The property was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. We enjoyed the open floor plan - perfect for meals and games and gab, as well as the gas fireplace, hot tub, outdoor fire pit and magnificent view of the valley. The location is great for those who want small-town vibes or natural beauty. The hosts were very timely and helpful in communicating with us before and during the stay.

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view! It has everything we needed. You can tell a lot of love went into decorating and stocking this home. We will definitely be back.

We booked for a last minute getaway & so glad we did. The cabin exceeded our expectations and we truly enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay here again. Communication was top notch as well!

The cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortable for spring break with 3 teenagers. The hot tub is one of the biggest I’ve ever seen! Excellent location and the overlook was spectacular. Well appointed and very cozy. Highly recommend!!

A quick little getaway

Bear’s Lair did not disappoint! It was well stocked with everything we could have needed, clean and comfortable! Seth was a great host and was very quick to respond when we needed him…other than that quick moment, everything went great! We laughed, played games, enjoyed the fire and the hot tub. 10/10 recommend staying in any of their properties!

Mostly good

Attractively decorated and liovely setting. No soap for either bath and HVAC system was not good. One upstairs bedroom was at least 10 degrees warmer than the set thermostat and downstairs bedroom was at least five degrees cooler.

It was all good, the only hiccup was several times when coming back to the cabin and trying to access the combination lock to enter, I had to re-enter the code 10 or more times, two days in a row and the day before we left, it wouldn't work at all. They had to give me the code for the keybox and use a key to actually enter. Seems like the first time it took 10 times, they should've check it then. Other than that, it was a great experience. That third day between my wife and I we entered the code 75 times at least and I told the people answering the Vrbo message, if it's like this when we get ready to go home tomorrow, I'll now fool around with this, this many times, it'll be left unlocked. Do something, it's not my responsibility! Her answer was for security, don't go off with it unlocked, then they gave me the code for the keybox access. WOW, you have to actually let them know there are consequences to their inaction!!
