Relaxing ladies vacation

Cottage was nice. Location great. Could have used another chair in living room and grab bar in shower. A covering would be nice for deck so you could sit outside and listen to water if raining. Also an outside light would be helpful.All in all we were pleased. Would and will probably go back!!

Great Value and Location!

Booked this stay as a last minute getaway to Pigeon Forge and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and accommodations for the price! The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean. The house is definitely an older property, so there are so little quirks (example: one of the plugs behind the king bed was too loose to hold a phone charger) but nothing that made any kind of major inconvenience. Thanks for a great stay!!

Great location

Overall this was a good place to stay if youā€™re looking for closeness and no amenities. The house does smell musty and is in need of a new roof. Itā€™s not exactly as pictured on the outside. Needs a mirror in one of the bedrooms and more seating in the living room. Bathroom toilet area is tiny and awkward. Outlets need to be changed in several places as most cords donā€™t stay in them. Lacking outdoor lighting on the back porch, the post lights are not bright. Property was pretty clean, and as described in the listing. Needs better communication about WiFi access and how to use the entry lock on the front door. They all operate differently. The code I was sent in the email to access the house was not the correct one. Realized it was sent in the messages only because I was trying to get a hold of the host who didnā€™t answer my call nor could I leave a message because her voicemail box was full. If you are looking for basic at a decent price and great location this property is for you.

Location was perfect! House smelled clean when we walked in. There was no clear direction on where to dispose of trash. Was told house keeping would be sent for towels and trash but never came. Also, beware of tree sap our car was covered and it made the kitchen floor sticky. But back yard was nice with creek and ducks to watch. Enjoyed our stay!

Had a faint odor as if it has been smoked in at some point, but not strongā€¦could just be age. Itā€™s RIGHT IN TOWN. That can be a pro or a con depending on what youā€™re looking for in your stay. We didnā€™t spend much time in the cottage as we had plans all day every day, so it worked well for what we needed. Great price!

Check in was easyā€¦. Musty smell when we walked inā€¦.. bathroom super small with only 2 towels for 4 peopleā€¦. Didnā€™t realize that a dresser in main bedroom was full of towels until night before we leftā€¦wasnā€™t labeledā€¦. Tubs faucet was loose and tub wasnā€™t draining properly so messaged owner with no responseā€¦.Kitchen had 3 forks for 4 peopleā€¦ need more furniture to accommodate up to 8 people (house holds 8 guests ) Communication with owner was horrible.. she never responded to me with our concerns but at-least she knew about them.. great location for attractions..home was updated cosmetically insideā€¦ back porch needs better lightingā€¦ house needs gutters.. nothing but rain when we stayed and no gutters ā€¦. overall price not badā€¦ easy to hook up to WiFi and decent channels for TVā€¦I probably will not book it again due to no communication

Check in was fairly easy. When we got there the WiFi was not working and tried to get in touch with owner and response time was horrible. When we got there the garden hose was stretched out. Total trip hazard for littles. Bunk room tv was messed up. Absolutely no cartoons for children and back deck had screws popping up that snagged our feet. No dish washer soap no trash bag to take our trash out. Very old but well updated. Beautiful creek view. Big ant problem. Traffic all hours was horrible.

Property management leaves much to be desired.

Not clean, poor communication

The place was perfect for 3 and the location was great!! BUT upon our arrival the place was found uncleaned from the guests before us. I attempted to reach out to the property manager via phone several times and was sent to voicemail; which was full. With no luck, I reached out to VRBO customer service whose only way to resolve was to email the manager. After approximately 90 min, 3 men showed up to clean the cabin and advised the maids forgot to clean the unit. They cleaned the unit: however, we had to vacate the cabin for this to occur. Iā€™ve attempted to receive a partial refund for the inconvenience and the manager has yet to respond after attempts from me and VRBO. Unacceptable! Sad, because had the manager done the right thing I would highly recommend.

Close to town but nice and quiet by the river.

The house was nice only small con is the tiny bathroom worked fine for us but could be a problem for some. The location is perfect walking distance to the main strip, 5 min drive to Dollywood, and they rent side by sides across the street. Itā€™s nice coming back to a home after adventuring out for the day and not back to some regular old hotel. We would absolutely stay here again when back in town!

Everything was great except the bathroom is really small and mirrors are needed in the bedrooms so everyone is able to get ready (put on makeup, fix hair, etc.) at the same time since there is only 1 bathroom. Other than that it was a great place to stay.
