Welcome to Mountainside Villas at Massanutten


Whether you are planning or romantic getaway, or looking to spend quality time with the family, Mountainside Villas is the perfect escape! These spacious two-bedroom townhomes pair an authentic mountain setting with unique amenities. Warm up by the fireplace in the comfortable living room, cook a meal for the family in the fully equipped kitchen, sit back and relax in the jetted tub and private sauna, or breathe in the fresh mountain air while observing local wildlife from the private decks. The lower level includes a living area with a queen sleeper sofa, a dining room, a full kitchen, one full bathroom with a sauna, and a private deck, while the upper level includes one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, a loft area with two twin beds, one full bathroom, and a second private deck.


Mountainside Villas is located at Massanutten Resort, a premier four-season destination in the Shenandoah Valley. With popular attractions like the Indoor/Outdoor WaterPark, Mountain Greens and Woodstone Meadows 18-hole golf courses, The Spa at Massanutten, and the Family Adventure Park, Massanutten has something for everyone. Interested in adventures off the resort? The surrounding Shenandoah Valley offers plenty of exciting shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation experiences that you will not want to miss out on.


Each Mountainside Villa rental comes with 8 complimentary recreation passes to Massanutten Fitness & Rec Club (MFRC), which offers a variety of fun activities. Guests can stay active year-round with indoor offerings like the heated indoor pool, fitness center, game room, indoor basketball court, and racquetball courts, or head outside for sand volleyball, basketball, tennis, and horseshoes.

The unit was clean and comfortable for three adults and two children. It was located half mile from the ski lodge. Amenities were as promised. We participated in ice skating, The Perfect Break, skiing and indoor swimming. Food options were sufficient.

Great getaway spot. Good location, great skiing. The unit had everything we needed. Although the temps were below freezing during our stay, the heater working to keep up with setting at 70 and unit in high 60s. Hot water excellent and sauna good recovery after all day on the slopes. Thumbs up for R&R.

The host was amazing during check-in and the house was incredible my grandkids, daughter and myself enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to leave. The sauna and the hot tub was a bonus Christmas present!

Great location for visiting Shenandoah National Park!

Rental was cozy and fit the description. The property but a bit dated but everything was functional except the jet whirlpool tub which was a bit moldy. The kitchen was well stocked.

Home away from home

This was a wonderful place to stay. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you would need to cook a meal. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property Close To Slopes

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was perfect and very comfortable, especially the beds. The location was perfect and only a couple minutes to the slopes. We really enjoyed watching all of the deer out back and my kids loved playing in the woods behind the house. Would definitely stay here again!

This was my first time using Verbo to book a stay. My assumption was, I would get to the lodging and use the provided code to access the building. However, I was instructed to visit the reception center where I was given a different code and had to make an additional deposit to cover damage fees in the event something was damaged. This was something I hadn’t expected, but I handled it. As far as the lodging, it was great. It was clean. All the TVs worked, and the kitchen appliances were in acceptable condition. The sauna was a nice touch. It was a relaxing day and I enjoyed it. But as I said, a couple of items just needed to be made a little more clear unless I just misread it

Great location

Great location. Well stocked. Comfortable and spacious. Check out time is pretty early with respect to going through all of the check out procedures. (Especially if you have children)

Good option for families with kids

This is a townhouse located in Massanutten VA, it has two spacious bedroom, with everything essential included for a comfortable stay, the biggest bathroom with sauna is on the main level. There is a spacious kitchen with washer and dryer. Lots of deers around :) The linens, mattresses, and some furniture could use an upgrade, but it is ok for the price we paid. Overall, we had a great time there and would recommend it to others

Perfect location and deer!

Wonderful stay. Plenty of room. Comfortable beds. Close to the ski slopes, tubing hill and water park. In the evening, we saw a herd of 10 deer outside the parking lot and then the next morning another two outside the back windows. My only criticism is that the kitchen could be stocked a little more. Most VRBOs we have stayed at have the bare necessities like salt, pepper, sugar…etc. Well, there was sugar, but only 4 little packets, so come prepared!

Perfect weekend family!

We spent 2 days with our teenage boys. House was nice and clean, everything was as advertised and meet our expectations. I was impressed with checking in, lady at the reception provided information about the resort and all the things we can use and see. I was very pleased. We did mountain biking, hiking and zip line. Went to indoor pool and jacuzzi. Overall lots of activity for entertainment and relax. Check out was easy. We had so much fun.
