This newly updated 2nd row 5-bedroom 3.5 bath home is located in the desirable North Forest Beach community, just steps to the sand, and has wonderful ocean views from its wraparound deck. The home also has a heated pool*, fenced-in yard, along with your own private Tiki Bar with an outdoor refrigerator, ice maker and HD TV. The backyard oasis also features a ping pong table, pool basketball and is truly a great place to relax after a fun day at the beach. Inside you will find a spacious living room surrounded by windows with spectacular views of the ocean. Relax and take in the amazing views or unwind and watch your favorite shows on a 70-inch HD TV.



The newly remodeled kitchen is a true showpiece, blending modern coastal style with thoughtful functionality. Crisp cabinetry, countertops, and stainless steel appliances create a bright, airy space thatā€™s as beautiful as it is practical. A professional-style gas range, ample prep space, and custom storage make cooking for family and friends effortless. Enjoy your morning coffee at the coffee bar, gather around the adjacent dining area, or take in the natural light while tackling the dishes. This kitchen is designed for relaxed coastal livingā€”perfect for everything from quick breakfasts to memorable vacation meals.



The first of 4 main king bedrooms is a roomy bedroom equipped with a reclaimed wood king-size bed, a work desk, a comfortable chair, flat screen HD TV, and a private bathroom with a tub.



The second main bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed, dresser, closet, flat screen HD TV, private toilet area, and a shared jack and jill shower.



The third main bedroom is furnished with a reclaimed wood king-size bed, dresser, closet, flat screen HD TV, private toilet area, and a shared jack and jill shower.



The second and third main bedrooms are adjoined by a jack-and-jill shower that can be used by either room, each has a private toilet area.



There are 2 guest bedrooms upstairs. The first guest bedroom features 1 double XL bed and a twin bed. The second guest bedroom has a bunk bed (twin XL over king). Both rooms have flat screen HD TV's, closets and share a hall bathroom. Each room has separate temperature climate controls.



We will never forget your pooch so check out the pet lounge located along the side of the house. The house is also equipped with a wraparound deck, full laundry facilities, cable TV/WiFi, and a grill.



No need to bring a cooler, cornhole, beach toys, or beach chairs because this house is fully equipped. Just grab your family and sunscreen and head to the beach! Come and enjoy the island life and all it has to offer in this gem.



The pool can be heated for an additional fee of $700 per week. Please specify during your reservation if you need the pool heated.

Perfect vacation house

3 families came together for vacation and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for all. Very short walk to the beach, plus you could see the water. Very quiet neighborhood. Tiki bar with the TV and ice maker was an absolute hit. WE all hope to vacation here again.

Dog-friendly vacation

This property was a pleasant surprise. It has an ocean view, a beautiful pool, and lots of outdoor areas for relaxing or working. This house is a dog owners dream - there was a special pool for them and the yard is fenced so they could run around and get in the shade. We loved this house and hope to return to it next year!

Excellent location

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. This property is just steps away from the beach and had all the creature comforts we needed. The pool was a great addition and I believe this house would work great for families or couple looking to have a relaxing beach stay. My one note would be the grill wasnā€™t working that well for us, but we were still able to use it. Overall we had a lovely time.

Perfect location for large family

The house was just as described. The location so near the beach was perfect to go there for just a walk for the Grandparents and several hours for the teen age grandchildren. Picking up groceries or going for ice cream was so easy in coligny circle. A great place for our dog too. So much to mention.....will be back!!!!

Great location

We had a great time at this house. The location couldnā€™t be beat, the outdoor space was splendid. It was very clean and the giant dining table was a plus. Theyā€™ve done a nice job of cooling the upstairs rooms. The kitchen is a bit rough esthetically but everything works which is more than I can say for Some beachside homes Iā€™ve stayed in along the same street. Weā€™ll be back.

Comfy by the beach

A thirty second walk for your toes to b in the sand on a beautiful uncrowded beach. The house had everything needed for a relaxing vacation. Wonderful open concept kitchen / family room. Nice bedrooms with comfortable pillows and mattresses. Wrap around deck for ocean views. Clean, updated and thoroughly enjoyable !!

Excellent stay!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. You cannot beat the location; literally steps from the beach. You can see the ocean from the main deck! Walking distance to Coligny Plaza for shops and restaurants. The house is well appointed and we liked that it had 3 king sized beds. The mattresses were very comfortable and thatā€™s not something I typically expect from a rental. We all rested well. The outdoor area is just fantastic. Super dog friendly with a fenced in yard and play area for the dogs on the side of the house! The home had everything we needed. We would definitely rent this home again!

Perfect House for Beach and Pool Fun

We had a fabulous time at 8 Osprey. This house sets the gold standard for house rentals in HHI. The house had everything we could think of for both people and pets. It is across the street from beach access but still private and quiet. There is a ton of space and the whole family was able to spread out. You can tell how much the owners love animals with all of the pet features. The house was clean and well stocked. It had both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker which was greatly appreciated and there were a ton of beach chairs to use. This house is definitely the best rental my family has stayed at in HHI and we are planning a return stay.

Gem of a property

We stayed at 8 Osprey and thoroughly enjoyed the beach house. Great location and easy walk to the beach. Even has a nice view from the living room. Very dog friendly with dog toys, dog run and clean up bags. Tiki bar was a plus and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the outdoors and pool. Has a TV, fridge and ice maker too at the bar. Lots of games for adults and kids too. This property is clean, well equipped and you canā€™t beat the beach location. Nice screened porch for kids too. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in Hilton head and be right across from the beach and also have nice biking and walking distance to shops and restaurants in Coligny. Property manager was very responsive also. Total gem. Will stay again for sure. Allan Robinson.

Great Dog Friendly Beach Home

This property was amazing and we didn't want to leave. We stayed a week with 7 adults and a mini golden doodle who didn't want to leave either and got carried to the car for the ride home. The property is a stones throw from the beach path and we enjoyed seeing the ocean from the upper deck patio and walked the beach every morning. The home was clean, well maintained, nicely decorated, and had plenty of space with upper, mid, and lower levels. The outside pool/bar was a hit and we spent every evening there watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There were plenty of chairs, beach towels, and games to play. The pool was refreshing and clean! They even had 2-3 outdoor faucets for showering off feet, sandals, and paws from the beach. The lower level pool/bar had a nice bathroom and shower which was a surprise. The kitchen had plenty of space for cooking and plenty of cookware. Every wall switch for lights and ceiling fans was labeled and every TV was a SmartTV with Roku, even at the pool/bar. The dog spent every morning on the screen porch listening to the ocean while we drank coffee and tea! The location was perfect for a 20 min walk to Coligney shops, and we even road our bikes to Shelter's cove! The host was excellent and answered all our questions prior to booking. Check in and Check out was a breeze! We will definitely stay here again and longer than a week!

We met Steve when we pulled up to the property and he was amazing! The house and all the amenities were fantastic, we especially enjoyed the pool and the screened in porch. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and hear the ocean , And all of the neighbors and locals were so friendly and gave us great information. I would recommend this property to anyone it was amazing!

Awesome dog-friendly home!

My family has been vacationing on HHI for many years now, and we all agreed that this might be the best house we have ever rented! The home is in great shape and was very clean and well-equipped. The pool area is so nice, especially the fun tiki bar and outdoor bathroom and shower. The turf yard is completely fenced in, super dog-friendly, and well maintained. The location to the beach is fantastic - the pathway is truly just across the street. We loved sitting out on the deck and being able to see the ocean! The bedrooms are spacious and the mattresses were so comfy! The manager was very responsive and helpful when we had questions about bikes, etc. We donā€™t often repeat house rentals, but this is one we would definitely return to for another relaxing stay on HHI. Highly recommend!!!

North Forest Beach House

This house is amazing. It had everything shown and listed on VRBO and more! The place was definitely for people who love dogs especially Labs. We had a Lab and did not know the house was so Lab/dog oriented. What a wonderful surprise! The house was equipped with everything we needed to make fun vacation. Being very near to the beach and having a pool was the right combination. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well done. The kitchen had everything we could want to make family meals. Matter of fact, we did not go out to eat but 1 time the whole stay. It was a joy to cook in this kitchen as a family. The screened in porch was a plus as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay at this house again! Thank you!

i just thought i loved being within the guard shacks all these years but now that I have given this area a chance...I am completely impressed. The house was lovely & had everything we needed & more. My big dogs LOVED it...off leash all week safely within the 5' fenced yard with their own activities provided. We could see our teens top the dunes and saw&heard waves from the whole deck/den/kitchen/screenedporch. it has so much less noise pollution than s.p. landscapers weren't every morning at 7am & i actually slept in for a change. lots of steps. beds are comfy. kitchen stocked nicely. tiny things for mgt...lightbulb needed in jack/jill shower. a stove eye may need servicing. 5stars. Perfect Location

The property was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the private pool and fenced in yard for our pup. It was steps from the beach and about a mile from Coligny Plaza. All of this made it absolutely the perfect location. We had an AC leak but Steve was very quick to respond and take care of things. Our guests who stayed in the back bedroom by the laundry said the mattress sagged a bit. Overall an awesome experience and we already booked this property for next summer!!
