The host communicatied perfectly throughout the entire stay. However I did have to ask for the check in code because it had not been sent by check in time. There was a lot of damage to the property as well not major unlivable damage but holes in walls and wobbly tables and shelves. Lastly I would note the shower in the the bed room in very small and the water pressure sucks . The neighborhood was quiet and safe and easy to find. I would stay here again in hopes that repairs will be made !

The quality of the house is very bad. Hot water only in one shower. In the second shower, a hole in the floor is just dangerous. The price is too high for such a low-quality house. The sewerage system is often clogged. The owners are very slow to respond to comments.

The property was dirty. The bathroom toilet overflowed, the kitchen was dirty and the sheets on the bed had spots on them. The rugs in the house was nasty and the one in the bedroom bath was wet. This could have been cleaner for the money and the curtains was dirty. The house was too small

The location of the house was somewhat confusing, as the property sits far back from the road. Upon arrival, we noticed the garage window was broken, which gave an unsettling first impression and made us uncomfortable parking our vehicle there. Additionally, there was no working light on the front porch—possibly to prioritize the security camera—which made accessing the lock even more difficult. The lock itself was very hard to operate and may need to be replaced.Once inside, we were met with a strong smell of fresh paint mixed with a musty odor, which caused one guest to develop a headache. Shortly after, one guest nearly put their foot through a section of unstable flooring in the bathroom. The second bathroom’s toilet was not functional. Although the property manager was responsive initially, they requested detailed troubleshooting from us before visiting and ultimately did not come to address the issue. As a result, we only had one working toilet for the duration of our stay.We also encountered a significant ant problem, which required us to clean up a large number of ants daily. When we requested a later checkout—given that 10:00 a.m. is earlier than the standard 11:00 a.m.—we were told another guest had requested early check-in. Considering the issues we experienced, the misleading presentation of the property, and the maintenance concerns, it is our opinion that this home requires substantial repairs and updates before being suitable for listing as a VRBO rental.

I would give property a 6/10 overrall although beautifully decorated, main bathroom towels worn with visable clorox stains and bathroom floor falling in by shower and toilet. Ant issue on kitchen counter, no hot water in second bathroom with plumbing issues with toilet in second bathroom. Second bathroom shower curtain not clean and smelled of mildew and moisture.

Nice decor! Not too clean!

I'm writing to share feedback about my recent stay at your VRBO property from Friday, June 21 through Monday, June 23. While the home has beautiful décor and great potential, there were several issues related to cleanliness and maintenance that made the stay disappointing — especially considering the cleaning fee paid in advance.Here are the main concerns I encountered:The towels provided were quite worn, so I purchased and washed new ones myself. When I went to use the dryer, I noticed the original towels were still inside, which made me question whether the laundry had been properly handled before my arrival.The comforters in both the first bedroom and the primary bedroom had visible oil-like stains that did not come out even after washing.A strong mildew smell was noticeable when entering the home, particularly coming from the front closet where the broom and mop are stored.There was no working porch light. The switch that may have controlled it appeared to be covered and couldn’t be accessed.I understand that occasional oversights happen, but these issues affected the overall comfort of my stay and did not align with the expectations set by the listing or the cleaning fee. Because of this, I believe it would be fair to request some form of compensation for the inconvenience and extra effort I had to make during the stay.Thank you for taking the time to review this. I hope the feedback is helpful in improving the experience for future guests.

Plans changed…..all fees stayed

I had to cancel last minute and I understand that my rent fees were not reimbursable. However, I did not appreciate having to pay the cleaning fee when we never were there to make any messes.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning home! The property is breathtaking, with a sprawling, well-maintained yard that’s perfect for relaxing. Mornings were our favorite—sitting on the charming bench, soaking in the serene surroundings was pure bliss. The bathrooms truly stole the show; they’re incredibly spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, making every moment feel luxurious. Home away from home in Redford

Home has updated bathrooms and kitchen appliances. Beds were comfortable enough as we only slept here at night and visited our family daily. We would stay here again because this was a better option than getting multiple hotel rooms for 2 adult children, my husband and I.
