Comfortable, Relaxing & Enjoyable Home in Tahoe Keys!

Awestruck upon seeing South Lake Tahoe for the first time in 1862, Mark Twain uttered, “It must surely be the fairest picture the whole world affords.”

Come enjoy the fairest picture of South Lake Tahoe year-round in our comfortable, conveniently located, and relaxing Tahoe home. This home is single level, (Approx. 1680 Sq. Ft.) with three bedrooms (plus an additional sleeping area containing a bunk bed located off of the master bedroom) and has two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have flat screen televisions, master Bedroom has DVD player and the living room has a 55 inch flat screen with a DVD player. We also have three fireplaces - two gas fireplaces inside and another outside on the deck, Deck also equipped with a Weber gas barbecue and teak patio set! The kitchen comes well equipped with appliances and basic cooking supplies. Our laundry has a washer, dryer, ironing board, and iron for guests’ convenience. Please reference the last picture posted on my add it is a to scale sketch of the floor plan of my home and includes size and number of beds in each bedroom.

Lake Tahoe makes a perfect vacation paradise no matter what time of year! In the winter, guests can choose from numerous ski resorts in the Tahoe Basin. The prestigious Heavenly is located only 5 miles away and boasts the largest snow making and grooming fleet on the West Coast ! The views from atop Heavenly are absolutely breathtaking. Alternatively, select from an abundance of trails for Nordic skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling.

During the summer, activities include Swimming, hiking, biking, rock climbing, boating, sailing, kayaking, fishing, and horseback riding. Guests can even take a dinner tour of Lake Tahoe aboard the Tahoe Queen. Or simply relax on the deck with a good book and cool beverage!

Our home is conveniently located in the community of South Lake Tahoe .
Please note As more than one potential guest sometimes inquire about the same date, no rental is final until the Rental Agreement/Lease, and payment form are returned to owner completely filled out, and Credit Card payment is approved. Sorry No Pets/No Smoking, Please. Thank You.
PS. There is no boat dock, or Hot Tub/ Spa at my home. Sorry for that Folks.

Tom was wonderful to work with and the location of this property can’t be beat. Short walk or bike to the beach, close to the state line, and plenty of room for your group.

Great stay

This house feels like a home and has everything needed. The large sunny dining room was a nice place to gather to eat and play board games. The large sectional couch was very comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.

A lovely little property in the Tahoe Keys

My friends and I checked in and found the place clean, nicely decorated, and well-kept. Communication from the owner was clear and contained all of the info we needed. We even saw a black bear on the property!

Great size house with plenty of space. We had 4 people- could easily have slept 10.

Very Nice House!

Very convenient for biking and the Tahoe Keys. Really appreciated the garage for our E-bikes! Comfortable beds, nice backyard, convenient BBQ and deck and condiments (YAY!)

Relaxation and Paradise!

What a great, relaxing vacation! The location is great and close to amenities! The house is so warm, very clean, and quite inviting. We loved the bikes, the beautiful lake, the hiking, and the Weber grill! We 3 girls thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a fantastic girls weekend...we can't wait to come back again!

Great House! Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay in this nicely appointed home. It was clean and well maintained. This home shows pride of ownership. Located in a beautiful subdivision with channel access to Lake Tahoe, two swimming pools, one indoors and one outdoors, jacuzzi tubs, and tennis courts.

Awesome stay!

Tom's place was very spacious and perfectly suited for a weekend away with friends! The house itself has a warm and welcoming feel to it with a large dining and living area. Tom was incredibly kind and communicative. He even returned a friend's lost keys via mail. We will definitely be going back!

Tom's place was the best !!!

A group of friends and I stayed at Tom's place for New Year's Eve. The cabin was great; it fit all of our needs. Plenty of beds, roomy kitchen equipped with everything needed, nice open floor plans. Definitely has the home vibe which is very welcoming when on vacation. I would recommend Tom's cabin to all and would absolutely stay there again !! Thanks Tom !!

Tahoe Roadtrip

the property is located within the beautiful Tahoe Keys. A perfect place to run, bike and play. The private beach was a big perk for our family. The house is very spacious and clean. The patio with an outdoor fireplace is the perfect spot to relax after a long day on the lake and enjoy the fire. This house was everything we hoped it would be and more.

Very good expereience

This property is close enough to everything without having to deal with traffic being nearby. Lots of room for guests to each have a space in the house. Loved the dining room and the many windows. The very clean inside community pool and outside hot tub cost a small fee but are well worth it. Owner was quick to respond to any questions and accommodating to our requests.

Tahoe trip

We had 6 adults on our trip. Tom's place was perfect! It was a great location and the house itself was a great spot to stay and hang out. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and bbq greatly. There was a wealth of information about the area inside the house as well. Tom also had some beach equipment to use when we went down to any of the beaches. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great place to stay in south lake Tahoe!

Great location and great accommodations. Great Internet service when everyone is gaming or on tablets or computers. great house. great location. lots of dishes/cups. lots of pots/pans (though some of the were a little old and scratched up). We still enjoyed the house. bathrooms/kitchen a little dated. but it was all that we needed, and a great value. thank you! Would stay again.

Fantastic relaxing getaway!

We had a great stay! The house was very spacious and clean. Big couch with lots of seating for movies in the evening. No shortage of towels which is nice. The house is in the keys which is close enough to all amenities but not in the middle of the highly congested area of heavenly village. Everything is a short drive. We love the keys neighborhood because of the playground, indoor/outdoor pool areas, and lots of walking areas. We also got to see bears!! We look forward to visiting again!

VRBO listing accurate. Not decorated in modern motif but clean and comfortable. As a retired chef I found kitchen stove exasperating but managed to avoid going hungry. Would return without hesitation and come with a couple more rolls of paper products. Tom is attentive and responsive to our needs and interests.

Family getaway

Tom was great with communicating with us prior to our stay. The large main TV had gone out, so he offered us a full refund if we wanted to cancel or $25 off each nights stay. We didn’t really miss not having one. Our toddler watched her shows in her bedroom. His home had beds galore and plenty of linens and towels. The side deck was wonderful in the evenings. A fireplace and little white lights make it very inviting to sit and chat. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, and pans. Wonderful stay!! Thank you Tom !!

Cozy, spacious home with everything we needed

We had a wonderful stay at Tom's lovely home. We really appreciated the spacious layout (more than enough beds), cozy living room with gas fireplace, and well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, glasses, plates, pans, and condiments. There was a massive snowstorm prior to our stay and Tom kindly ensured the driveway was plowed in advance of our arrival. Our arrival was also pushed back a day due to the storm and he very generously offered to allow us to stay an additional night to make up for it, which is going above and beyond as a host. I frequently stay in vacation homes and most are bare bones when it comes to cooking supplies. I really appreciated that this place had quality knives and all necessary gadgets and utensils to prepare and serve meals. The garage was also well stocked with beach chairs and bicycles available for guest use. I would love to come back and stay again! One thing to note is that the bathrooms have minimal toiletries, so please make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.

Great vacation at Lake Tahoe while staying at Tom's Tahoe Keys House

We decided to make a quick getaway to Lake Tahoe and Tom was very accommodating to make his house ready for us on such short notice. When we arrived at the house, we noticed how clean and well kept the house looked. The house has a nice open concept and there is plenty of room in the kitchen/dining area for everyone to gather around. The patio is enclosed and has a nice barbecue and table which we used to cook dinner one night. The bedrooms are a nice size and there are plenty of comfortable beds. The house is very well organized and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware. My wife loved Tom's smartphone book which had information on Lake Tahoe such as the history of Lake Tahoe, dining, activities, etc. We used the bicycles at the house for our daily rides to get coffee and to ride the trails. The bikes are in great shape and worked fine. The house location is next to the pools, beach and tennis courts. This is a quiet neighborhood so it was nice to sit outside at night on the patio. I have been telling my friends about this great vacation home and my family plans to use it again next summer. Thanks Tom!!!!!

Amazing vacataion home in Tahoe Keys neighborhood

This amazing home makes any dream vacation in South Lake Tahoe possible. We were so lucky to have found it on VRBO. The house is so clean and immaculate, with beautiful hardwood floors throughout the home, and has a great location near the Grocery Outlet and local markets. The living room has a large comfortable sofa for everyone to spread out on for those late night movies. Lots of beds for everyone to choose from. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need to prepare meals. Plenty of bath towels folded and stacked so neatly upon arrival. And there are five bicycles in the garage for use, as the home is very close to the paved bike path that runs to and past Camp Richardson. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, along with a beautiful private beach and several tennis courts.Especially useful was the step ladder in the garage so that we could get our luggage back on the roof of the car when we left. As for the owner, he always answered our questions via email or text, and seems very friendly, treating us as if we were family. I think we will call him Papa Tom from now on. We give this property a five star rating and can't wait to come back again.

Great for a quick family trip!!

Communication with owner was perfect!! We stayed for a long weekend to attend a family wedding. Our party consisted of ourselves and our adult children and their spouses. Couch was super comfy- beds were okay. The place is clean and stocked. Would definitely stay again.
