Office is set up to accommodate up to 6 kids for sleeping with double bunk beds featuring 2 twins & 2 full mattresses acting as 4th bedroom.


Beautiful 3/4 bedroom 2.5 bath. Just 3.5 miles from Bethany Beach and its wonderful boardwalk, shops, restaurants, and ocean. Access to the neighborhood pool is part of rental. POOL IS OPEN!!! Vacation home is complete with custom kitchen designed with a variety of stone countertops along with custom back splash, stainless steel appliances, and more. There's ping pong this year outside, along with horse shoes, Inside there's Foos Ball, Air Hockey, Archade/Ms Pac Man full size recently upgraded to 60 game machine, chess board. I just added shuffle bowl/you keep score with card or phone. Theres no access to garage.
What fun. There's dual living rooms with flat screens, VCR and DVD players in some bedrooms, hundreds of movies for your enjoyment, 75" flat screen in living room, dual outside split level decks with Weber Grill & charcoal grill, ( must supply charcoal briketts and set up yourself),(propane for grill is" pay it forward"after owner sets up 1st tank for season), fire pit, outside seating, bicycles, boogie boards (for use at the beach), a cooler
, and a few beach chairs.
Bear Trap Dunes (27 hole premier country club) just across the street - walking distance with nice restaurant and outside seating at golf course! It has a terrific practice facility.
NO GARAGE ACCESS!!!
Owner of home is owner a Scott"s Custom Auto Body & Lord's & Lady's & Limousines since 1981 and is accustomed to making customers happy. Making a traveler happy is my most important task, just ask.
Do to credit card fees, the owner must be reimbursed the service fee of 4% that's not part of VRBO total amount. You mail that fee back when returning signed contract, or pay cash at check in.
Theres also a 6.5% town tax due in cash at check in directly to owner.
If Saturday check in is requested, there's a premium fee of $329.00 to be added in addition to VRBO bill as well, and additional $329 for Saturday check out to be added in addition to VRBO total bill.

If MAJORITY of group and or guest are under 30 years of age there's an additional premium of $100.00 per person, plus an additional $100.00 per person security deposit to be added to total VRBO bill total after reserving property and will be titled "29 yr under fee". That only applies if everyone in group is under 30, and does not apply to minors/ kids in family groups
To all reservation requests, please state # of people and ages of all to be in-house to expedite acceptance of reservation. Thanks.

Enjoyed our stay!

We had a girls weekend at this property and had a great stay. We had plenty of room and the house was very clean. Would recommend!

A Fantastic week

The Beach House we rented was everything we hoped for. It was all on one floor, which was great for my husband who has Parkinson's. There was a lot of fun activities for our teenagers to do. Bikes to ride, an air hockey table, ping pong, chess table and pin ball machines. The house was lovely and very clean and Scott, our host was awesome, so helpful and accommodating! The house was close to Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island State Park, I would definitely recommend this house to you for a great family vacation! We had a blast!

Ocean view property

The property was nice and contact with the owner was great. There was some trouble with the air conditioning so we spent some time there very uncomfortable but the owner was quick to respond to the problem. There was problem after check out that the neighbor accused one of our cars of denting her mailbox which we did not do, I believe it was just easy access to blame the out of town people if we did it we would have took responsibility. Other then that the stay was very nice.

These where very nice guest. As mentioned I was able to respond to AC problem within 6 hours and get thermostat back to 70° within 4 hours after that to resolve problem even though I was in the next state just outside DC. No security was withheld on mailbox or even asked for, I just fixed it to keep my neighbor happy. No biggie. I only let my guest know so if they noticed dent in back of a vehicle, they would know where it came from. I probably shouldn't have even mentioned it knowing it was such a quick fix. I think I cost myself a good point and a half in my review. Thanks for your stay Jones family. It was fun to see you children have so much fun while I was doing the repair. I answered all there questions the best I could and was happy to do so. Call anytime. 😎

House was nice, but didn't have all the amenities listed. Owner difficult.

The house was nice. It didn’t have a working grill as advertised; there were two broken gas grills. The kitchen was good; but had no oven pans or bowls. It had a number of TVs, but only one large TV was connected to cable; the others only played videos. The owner was difficult to deal with. He held our damage deposit for one week after we left and threatened to use some of it to clean the carpets because of four very small spots (that may have been there when we moved in) and that could be cleaned easily using the cleaning fee we had already paid. He asked for cash to cover the 3% credit card fee a week before we moved in and said VRBO requires the renter to pay this at time of signing the contract. It was not mentioned in the contract and VRBO does not require the renter to pay this! We would not deal with this owner again!!

Lets address this unfortunate review. If there's ever a spot in my carpet when you arrive at my beautiful home, you bring it to my attention, I'll remove it. What I'm saying is, there's never spots in my carpet and it's not part of general cleaning, I only didn't retain part of this groups deposit because of my 4 year record of returning 100% securities. Homeaway holds deposits for 7 days before refunding, that's there policy. I don't know what a oven bowl is, there's popcorn bowls, mixing bowls, cereal bowls, there's lots of bowls, if you ever need anything while staying at my home, please let me know, I'll go out and buy it, but there are lots of pots and pans including one set of Everywhere. 3% credit card reimbursement fee is due to me when returning signed contract, it's stated in last paragraph of property description. No surprise. Black grill is used for charcoal, ( lift lid, place charcoal in, then lighting fluid, light ). Sorry, my home does not come with staff to do this for you. Stainless steel grill is a manual lighting gas grill at this time. You do have to use the hand held automatic lighters I provide to light gas grill. If you ever need a gas grill lighter, please let me know, I'll replace that as well, there's usually a couple provided. I don't monitor gas use. Replacing tanks is renters responsibility as advertised. Play it forward system one might say. As a reminder, any carpet stains that accidently happen in my 🏡 during your stay is your responsibility to remove before you leave, it's not part of the cleaning fee, it's actually considered damage to house. Carpet must be left spot free to not get charged for it. This group received a gift from me by not getting charged. To new quest in my home, thank you for respecting my home and treating it as the special place it is to me. I, on a weekly & biweekly basis, work very hard to provide a special place for your vacation. Come and enjoy, Thank you, Scott

OK property, minus details

The house is fine but several details left all us adults more than a little let down. We had a full house and were already out of tp by the time all guests arrived on the first eve. Also no other basic supplies provided such as garbage bags or dishwasher detergent. We had to pay extra - in cash - for sheets and towels, and extra fee for using ctredit card for house payment. There was also an overly complicated process requested of us to sign a paper lease separate from the VRBO listing, which wasn't provided to us until about 4 days before check-in, and we were told we had to print it out ourselves. We were also told there were bikes available but were not given access to the garage where they were kept because the owner had his motorcycles in there. There were lots of ants on the kitchen counter, the dryer and garbage disposal didnt work. Beware with little kids back deck/yard is directly on a main road. Overall the house and community swiming pool is nice, but we were all baffled by the lacking details which took away from a fully satisfactory experience. We gladly would have paid a little more to have a smoother experience for a family gathering of folks coming from different parts of the country.

To all, please read all info listing has to offer. Lets address 1 item at a time. 1.1st roll in bathrooms, i provide. As mentioned in listing, paper products are responsibility of renter. 2. As mentioned in listing, Sheets, house towels, & beach towels can be brough by guest to save a bit of money. For a fee, i can provide those muliple item to use. 3.Bikes are available, if there not put out due to inclement weather, as mentioned at check in, all it takes is a text or call to have owner/me who lives across the street to put bikes out for use when needed or desired. This is always gone over at check in. 4. There are no ants in my house, but if house isn't kept clean during stay, meaning food is dropped on floors and not wiped up, or sauces or sugar drinks are spilled on surfaces and not cleaned up, red carpet is being rolled out for pest to join you in your vacation. Ant spray & traps are readily available/provided by me. Just in case. Avoid extra cleaning fees, clean as you go. House should be left in the condition as you entered home at check in. 5. Dryer works, but you must have settings on "cotton" for towels to dry, not "delicates". This is a easy mistake, but happens from time to time. Please, check settings before hitting start. 6. If an item doesn't operate as its supposed to while using my beautiful vacation home, please call or text me. I can't fix anything if i dont know it not working. Please dont tell me at check out. Call or text when you know, ill fix it!

House was excellent for a Family vacation with 9 adults and 1 infant. The house was on 1 floor and is handicap accessible. One shower was walk in (1 step) with a grab bar. Scott was very responsive. We texted him a couple times every day and he responded quickly. Please read the property details so you are not surprised by anything after you book.

Nice stay.

Backyard faces a busy road- can’t tell that from the pictures. But as long as kids can listen to stay on the deck it isn’t a problem. Very open layout and on all one level which is nice for kids and older family members. Has ramp to get in house so technically wheelchair accessible. Has some glass tables that aren’t exactly kid friendly. But overall very nice. Stay at plenty of places and this place definitely provided more kitchen supplies than most which was very nice. Owner lives across the street so is obviously easily accessible. Access to pull was excellent and nice to come from the beach to the pool, outdoor shower at the pool to get ride of sand before cooling down at the pool and walking back to the house. Dryer in the house didn’t work well at all so don’t expect to do laundry even thought it’s available. Enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend going back. Easy access to Bethany beaches.

Wedgewood house at Ocean View

The house is extremely workable for a family. It is all on one floor. There is a variety of games in the recreation room/living room area across from the kitchen, making it ideal for kids and teens. We also got a lot of use of the bikes. The house is quite close to the road in back, making the deck less usable than it otherwise would have been. The pool is about three blocks from the house. It took us about 10 minutes to drive and park at Bethany Beach, and about 30-40 minutes to drive and park at Rehoboth.

Convenient Ranch-Style

Our stay was last summer. The owner was accommodating. He offered to build a ramp to the front door, as my mother-in-law uses a walker. I reminded him a couple days before our stay and he was putting on the finishing touches as we arrived. The house is spacious, with a beautiful updated kitchen and lovely hard wood flooring in the foyer, dining room, and hallways. My children enjoyed the air hockey and foosball tables. Some rooms have too much furniture and appear cluttered. It would be truly spectacular in the hands of a professional interior decorator.

Honest Stay Details

We are a family of 7 adults and 7 kids ranging from 10 months-12 years and it wasn't the most family friendly. Because we were coming from far and leaving early we asked to get the pool keys and stay at the pool till 4:00 check in time. Scott said yes and then day of when I said what time someone would be there he said Negative, Enjoy the beach. Said he didn't receive the contract (which was in his mailbox that he didn't check). We ordered the sheet and bath towel service around $200(which we never had to do with past rentals) and because we told him a week earlier that "didn't give him enough time to put them on the beds". During our stay the propane in the grill ran out on the first time we were using it while the food was on the grill and when I texted Scott he said to refill and pay it forward to the next people (he was across the street and could have let us borrow his tank). And the pictures are very deceiving the backyard is on a pretty main road with no fence. The firepit is steps away from the street and the deck gave pretty much everyone a splinter. The yard is not kid friendly. The pool was nice and probably 3 miles to the beach. If you like movies then this guy has a lot!

Family Vacation

This house is perfect for a family vacation. Spacious house with plenty to do inside and outside. Very close to the beach. Communication with the owner was prompt and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

we loved the property and the location... close to ocean city maryland and rehoboth beach, the community pool felt amazing... the only issues are mrs pac man didnt get fixed while we were there... the owner is really nice...

Spacious house with lots of indoor activities given the fact that it was so rainy outside. Loved that the kids could enjoy bike/scooter riding when it stopped raining.

A wonderful long weekend

We have picked this house based on appealing images, description of the property and location. The reality exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The owner was available to assist with any issue should something happen. He recommended nice places to go, and we enjoyed every minute of our staying. Thank you very much Scott, see you next time!

Great location and property. The house fit my family needs completely. The host, Scott was very accommodating and gracious. Overall I recommend this property to anyone.

Great house for family groups

It was clean, comfortable, and roomy, in a quiet neighborhood just outside the bustle of the beaches. Everything worked well (grill, kitchen, air conditioning,), the beds were comfortable, the foosball was a blast. There was salt & pepper, plus coffee filters, pots & pans, & silverware. (Bring your hairdryer.) One note for groups with young children: the yard & decks back onto a moderately busy road. It wasn’t a problem, but it’s not the sort of place where kids can run around unattended.

NO COMPLAINTS

Overall, my family and I were very pleased. The house was clean with more than enough entertainment to keep all ages occupied. We loved the ping pong table in the garage and the bikes that were available. This was our first vacation home with Homeaway and Scott was one of the best hosts we've had. No issues with communication or check in. He even gave some really good restaurant and parking recommendations. Five star service!!!

Bethany Beach is my favorite beach close to our Nations Capital with its endless complementary entertainment including multiple tribute bands on the boardwalk to movies on the beach all summer long. Its wonderful restaurants are always such a treat. Golf course across the street, & north and south of me doesn't hurt either.
