Our log home in the heart of the mountain, just 0.7 miles from the new Citadel Boulder Park, a paradise for climbing enthusiasts with 150 unique boulder problems.

The natural beauty of Desoto State Park is a mere 2 miles while the charming town of Mentone, with its unique shopping experiences and delectable restaurants, is just 7 miles from our doorstep. Lil Mole Golf Course is a fun and challenging 18-hole course for the golfers in the bunch. Little River Cannon, also 7 miles away, offers a wide range of outdoor activities, from kayaking to hiking, for those seeking adventure.

Fort Payne is a short 10-minute drive, providing additional shopping, coffee shops, parks, and museums. Chase 'N Sunsets Rental is your perfect mountain getaway, combining tranquility, adventure, and convenience in one stunning location.

Chase N’ Sunsets is an amazing place!!! The views are spectacular, the firepit and fireplace are so inviting, and it is in great proximity to amazing hiking and local restaurants! Make sure to check out the bouldering park down the street, it’s so fun! Bonnie, the host, was so welcoming and gave us great recommendations! My family could not have picked a better spot! Thank you for a fantastic getaway!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Chase N’ Sunsets on the brow of Fort Payne. The views were absolutely gorgeous, and the cabin itself was so cozy and incredibly clean. Bonnie was a wonderful host—so personable and welcoming—and truly made it feel like a home away from home.We enjoyed every part of the property, especially the fire pit area, hot tub, and the large yard that was perfect for playing ball. The cabin had every amenity we needed and more. It’s also just a short drive to some of our favorite waterfalls and hiking trails, which made the location ideal. Also, we love the downtown shops, coffee spots, and local restaurants! We have zero complaints and can’t wait to book our next stay here. Highly recommend!

Cabin was a wonderful place to relax and get away for a few days! The screened back porch has a beautiful view for catching a sunset. The location was close to both Fort Payne & Mentone and located on a quiet road. We enjoyed our stay here very much! Bonnie was an excellent host!

A Wonderful Place

The cabin was beautiful and close to downtown Fort Payne. It is beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The cabin is private and the view from the back deck is gorgeous, especially the sunsets! Bonnie was great, I had to call once with a question and she answered right away. I will definitely stay at this cabin again! Thanks for a great stay!!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

The property is wonderful. Our entire experience was excellent. Communication with the host pre booking and post stay was great. The cabin was great with spectacular views. The coffee bar was perfect for the cold mornings and nights. Desota and Little River parks are very close and worth the visits. This is the place to stay when visiting Fort Payne /Mentone area.

Top Notch Cabin Rental

This cabin was beautiful and had fantastic views of the brow. The owner had lots of extras like tea and coffee and toiletry items. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepit. The log cabin and decor was awesome. And the bathrooms were huge. Everything was super clean. We highly recommend this rental!

Peaceful Getaway

From the immaculate interior, to the breathtaking view, and outside amenities you cant go wrong with this retreat! The hosts were very attentive to our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and the coffee bar was perfect! This beautiful cabin, nestled in the quiet area on the edge of Desoto offers a peaceful seclusion yet easy access to nearby attractions! We give it a 10/10 and cant wait to come back!

Ideal getway

We really enjoyed our stay at this home on the bluff! Our family loved using the hot tub that is a nice size while overlooking the bluff or taking in the stars. My boys played football in the nice yard and we did smores at night around the firepit. The Citadel Boulders were lots of fun for climbing and so much more to do outdoors nearby.

Amazing Getaway

This cabin was quite the cozy experience my wife and I were looking for during Valentines weekend! Bonnie was very good at communicating with us and had the property ready for us upon arrival. The weather wasn’t the best but it didn’t matter! Enjoyed the hot tub and the view over the city of Fort Payne! Would love to stay again with better weather so we can enjoy the fire pit! Definitely recommend this cabin for a couple’s getaway or a small family!

This place was just awesome! If I could give it 6 stars I would! Everything you needed was right at your fingertips. We really didn't want to go out much because we enjoyed the place so well. The host was exceptional. As soon as you contacted her, she was right there to respond. The place was decorated beautifully, and the bathrooms are huge. I couldn't have asked for a better place.......

We’re from Alabama and love our beautiful state. Alabama is blessed to have the Gulf of Mexico and its beautiful beaches, the stunning views of Lookout Mountain and 7 major lakes throughout the state for fishing and boating activities. We decided to buy a mountain home to enjoy with our family, friends and share with this part of our beautiful state others through vacation rentals!!

Our home is located on Citadel Road which is the less traveled scenic view centrally located between Mentone, Desoto State Park and the Little River Canyon. We are on 5 acres but are conveniently located close to Fort Payne for easy shopping and restaurants.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our property is unique because of the location...it sits on 5 acres with a creek that borders the west end and it has two waterfalls that you can hear when there is a heavy rain. The home is conveniently located between Mentone, Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon which makes it very accessible to the many different adventures that this area offers. You can have as much adventure your heart desires or just peace and relaxation without ever leaving the home. It's located on the brow with a beautiful view... so jump in the hot tub and enjoy or build a fire in the firepit under the stars and the sounds of nature. The property also has a Zen Garden perfect of yoga or meditation. Desoto Park is 2 miles from the home, Mentone is about 7 miles, and Little River Canyon is about 7 miles the opposite direction…so much to see and explore!! Lastly venture downtown into Fort Payne to enjoy great food and music at the many different venues.
