Nestled in the Ojai Valley's Meiners Oaks, affectionately named "Mo Town", this delightful studio is a wonderful retreat for guests. With its charming decor and natural light, this cozy space offers a comfortable country retreat. The sleeping space features a high quality queen bed with high quality linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom is equipped with a refreshing shower, hair dryer, fresh towels and toiletries for your convenience. Stay connected with WiFi and Direct TV. Includes a minisplit for dedicated heating and AC, that guests control. Kitchenette is equipped with mini fridge, freezer, microwave, induction hot plate, tea kettle and coffee maker-sorry no stove. Although this studio is connected to the main house privacy is guaranteed. Includes private off street gated parking and EV charging is available on request. Casa Esquina is just a short 7 minute drive to downtown Ojai and sits with convenient access to both highway 150 and the 33.

Casa Esquina sits steps away from the Ojai Trolley stop, get to know the Ojai Valley like a local. Hiking Trails in the Ventura River Preserve run adjacent to the house as is the Ojai Bike Trial and Horseback Riding facilities. Whether you're exploring the city or simply relaxing indoors, our property provides the perfect home away from home for your vacation. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place. Absolutely no smoking of any kind - not 420 friendly.

We welcome pets (please no more than two pets per stay) we might request an extra deposit, deposit is fully refundable after check out and inspection. Although we are pet friendly and are willing to make all possible accommodations for Service Animals, pets and Emotional Support Animals the yard is not suited for dogs to be off leash.

We honestly didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment because we were busy exploring Ojai (which is the most magical place!), but the hostess Camilla was great and provided everything we needed! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, and there was a bottle of wine and cookies awaiting us when we arrived! Coffee/tea and cereals were provided for the morning. And it was in a great location close to everything we wanted to do. Five stars!

The space was charming and comfortable. Extra amenities like milk and coffee made it easy to show up after a flight and not have to immediately go to a store, very helpful and thoughtful. Everything was easy to use and navigate from location to turning on the heater.

Camilla has created a beautiful space that is so welcoming that you never want to leave. Honestly, if it had rained during my days there I wouldn’t have minded at all snuggling up in the space for three days! Very clean with all the amenities plus more if necessary. Lots of little extras provided in the kitchenette and the bathroom and the off street parking were nice bonuses. Camilla was quick to reply to any messages. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy get away space close to Ojai and the surrounding area.
This frog greets you in the driveway and is exactly how I felt during my stay.

This place worked out perfectly for our visit. We were spending time with our daughter and her family who live in Ojai. The space is warm and welcoming, very clean, and tastefully decorated. We felt quite pampered with a very comfortable bed, soft, fluffy towels and the bottle of wine & cookies. Neighborhood is quiet, and there is easy access to the bike path and the river. I would highly recommend this place!!

Great cottage stay near Ojai!

My partner and I had a really nice stay here. It was in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything within a 10 minute drive for our weekend getaway. The cottage itself was just the right amount of space for the two of us and was comfortable all around. I'd plan to stay here again on a future trip back.

Every thing was fantastic! So much thought about what guests would need including a shopping bag. Beautifully decorated. The couch and the bed were extremely comfortable. The bedding was soft and inviting. The heating and a/c unit was very easy to operate. Outside the grounds were beautiful. There were several giant live oak trees on the property. Gated parking. Very scene and secure. Best place ever.!!!

Honeymoon Getaway

The perfect place to stay! We enjoyed every aspect of this warm,whimsical and delightful vacation home: Quiet neighborhood close to town and Lake Casitas. Kitchenette had all supplies, very nice size bathroom with all toiletries; so much comfort. Host was super grear! Always in communication and concerned about your comfort! We highly recommend this vacation home for that special getaway!!

Camilla is an excellent host. Her communication was great, and directions were easy to follow. I only had a brief stay, but wish I could've been there longer. The location was perfect and had everything I needed for a short visit. You can really tell Camilla thought of the little details that make a difference

The Casa is cute and cozy. The hostess left us a bottle of wine and a package of Pepperidge Farm lemon Ojai cookies.It rained a lot during our stay but there were bookcases with interesting reads. You could travel to several countries through the books while keeping warm and dry.I went through the Bayern (Bavarian) cookbook, all in German, and picked out several authentic recipes.Everything in Ojai is close and the Casa is a few minutes from Meiners Oaks with the pizza place we like. A few minutes more and you are in Ojai proper.It stopped raining the day we left and we were treated with a beautiful double rainbow as we stepped outside.We hope to come back to Ojai when the weather is better and will check to see if the Casa is available. Prost to Camilla!

All was well. Good communication with host. Clean and comfortable. The only issue for us is that we often bring our own food. There is only a microwave and the only available sink is in the bathroom. Made it challenging to prepare food.

Dear Robin, it was such a pleasure hosting you. Yes it is true food prep resources are limited due to county restrictions on construction. There is an induction hot plate, portable hood, toaster, pots and pans in the cupboards of the kitchenette so there are some additional food preparation options besides the microwave. We are also happy to wash dishes in the dishwasher in the main house to address the sink situation. Would love to install a kitchen sink, but building codes of been quite restrictive on this matter. Safe travels please consider us in your future travels ☺️

A really sweet place, pretty chill location away from the bustle of Ojai while still convenient to dining and shopping. Everything was as represented and ready when we arrived-complete with wine and cookies! The kitchenette is fine for a simple breakfast, lunch and thoughtfully stocked with some staples. The wifi was easily accessed, we did not turn on the tv. The bedding was nice though the bed is a little noisy. The bath is well appointed with shampoo. Etc, plenty of hot water. Camilla was a responsive communicator. Off street parking is a plus. We would definitely return.

Perfect weekend getaway in Ojai

If you're planning a weekend getaway in Ojai, this is the perfect place to stay. Camilla - the owner - was super friendly and communicative throughout our entire stay. She even gifted us a bottle of rose and heart-shaped cookies (I think homemade) upon our arrival on Valentine's weekend. Not only is her place adorable, warm, and clean, but it's in a great neighborhood/area only a 5-8 minute drive from downtown Ojai. It felt super safe and quaint, and all neighbors so friendly. I honestly can't recommend this place enough. Especially for the price and location, I don't think you can beat this! Will definitely be staying at hers again next time my boyfriend and I are visiting the area.

Hidden Gem of the Ojai Valley

If you are looking for a great place to stay with a great price this place is it! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The house was clean, well kept and clean. Amenities were as listed and as described. There is no stove or oven so don’t plan on cooking unless you are using the microwave, but with all the amazing food locally we never felt the need to cook in.We would stay here again for sure. The hosts were very nice and kept appropriate interaction and made sure we were ok. Ojai is about a 7min drive from the property and was off highway so it was nice and quiet at night. Great place, great hosts. 5 stars.

It was a delight hosting you are your family! I so wish the County would allow us to install a stove, but alas ordinances would don’t permit. We do have a toaster, induction hotplate and portable cooking hood in the cupboard which allows for some light cooking, but it is limited to just that. Please DO consider us for your future stays we would be honored to host you again!
