Family trip for one week

This house was amazing! The pictures are exactly what you get when you come into this lovely home. The owners were very transparent, timely, attentive, and understanding. They were friendly and inviting to our family. One thing I loved was the amount of shower/pool towels, blankets, and hand towels throughout the home. We had more than enough for our visit, everything was clean and orderly. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was cozy as well. The kitchen has a wonderful layout for cooking and hosting. The pool was clean, and our kids loved it! 10/10 would definitely come back to this home in the future.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding our stay. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the condition of the house. It was not clean—the sheets had a bad odor, the carpets smelled unpleasant, the pool was dirty, and the beds were very uncomfortable. It felt like the house had not been cleaned in months, which was very sad to see given how beautiful the property could be.My family and I rent a house in Cape Coral every year, and this is the first time we’ve had such a negative experience. The only positive part was your fast response when we didn’t know how to turn on the faucet, and we do appreciate that.We just wanted to let you know how we felt about our stay.

We are so sorry about your experience, please accept our apologies. We were out of the country, so the property was vacant for a month and wondering if that is where the odor came from. We take every comment serious and work to be better. Again, please accept our apologies and we will contact our cleaning company to ensure this does not occur in the future.

Bachelor trip

Overall, we were very pleased with the property and the surrounding areas. Plenty of room for our group of 14 to comfortably stay, and plenty of activities to do within a short distance. The only thing that was not as advertised was the pool hear. For the duration of our stay, we were unable to get the pool heater to work. The host(s) we’re plenty communicative and responded in timely fashion, but we were unable to get the heat to come on. Ultimately, this led to us not using the pool a whole bunch, but still enjoyed the backyard area.

Big family vacation

I personally liked the property overall. The house had plenty of space for our group of nine people. The multiple beds in three of the rooms came in handy for kids. I would say that the twin size beds were quite firm, but again, for the most part, that's not something that bothers young kids. The king, queen and bunk beds were quite comfortable. The space had everything we needed. There was a thing or two that were broken, but communicating with the property manager was great, and they were always helpful. So nothing that was an issue. For the most part, everything was generally clean. Maybe a bit of dirt in the corners, but nothing too noticeable, and nothing beyond what I would have expected. Overall, the place was really functional for having as many people as we did, and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and our stay. This was our first VRBO trip, and considering the simple things like beach chairs, coolers, or spices in the cupboard for cooking, I'm looking forward to being a continued user of these kinds of properties.

Great property, would recommend! Could rearrange beds better...

This was a great place at an excellent price. I know other reviews commented on the pool, but we had no issues. The temp was fine and after a shock treatment the day before we arrived, the water was nice and clear.The inside is nice and clean, with new appliances that all worked as expected. The kitchen is stocked with amenities. We brought items that can be hit or miss at a rental like spices, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, etc...But they had all of that and more. The bed setup is the one thing that we would definitely have changed (and might have had us look elsewhere if we had caught it up front). The master bedroom had its own bathroom and entrance to the pool/patio area, which was nice. However the room with bunk beds (clearly designed for kids) was the other room with its own dedicated bathroom and entrance to the pool/patio area. While the queen bedroom required a walk across the living room areas to get to the ONLY other bathroom that didn't require walking through a bedroom. This was weird and awkward and not exactly an equitable setup for the adults. The patio door in the bunkbed room had a lock mechanism on it to prevent kids from going outside easily, but why not swap that bed setup with the queen bed setup? It seems like such a simple and more obvious solution/setup for a rental that is clearly designed and marketed for larger or multi-family use.Owners were great and very responsive. Would rent again now knowing the bed setup.
