OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
Step outside to your own private resort-style oasis framed by natural desert landscaping and mountain views. The expansive backyard centers around a sparkling saltwater pool with an integrated spa and tanning shelf, surrounded by six poolside loungers for sun-soaked afternoons. Evenings are made for gathering around the fire pit beneath the desert stars or enjoying friendly competition with classic outdoor games.

A covered pavilion anchors the space with alfresco dining for six and a BBQ, making outdoor meals a daily ritual. Whether youā€™re floating in the pool, relaxing fireside, or dining outdoors, this backyard delivers the quintessential Palm Springs experience.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If you home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost **

Had an outstanding experience at this location. Top notch cleanliness, amenities galore, quiet neighborhood and most importantly the management company acme was very good at communicating and setting up the rental when we arrived. We are already in process to book again...

Great Location, Quiet Neighborhood

My husband and I (and our dog) were at the San Lucas Hideaway for a working vacation. The house was very clean, comfortable, in a great location and in a super quiet neighborhood. It was easy to get to restaurants in the evenings, walk from the house, or drive to nearby hikes in the mountains. There is so much to do in Palm Springs, we wish we had more time to enjoy the area rather than work! The backyard, pool, spa and birds were lovely!

Fabulous stay in Palm Springs

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home.. We cooked every meal in the well equipped kitchen and stayed by the pool until dark. I paid extra for the pool and hot tub to be heated and the pump malfunctioned and wasnā€™t working.. but other than that one thing.. it was a wonderful trip.. We plan to go back to Palm Springs for an extended stay In December..

Great stay!

San Lucas Hideout was just as advertised. Stayed there for four nights and wish it was 14. The house was extremely well stocked with kitchen utensils etc. even the drawers weee all labeled so virtually no searching. High quality appliances etc. house was very clean comfy and roomy and the back yard and pool were perfect. Almost all of our time was spent there. Great neighbourhood , close to good restaurants and entertainment Would highly recommend this Hideout I will be back

Amazing Getaway

What a wonderful Palm Springs getaway! Itā€™s beautifully decorated, very clean, and every little detail in the house was well thought out (stocked spices, detergent, coffee, kitchen/laundry supplies, etc.) The pool and hot tub were spacious, night lighting was cool, and plenty of floats and toys for adults and kids. Outdoor space in general was large with tons of games. The house is also very close to the downtown strip/restaurants (5 min drive). ACME did a superb job with communicating check in details prior to the trip, texting during our trip to ensure we were taken care of, and even finding and returning a forgotten pair of sunglasses we left behind! This is a great stay for friends or a family with young kids. Highly recommend!

Short stay

I like the property some things didnā€™t work but, it was ok. The property management company fixed it pretty quick. I will not stay in Palm springā€™s. The noise ordination is ridiculous. Canā€™t even play music in the backyard, felt uncomfortable even talking at night outside.

Paradise in the desert

Lovely pool, great outdoor seating. Lovely master suite. Efficient kitchen and house layout. Court for games was not great. Badminton net not 'regulation'. Birdies were shot. A suggestion for a boule set might be more suitable. The surface might be good for that. We mostly read in the shade or played board games or coloring. Needed a break from sun, so that worked out well. Do use desert baby rentals for crib, high chair, etc. very good service.

Girls trip

We loved our stay at San Lucas Hideaway! It was a beautiful house with an amazing pool and backyard area. The location was also amazing as we were able to walk to downtown! There were a couple issues that would have made our stay perfect. First one is we had lots of trouble getting hot tub water to get hot & stay hot. Seemed very inefficient that it would get hot than instantly lots of cold water came in & cooled it right down. Second, the fan in main bathroom was extremely LOUD!!! Besides being very annoying, it is a safety issue. A home in our area had a fire because of faulty bathroom fan. Even with these small issues, we still loved our stay & plan to book again with ACME.

When we contacted Acme, they were extremely apologetic and very responsive. Had the prior guests mentioned what they had done, we would have had a flawless stay. I am giving 5* across the board to the home and to Acme. This was our 2nd stay in this home, and I fully expect to return.
