little disappointed the sunfish was not ready to sail. The house accommodated 5 of us very well. Pretty rustic, nothing fancy, with small bedrooms. Although the top floor is wonderful for one person. And the front deck is great. We had a wonderful time over one week and hope you do as well.

Great House!!

We had such a nice stay at David's place over the holiday weekend! The house is so comfortable and has plenty of space. It's located in a beautiful area and is very close/convenient to the mountain. It was a pleasure renting from David. He made the process very easy. We can't wait to go again!!

Relaxing at Lake Rescue

The property was perfectly situated on a cove on Lake Rescue. The property was clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped with all essentials. There were canoes , kayaks and paddleboards to use and keep everyone entertained and fit. This home is a true treasure! I can't wait to return!

Long Ski Weekend

I came with my family and my brother's (4 adults, and 4 young kids). Very cozy house, showed up and it was very welcoming... warm and cozy. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, a beautiful lakefront view and a roaring fire. Easy access to Okemo for skiing. No stress vacation.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Cabin overlooking Echo Lake. Loved the rustic feel and the view! It was a perfect location...close to Okemo for our snowboarders and close for us who wanted to sightsee, relax and enjoy the view. Very comfortable beds and furnishings. Easy check-in and a complimentary bottle of wine was really thoughtful. Thank you for sharing your home. We will definitely be back.

Amazing, Comfortable, Well Equipped Cabin on Beautiful VT Lake!

We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay. The cabin is beautiful land has everything! It is right on the water and an easy drive to Okemo and Ludlow. Communication with the owner was very easy and the entire stay was super smooth. We will definitely return. This is a great 3 season area (summer swimming, fall foliage, winter skiing)! My family had a great, relaxing vacation!

Everything was perfect. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the lake was beautiful. The cabin is in a little cove that is shallow for a few feet in, making it perfect for young ones to splash around in.

July trip

We had a great long weekend away on the lake, so quiet and relaxing. The view is beautiful especially from the deck. We had a great time swimming, kayaking, going into town just a few minutes away and visiting okemo. Would definitely recommend.
