Rebecca was very responsive when we had questions about our stay due to the unprecedented flooding on Maui. The beds were very comfortable, the condo was quiet without noise from neighbors, and the mini splits in each room worked great for keeping cool at night. We didn't get a chance to hang on the nearby beaches due to brown water advisories but if we had, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and more we're all included for our use. We'd happily stay here again!

We had a Whaley good time

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at this condo. Short walk to the beach where we snorkeled and boogie boarded. We also saw whales jumping right at sunset which was one of the most amazing things I have seen in my life.

Nice property, nice pool. Very close to beach & shopping.Each room has its own AC unit which was excellent for the different likes.The condo is dated but clean. Get coffee supplies & toiletries for they are not provided.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a great experience here. Everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental. Clean, well-stocked, quiet. As it is a newer reno, everything is in great shape and high-end. Having the snorkel gear, chairs, beach towels available made our time at the beach enjoyable and easy. The location was perfect too – easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Set back from the road, this unit is very quiet as well. I'd recommend this unit in a heartbeat!

Basic but tight quarters

Owner was pleasant and home was in decent shape. Nothing outstanding. Was a tight squeeze for our family of 5- no space to move around beds, living room furniture too big for space etc. It was fine, but we’d spend a bit more next time and get a bit bigger place. “Resort” is very bare bones and I think there are nicer locations in Kihei for the same price.

Thank you for your comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We value our guests comments. The oversized coffee table in the living room was recently removed and the bedframes in both rooms changed to create more space. In general, Maui condo's have less square footage than the Mainland. You may also notice tighter parking spaces around the island. However, Maui is Paradise and one of the most beautiful places on earth. we strive to provide a comfortable space to stay, eat and sleep for all our guests. There are many landscaping and improvements projects going on at Pacific Shores and the grounds are very well maintained by the hard working staff. Superb Vacation!

We had a superb family vacation. We appreciated all that the condo had to offer. Many extra's like beach chairs and sand toys. Location was perfect. Beach across the road was beautiful and many restaurant options close by. Owner was quick to reply to my texts. Would gladly rent again!

It was okay there were areas that could have been improved on

Bedrooms were not air-conditioned so when you close the door the room's got very hot quickly, also the snorkel gear was stored in the closet in one of the rooms along with other apparatus that a family would use this was a couples trip so we did not need any of that stuff and could have used the closet space snorkel gear had not been cleaned from previous use. Also the security was a little overzealous we were coming in from a night out and headed to our unit, we were a little loud but not obsessive and the security guard whistle to us as if we were dogs found that very offensive

Aloha & Thank you for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Guest satisfaction is very important Please feel free to bring any issue to my attention, right away during your vacation. The air conditioning is located in the living room. Leaving the bedroom doors ajar will keep all the rooms cool. Also, opening the windows usually has a beautiful breeze at night. We no longer offer snorkel gear, due to sand issues and breakage therefore House keeping has been advised to dispose of any broken snorkel gear. Quiet time at Pacific Shores starts at 10pm and security is there to enforce this rule that benefits everyone. I'm sorry you felt that you were disrespected. Perfect place to stay!

My husband and I went to Maui for a family reunion and went a few days early to have time to ourselves and so this was the perfect place to stay! It was an awesome location!! The beach was just across the street so it was great we would go there everyday with our chairs that she has there provided, and hang out all day, and then again at night after dinner walk down to watch the susnset! Having a kitchen was awesome and there are bbq's down by the pool. We cooked dinner in every night besides one when we went to coconuts (absolutely recommend that place to by the way) The only negative thing I would say is that the place is a bit small so it was hard to really even get our suitcases in the front bedroom...but let's be honest when your in Hawaii nothing really can bother you to much! :) Overall we loved our stay here and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone!!

Cozy condo, great location in Kihei

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was a good place to call home during our time in Maui. The condo is well stocked and has a lot of nice features that make it very home-like. I have nothing but great things to say about the owner, Rebecca, she is very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner before and during our stay. The location is very central to many stores (one block away from ABC store and some awesome food trucks!)...you are only a five minute drive to the grocery store and other fab restaurants/marketplace. Make sure to check out some great restaurants like Coconut Fish Tacos, Three's Bar and Grill, Vietnamese Cuisine and lots of shaved ice places! And Kamole Beach is literally one block away, so it was great to walk over and watch the sunsets or take a dip! For five people, the condo is a bit cramped, but still very doable...the renos are a nice touch. Only complaints I had was lack of air conditioning (just fans) in the bedrooms...it can get a little warm at night. AC works really well. The parking spot is a bit cramped as it is the last spot beside the bike rack...if I had a small car, wouldn't have been a problem but I had a SUV. I was lucky that I didn't have a car parked beside me most of the time, as the space is tight and when bikes are parked, a little bit harder to get out from passenger side. But this is minor as I'm glad I had a parking spot. Only other issue was the phone didn't work, couldn't make any local calls. We really enjoyed our stay in Maui and living in this unit was very comfortable. Mahalo Rebecca for a nice stay. We will always have great memories of Maui.

Great condo near a great beach

This recently renovated third floor condo is packed with everything you need from kitchen supplies to beach furniture and boogie boards.. It is located in Kihei very near one beach and withing just a few minutes of driving to several others. It is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. A major grocery store is a bit of a walk, but it isn't so far. Other grocery chains are withing several driving minutes. While each bedroom is a bit small, the entire condo is kept up well. The living room/kitchen is air-conditioned; bedrooms have fans. The pool area has gas grills and a hot tub.

Didn't want to leave this condo!

After a 5 day trek around the big island my brother and I wanted a cozy pad to crash at once we arrived to Maui.......this place was beyond cozy!!! Everything was perfect and as advertised!

Great location in Kihei

We booked a 9 day stay in Kihei to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This condo exceeded our expectations. The location is centrally located to the beach and the local bars and restaurants yet far enough away from heavy tourist areas in order to take in the local feel that Maui has to offer. Rebecca was great to work with and provided timely accurate info. The condo amenities are a true home away from home. We had a rental car to get around to areas such as Lahaina and Road to Hana. It was great having an assigned parking spot to return to at night without having to look for a spot. The included snorkel gear was a huge plus as that is one of my favorite beach activities to do. There was practically everything there that we needed to have a comfortable stay. I would definitely return and book this condo again without hesitation.

This was indeed a luxury condo experience just across the beach from our favorite beach in Maui

We were thrilled with the location and modern amenities of this lovely condo. It had everything we needed including gear for the beach and snorkeling. I can't think of anything this condo was missing and the price is fantastic. We'll definitely be back next summer!

Very pleasant stay at the condo for a great Maui vacation

We found the condo very beautiful with all the updated furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a few home cooked meals when we got tired of the restaurants. We didn't have time to use all the entertainment options available in the condo since we spent a lot of time across the street on the beach using the beach chairs, boogie board, and the towels available to us. Remodeled bathrooms were very sleek and functional, which gave us the feeling of a luxury hotel. Maybe the only bit of complaint is the lanai was small and uncomfortable to fit 2 adults to enjoy the tropical breeze, but overall we loved the experience and would definitely stay there again!

Great condo in Kihei area

The condo was recently renovated and looked beautiful. They also had lots of little things you would need - beach towels, beach chairs (which were very handy in the areas we snorkeled in), and coolers which made it easy to keep things cold out in the sun. The place was comfortable, although the master bedroom was a little tight, especially if you don't plan to unpack your suitcase. We didn't really use the pool, so we can't comment on it. It was great to have parking available. The location was great - close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants - but it was too hot to talk, so we ended up driving anyway. Rebecca was very easy to work with and responded very timely to any and all questions I asked, regardless of how mundane they were. They also had some nice treats for us when we came in. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in Kihei - which I hope is soon.

Condo location nice, well kept

Condo community was well kept. Convenient location to grocery stores, restaurants, and beach. This condo does not have an ocean view. The lanai has a north view of landscape and other condos. The beach is very close - just a 5 minute walk. The condo was updated and clean.

Cute little place!

This place was really nice! It's within walking distance to the beach and it's stocked with everything you need for the beach! It's also very family friendly having a high chair made meals easier and a stroller was awesome and was one less thing to bring on a plane!

Great new unit and owners - recommended

Part of five. Owner was very attentive to any needs and prompt to help with anything, very nice and accommodating. Clean, modern unit fully renovated. Quiet and close to the beaches (2min walk across the street from Charlie Young & Kameoles). Close to bus routes, shopping and dinning from both directions out of unit on South Kehei road. Beach gear in the unit closets which is handy and some snorkel gear if you don't have your own making the well know beaches for their turtles close by some fun. Can get warmer in bedrooms without AC running during the night but it's manageable. Overall great stay and highly recommended to others. Very easily laid out directions making things a breeze aswell compared to others stayed at. Enjoy a great hassle free stay! I know we will again.

Great Condo, Great Location

We stayed for 8 days & had a wonderful time! Rebecca was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions leading up to the trip. The pictures are accurate; the condo is very well-maintained, nice, clean, comfortable. Surf lessons & rentals just a short walk north on S. Kihei Rd. Perfect swimming beach just across the street. Excellent espresso at nearby Lava Java. Sugar Beach is just a 10 minute drive north, where, for just $15/person, you can paddle with Maui Canoe Club on an outrigger canoe for an hour! I wish I could have stayed longer...

Beautifully decorated, wonderful ambiance, everything you need!

We stayed at this condo for 3 nights in Dec '15 and it was a WONDERFUL choice! It is very conveniently located with legendary Kihei beach access right across the street for viewing the spectacular sunsets. Wonderful restaurants and stores are nearby, many in walking distance. The condo itself was BEAUTIFUL, and exactly as it is pictured in all the photos. Kitchen is stocked with every utensil/dish/cookware you could possibly need, just bring your own food. There were also beach chairs, drink coolers, beach towels, a stroller and a pack n play for baby. My kids have well outgrown that but I must say how much I appreciated it as looking back when traveling when they were younger was so difficult! What a great idea! HUGE screen TV was awesome!! We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay and I will DEFINITELY be back - soon!!! Mahalo nunui!!!

Across the street from the Beach. Walk to Restaurants, Ice Cream, Happy Hour, Grocery & Shops!
Pool area is super convenient. Love that you can have the kids playing in the pool while using the BBQ’s to grill dinner and still keep an eye on them.
