A little slice of Island Paradise in Palm Desert has an inviting pool overlooking the 6th fairway and green at Palm Desert Country Club. Two bedroom - two bath home has been lovingly decorated throughout in the island flavor. Comfortable living room has a 65" Smart television. Dining room seats six comfortably. Enjoy cooking your favorite meals in this fully equipped kitchen.

Bedrooms have Island ceiling fans and TV’s. Bed linens and towels are provided in each bedroom and bathroom. Bathrooms include hair dryers.

South facing covered patio complete with misting system, TV, and BBQ also has seating for six for your al fresco dining. You will spend most of your time out there enjoying the view and comfort.

Pool floats and beach towels are provided.

Pool has Solar Heating System. COLDER MONTHS MAY REQUIRE EXTRA HEATING AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Palm Desert Country Club has been nominated for best public golf course in the Coachella Valley.

Palm Springs Winter Vacation

We enjoyed an excellent month at Ed & Sandy's Hale Sweet Hale in Palm Springs. It was everything we expected and more. The outdoor patio and pool were exceptional - we spent most of our time out there. Ed reached out to make sure everything was going smoothly while we were there. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessities and we were able to walk to the grocery stores and many restaurants in the area. We are happy to highly recommend this property. Hopefully we can make it back someday soon!

First impression and all the remaining were very positive. Ed and Sandy were great hosts, ready to help if needed. The home was very comfortable and welcoming. The pool and jacuzzi were great bonuses.

2 month stay in Palm Desert

Home is nicely decorated, kitchen well stocked. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms on the small side but get the job done - the tub shower is slippery when wet. Plenty of patio seating. Area consists of well maintained homes and quiet, friendly neighbors. Although the house is on a golf fairway and the grounds crew starts very early in the morning. The location is convenient. Encountered some mechanical issues and Ed & Sandy were quick to respond and correct the problems. We did not use the pool but it attracts the waterfowl in the area so we had geese and ducks visiting frequently and they are messy. At arrival, the house appeared tidy and clean but upon further inspection, it was in need of a deep clean. A lot of sand/dirt had settled on every surface from door panels to ceiling fans, lamp shades, etc. We ended up doing the deep clean ourselves and the owners refunded our cleaning charge for the effort. After living in the desert for 2 months, and with the frequent wind/sand storms, the sand and dirt finds its way into the home and needs frequent cleaning to stay on top of it. Some items in the house need a refresh: the bed linens and pillows need an update. Bath towels and floor mats and kitchen linens were stained and torn/snagged. And the blanket throws in the living room could use an update as well. These did not prevent us from enjoying our time here but you sure do appreciate when owners pay attention to the details.

Sun Break

Loved this house, felt like home from the first day. Everything we needed to enjoy our month in Palm Desert. Great neighborhood for my walk every morning. Pool refreshing and covered patio wonderful. We enjoyed meals at the Club House Restaurant a couple of times after golfing; and invited friends for one of the live music nights. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

Beautiful quiet location Lovely owners

Home and location we wonderful! The patio provides amazing sunrises, gorgeous sunsets and warm sun throughout the day. Thoroughly Enjoyed our stay, golf was great, home was well equipped and walking distance to all the amenities. The only downfall, we had to leave this sunny paradise weeks earlier then planned due to the pandemic.

Great Stay at Hale Sweet Hale

Sandy and Ed were excellent hosts right from organizing our rental, answering follow up questions, simple check in, and communicating through the rental. We had some issues with the BBQ, and within days, they had a new Weber delivered. The home is well stocked with everything you need to sit back and relax in the desert. The patio, pool, and spa are the stars of the show. We spent hours and hours truly relaxing, and entertaining outdoors. There is plenty of patio furniture for any number of guests. The view of the mountains to the south is wonderful. Appliances in the kitchen are relatively new, and the wine fridge is a bonus. The house would benefit from a few more pool towels. Thanks Ed and Sandy for a great stay!

Such a cozy home in an awesome location

This was the 2nd year we stayed here for the month of January and it is so comfortable, well stocked, perfect location on the golf course with fantastic sunrises and the home faces south so you get to have the sun all day long which is what we come for in January!

One of the all around Best

My wife & I have been wintering in the Coachella Valley for fourteen years. This year’s stay at Sandy & Ed’s vacation Home backing on to the Palm Desert Country Club had to be one of our best stays yet. The Location is central to just about everything. It is extremely quiet both during the day and especially at night. The neighbours are friendly the golfing is great and affordable and the clubhouse feels like our club at home. As for the home itself it has just about everything you would need including a great master bedroom. It was nice to sit in the comfortable patio watching the golfers go by while sipping our wine. One would think we had rented a hotel room the way Ed & Sandy looked after our every request. If we are able to return to the desert for a fifteenth year and if it’s available you can bet this is where we will be. Tina & Pat Hanlon

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

From the minute we walked in the front door, we felt at home in our Hale Sweet Hale, and our dog Bear thought he had a new forever home and took over the patio by watching the golfers go by right by the lovely pool. We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a month away from home--everything was spotless and all the amenities were provided for us. The owners met us when we arrived and showed us around, and checked in on us to make sure we were well taken care of. We were conveniently located close to all the fun places for eating and shopping and touring, and our neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this beautifully furnished home to anyone looking for a first class stay in the heart of the desert.

Home away from home!

Our 3rd year staying at Hale Sweet Hale, two couples visiting from Ontario, Canada. Have fallen in love with Palm Desert, and this location is ideal for shopping, restaurants and day tripping. Try out Bouchee bistro for lunch; Mario's Italian Restaurant for dinner and Elmer's in Palm Springs for breakfast. The property is well maintained, comfortable, quiet and very private. Hosts Sandy and Ed have been very responsive, informative and friendly to communicate with. Day trips have included San Diego Zoo, Griffith Observatory in L.A., and Newport Beach. Would highly recommend this wonderful property for your visit to the Palm Springs area.. We'll be returning next year!

best rental on PDCC

We've been guests at "hale sweet hale" for several years. The remodeled house faces the 6th fairway on Palm Desert Golf Course with the back patio and pool facing west. Th 2 BR, 2 Bath house has all the modern conveniences including a full kitchen. The covered patio includes a gas BBQ pool and hot tub. If your from up north this is the perfect place to soak up the sun and relax, play golf and forget about the snow back home.

What a gem!

Our family just spent a week enjoying this home. It was perfect for our family of four. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. Great location

Just spent two months at Hale Sweet Hale. Love the location. View of the mountains. Outdoor space is incredible. Quiet neighborhood. Sandy and Ed are wonderful to work with. Very responsive to problems. They installed a new microwave and washer and dryer while we were there. The House is very well maintained. We would go back. PDCC is a fun course if you are a golfer.

A Slice of Paradise

We have just spent 2.75 months of heaven in this lovely home. It is well cared for, it is comfortable to the max, it has an up-scale kitchen and all the accoutrements. The pool and spa are wonderful and well maintained, as are the grounds. We would truly rent this home again. Adding to the above, the neighbors are super fantastic, welcoming not only us but our dog, too. We highly recommend this home for a stay in the Palm Desert area.

Relaxing, Private, Beautiful Home

Had a fantastic stay at Hale Sweet Hale! The property looks exactly like the pics, and the pool is amazing, with the golf course as the backdrop. Pool floats, bikes, towels all provided and the deck misters make a huge difference in 100 + degree heat. The property is only about 20 minutes from dowtown Palm Springs and an easy drive to many restaurant choices (if you choose to eat out because it's nice to have the option to stay in and use the renovated kitchen). The property is clean and well maintained with clear instructions on access and how to use the many amenities on the property. We definitely plan on visiting again...thanks for contributing to the fun and memories of our first visit to Palm Springs!

Best VRBO Rental Yet

We have rented a handful of homes through VRBO and rental agencies. This is by far the best home of all the rentals we've experienced. The decor was very nice, the house was clean, there were plenty of linens & the kitchen was well stocked, not to mention the beauty outside. Although we were there in June and it was hot, the central air and misters outside kept things cool. We played in the pool and golfed our little hearts out. The price was more than fair for this great little house. We hope to stay again next year! We highly recommend this rental. Thank you Ed & Sandy!

Private Home on Golf course

We have just returned from a glorious month in the desert.This was our first time in this home and we were very pleased with everything... it is exactly as represented in the photos.Very accommodating in every way with comfortable furniture inside and out and located in a beautiful neighborhood and convenient to everything. The owners were very accommodating. Sany met us on our arrival and again during our stay to be sure we had everthing we needed. We consider this rental a great find and wii be back next year.

A Very Comfortable Property

The property was everything as advertised. The home is well furnished and well maintained. The owners were very cordial and helpful. The golf course view couldn't be better, and the pool is right on the edge of the course. The covered patio is a great place to eat your meals. An excellent property.

Best Place eEver!

We had a ball at Sandy and Ed's beautiful home on The Palm Desert golf course. There were two couples of us and we were all amazed how well this gem was appointed. Sandy and Ed even came by to make sure every thing was ok. It was more than ok, it was fabulous! The pool and patio are wonderful. My husband was not thrilled about going to PD but now he is already talking about next time. We will stay longer at HaleSweetHale. Thank you Ed and Sandy

Beautiful, relaxing week

We throughly enjoyed our one week stay, even in the heat of August. The home is wonderful. Very warm and all the resources you would want. The view is beautiful. Floating in the pool was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The home is located near a wide variety of great restaurants and great golf courses. While we didn't entertain others, it has all the resources you need for people to enjoy time together. The communication with the owners was great. Excellent instructions on the house and how things work. Everything went well for us from the first contact until the week was over. I highly recommend this place to others.

Girls get away!

We have spent the month of March here for the past two years. The place is great , house and pool area clean and well maintained. Love the location, can walk to mall if necessary or drive to the many restarunts and attractions nearby. Having the golf course at your doorstep is also a great plus! Enjoyed the clubhouse and all it offers as well. Ed is a great host , always available if you need any help. Highly reccomend the place to all. D&R

We can't wait to return

This place is awesome. Very cozy......yet very spacious. My wife and I stayed here with our young children (ages 2 and 4). We can't wait to go back. The house is very comfortable and the beach and golf theme throughout the house really enhance the vacation feel. Pool and spa outside are PERFECT. Great island bar/ BBQ outside as well. We were able to walk to Starbucks every morning with our kids for coffee and the grocery store is in the same area, so convenient. As far as proximity to golf...couldn't ask for any better. Just a quick drive to golf meccas (PGA West, Indian Wells, SilverRock, Classic Club, etc). El Paseo is also very close for the shoppers. Great restaurants close by as well (Beer Hunter, LG's, Sullivan Steakhouse, 5 guys, Cliffhouse, etc). Just hanging at the house and swimming with our kids was the best part of our stay. Owner is great, goes out of his way to make sure his guests feel welcome during their stay
