WINTER/SPRING/SUMMER/FALL -we are 4 Season!!!! Highland Manor is next door to WISP and in the Spring and Summer - we now have a DOCK SLIP as well! Summer Weekly rentals include family passes to the Sate Park/Beach, boat slip and access to the indoor aquatic and fitness center, firewood for fire-pit and movie cards.
Enjoy the lake and many fun activities, soak in the heated indoor pool and hot tub. In the Winter enjoy skiing, snow tubing etc...
Being situated at the pinnacle of Marsh Mountain, Highland Manor is a stately vacation retreat that can easily accommodate any gathering...family and friends or a Corporate Retreat!

This beautiful home features stylish decor throughout the spacious interior. Your guests will appreciate the privacy afforded by the 6 master suites (5 King, 1 Queen) and 2 shared Queen bedrooms (one with a bunk bed too). ***Your private indoor pool is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Experience the sights and sounds of the surrounding natural environment from the expansive deck, a relaxing spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Have some delicious S'mores by our fire-pit in the evening! Catch some rays by the community outdoor pool, play a game of tennis or check out the activities at nearby Wisp Resort and Adventure Sports Center International. Centrally located, restaurants, state parks and shopping are all within a short drive.
The club fee includes free access to the indoor aquatic and fitness center, welcome firewood and wine, neighborhood amenities and dedicated dock slip in the summer.

Family Golf Weekend

Great home for a large group needing space. Pool and hot tub were great, living area was huge and accommodated a large group. Some appliances could use updating, dishwashers and outdoor grill(unusable), but overall was very good.

Great stay

We decided to do a last minute weekend trip for the 4th and we couldn’t have had a better experience! All of my communications with Laurie from check in to check out were helpful and she responded quickly! We had a slight problem with an electric outage in part of the house and she quickly got someone over to help us. The gated community was beautiful and quiet. The pool and hot tub kept all six of our kids occupied for hours. It turned out to be an incredible weekend with many memories made!

Wonderful winter vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Highland Manor! The upper level offered tons of space for our large family group to gather and play pool, games and chat without being on top of one another. We also enjoyed the indoor pool on the lower level. A highlight was sitting in the hot tub while it snowed around us on our last night. Laurie was a very thoughtful and responsive host!

Great choice for family of diverse ages

spacious enough for 8 kids (4-17) and 8 adults to find their own nook. indoor pool was great attraction as was pool table. kitchen was large enough to allow multiple cooks to do their thing simultaneously. house is nestled among woods that makes for relaxing environment...proximity to local amenities and attractions a real plus as well

Great house for large groups

House was clean . Really enjoyed the layout with most of the bedrooms in the basement and the large open area upstairs. House was extremely clean upon arrival. Indoor pool area was a perfect 75 degrees. Excellent house. Would definitly recommend to anyone and would absoluty consider re booking

Great for large gatherings!

The house is enormous. The main floor has so many spaces all connected. The family could be all together no matter what everyone was doing. We were cooking, playing games, watching football, building jigsaw puzzles all at the same time in the same room. It was perfect!

Family Getaway

The house was very spacious and in a wonderful neighborhood. We brought our 5 adult children with their families or significant others. Great space, large bedrooms and baths, pool was fun and plenty to do We loved seeing deer in the back yard and right on the driveway. Laurie was great to work with - very attentive and had wine waiting for us! She also made our stay relaxing with firewood ready to go!

The house was all and more than we expected. We had stayed next door, saw this house with the indoor pool and wished we had stayed here. We used all 8 bedrooms and no one felt crowded. There were a few minor issues upon arrival and Laurie, the owner addressed them immediately.

Beautiful. But

How was beautifully laid out. The location was great and the pool was great as well. The cleanliness of house was left to be desired. There’s alot of deferred maintenance that needs to be taken care of.

Lovely home

The property owner (Laurie)was excellent! She called before we arrived to let us know there was a problem with the previous renters causing some destruction to the yard and fire pit. When we arrived I took pictures of any problems that I had seen with the inside of the home and let her know. The maintenance person came and fixed everything except for parts that needed ordering. That however did not affect our stay. The house was perfect for our family and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Thank you Laurie for going above and trying to make our stay a memorable one.

Perfect for Family holiday

The living space in this house is perfect for large family gatherings. We had our 7 grands, ages 3-8 and 8 adults. The little ones loved the pool, and had a blast on the lower level. The spacious well equipped kitchen was great for preparing meals. The extra large dining table accommodated us all together which was so nice for dining and games. Lots of seating and gathering areas. Laurie, the owner is super responsive. Not easy to get our family to all agree on anything, but everyone said this house made for a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

Great for a large family

We had a large group with multiple families with young kids and had more than enough space. We loved the layout of the house, especially all the master bedrooms and that we could sit together in a large group for meals. The indoor pool was great for the young kids. This property would have been a five except that the outdoor community pool is closed for the season and had we known that before booking we would have went with another house. The state park passes and day access to the beach were nice though.

Room for everyone! 6 Master Suites and more! Indoor pool with security (didn't have to worry about the younger ones)! Railey was difficult to reach at times, but communication with the host, Laurie was excellent! Having passes to the State Park was great. A very comfortable beach. The cleaning was very spotty, some good and some areas seem to be left unattended. Laurie was notified and is working with Railey.The walk to the lake is not as advertised (13 min walk and a picture of the "Trail to Lake"). We found out that the trail is closed and could never find the trail head. We finally found the neighborhood dock after asking Laurie for detailed directions (later I found it a few clicks into the Railey Web site). Its a very nice area to take a Kayak from and hang in the shaded area on some Adirondack chairs there on a small deck. A lot of wonderful family memories made.

Long weekend get away with friends

What an amazing trip! This was the third time we did a neighborhood getaway with our group of five families (10 adults and 9 kids). This house was beyond perfect- there was enough rooms, bathrooms, and beds for everyone. The kitchen is huge and open to the second level so folks cooking can still hangout and be part of the fun. The kids loved the pool table and of course the pool. The adults loved the ability to watch the kids through the large windows so they could watch- but not have to hear all the noise. The hot tub was a hit for everyone- perfect after a day at wisp. Speaking of wisp- this location is perfect- short drive to skiing, tubing or whatever activities you choose to do. The extra icing on the cake was the excellent customer service we received- between the wine and extra firewood at checkin to the quick replies when I emailed with questions or concerns. We are already planning for our trip next year!

BLESS THIS HOUSE WITH LOVE & LAUGHTER

We visited Deep Creek for a large family getaway on an extended weekend and Highland Manor exceeded our expectations. The home was accurately depicted in it's description as well as the photos. Upon arrival the home was very clean, and we all had fun picking out who gets which bedroom; although they were all wonderful. The open floor plan with the kitchen, great room, dining area, and pool table area was awesome! The biggest amenity for our family was the indoor pool & hot tub located outside. We had some rain over the weekend but the kids had a blast swimming. The kitchen and dining areas were fantastic as well, sitting our whole family. Saturday night we had a steak night on the charcoal grill which was great! The owner was nothing but helpful, friendly, very easy to talk with, as well as do business. THANK YOU for our stay, we were blessed with love & laughter as the sign above the front door states.

Family Winter Vacation Perfection!

Highland Manor was the perfect house for our family vacation that included two families and a total of six children ranging from infant to 8 years old. The open layout let the parents enjoy some space while also being able to keep an eye on all the kids. Not only were there bedrooms to spare, but everyone slept incredibly well. The adults unanimously agreed that these were the best mattresses in a rental we have ever experienced. It is easy to say that the highlight for everyone was the indoor pool. The kids got in it twice a day and wore themselves out, and the parents who weren't on lifeguard duty were able to take a nap or prepare meals uninterrupted. Other standouts: the house was spotless; the property management was stellar - we needed the driveway plowed and they were there within the hour and one drawer of personal items was accidentally left behind and they were found and mailed back to us; lastly the local area had well taken care of playgrounds and fabulous hikes. We all returned from our week in Deep Creek unexpectedly rested with many wonderful memories.

Family mini vacation

We recently stayed at this location for a Fall family getaway. The house was everything we expected based on the pictures, description and prior reviews. The check in and check out process was very easy. The property management company and owner were very responsive with any questions or concerns. Great customer service on their part. The great room on the upper level of the house was huge and able to handle lots of people. There are 8 bedrooms with lots of bathrooms and space if you want some privacy. The house is in a great location near the lake, ski resort, restaurants, breweries, places to shop and outdoor activities. We loved the area as it was so beautiful. Definitely a place to go back to.
