We want you to be completely happy with your accommodations. These are the actual pictures of our family home. If you are looking for something more modern than what the pictures show, we are not your best choice.

Alex, Thank you for your 5-star review! I am thrilled you had another great stay in our home! I always love hearing this— that I can help someone have a great vacation!! It makes my day! I also appreciated you alerting me to how my home had been left by the previous guests and by the cleaning team. For those reading this, this is a family home that we take great pride in and stay at when we are able. When I find out about it not being taken care of, I do not rent to those guests again. I also take immediate action. I let the cleaning team go that was responsible for my home that week. Another team came in and did great for 2 weeks, but then did not clean up to my standards the 3rd week. That team has been let go also. I have a new team cleaning this week that is aware of my previous concerns. With the exception of sanitizing and scrubbing, I ask that each guest leave our home the way they found it. It is my intention that every single guest have an enjoyable visit in Cape May, and it starts with a clean and comfortable living environment.

You were so gracious when we realized the plumbing issue hadn't been completely fixed. I greatly appreciated how you went with the flow, so we could get it taken care of as soon as possible. Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! Since we are in a terrific location and very reasonably priced, our house is completely booked for the summer. We have the standard check in and check out times which leaves a 4 hour window for cleaning. It is imperative that our guests check out on time so cleaning can be done in a timely manner and our next guest can check in. Unfortunately this did not happen with the guests that were there before you. This delayed our staff in getting in to clean. Rather than do a quick run through, I was grateful Michele and Ginger took the time to ensure the house was clean. We are sorry for the delay encountered and really appreciated your patience. This year grass is scheduled to be cut on a 7 day rotation during the summer, so thank you for this information. I will be following up on this for sure as I shortened the rotation from last year. Our home is an older home, so compared to more modern day homes (with modern day pricing), it does have its own character. I love the word you used to describe it…”quirks.” I say, work your quirks! Each room has a separate controller for the heat. Once I informed you of that, I trust you were able to adjust the temperature to your liking. For future guest reading this, the breaker box is in the kitchen and very easily accessible. The electrical outlets do work; but just like in any house, the breaker must be turned on. With the flip of a switch it was an easy fix. I am thrilled you enjoyed your vacation and would stay with us again!
